•••BANGKOK CITY??CINDY’S PLACE
Cindy was sitting down,looking very unhappy when her friend,Jade walked in.
She threw her bag on the couch,and plopped herself down the chair,breathing out tiredly.
She just got back from where she went job hunting.
Turning to look at Cindy who looked like a kid that was refused of having some biscuits,Jade curved her brows a little,moving her eyes side to side,and wondering what’s up with her.
“Babe,is….everything okay?” She moved closer to Cindy,and asked,concerned.
“I am not okay,Jade. I’m so not okay,I think Caesar is still mãd at me over the fight we had last week” Cindy said with a sad expression.
“Caesar again?!” Jade gruntingly asked,rolling her eyes. She moved a little bit away from her,when she realized it’s because of Caesar she’s looking so sad.
“I’ve told you to leave that guy,but you have refused to listen.
Quit the darn relationship already,jeez!” She yelled,disgustedly.
“Quit? Don’t tell me to quit,Jade. Never you tell me to do that!
“I can’t just quit a relationship I’ve worked so hard for,for some years now,don’t tell me that!” Cindy yelled angrily.
“Did you hear yourself? “Some years now” and he never proposed to you.
Don’t you think he’d have done that before the “contract marriage” whatever?” Jade gesticulated,hissing loudly.
“He couldn’t because of his family,okay? Just stop adding salt to my wound,please. You’re not making me feel any better with anything you’re saying.
“Is it so easy for one to walk out of a relationship? You think it’s that easy? I love Caesar,okay,and I can’t leave him.” Cindy sighed out,eyeing jade.
“You love him,or his money?” Jade asked blatantly,and Cindy turned swiftly to look at her.
“Are you crazy?” She asked with a glare,and Jade chuckled,shaking her head.
“Just answer the simple question,babe. Do you love him,or his money.
Because I don’t get why you’re so obsessed with him these days,even when you’re seeing the clear signs that the relationship ain’t gonna work!
“I know it’s not easy walking away,but if I were you,the moment I realized they signed whatever blah blah blah…that he’d get married to whoever I don’t care to know. I’d quietly,and respectfully walk out!
“Wait,the fact that he never opened up,and told you about this signed contract marriage thing, should be enough reason for you to quit,Cindy.
“You don’t hide things from the one you love,no matter what that is. I am only looking out from you,but if you think I am only intruding,then I’ll quit advising you.
“You’re in love with him because of his money,else you would have left that relationship a long time ago. Don’t you even feel ashamed,going to leave with him in their matrimonial home?
“Yes,it’s a contract marriage,and they hate each other,but you’d be surprised how tomorrow will turn out to be.
“Worse still,his family doesn’t even like you,especially his Mom whom you told me about. Jeez! Grow up,Cindy!” Jade shook her head disappointedly.
If only Cindy would listen to what she’s trying to tell her,then she (Jade) would be very happy.
But Cindy wouldn’t,because she’s in love with Caesar.
Cindy went mute,and couldn’t say a thing.
Could Jade actually be saying the truth,or she’s just jealous of her?
But…her friend isn’t a jealous person,and Caesar on the other hand,loves her.
She can swéar with her life for that.
Now who is she supposed to believe,and who should she doubt?
“I have good news anyway,since you can’t ask how my day went. You’re just there thinking about Caesar” Jade said,jolting Cindy out of her deep thought.
“What good news?” Cindy asked with an eye roll,as she wasn’t really interested in whatever Jade was going to say.
“I got a job at NICO ENTERPRISE!” Jade ecstatically said it out loud.
“Aww. I am so happy for you,Jade” Cindy smiled,as they hugged.
“Thank you,babe. I am happy for myself too” Jade smiled happily.
“Let me get some juice. By the way,go get yourself a job too,and stop being moody because of Caesar” Jade shook her head,chuckling as she heads for the kitchen.
“Caesar loves me,and I know that. We’ll sure get married. That,I certainly know will happen.
“But the only way Caesar,and I can get married,is by getting rid of her!” Cindy said sinisterly,as she got herself into another round of thinking
