Draco’s eyes won’t leave Pearl as she plays in the garden happily.
Her happy moods sometimes surprises him, a smile in the midst of such pains, it was something he couldn’t understand.
“She’s one happy girl” someone said from his back and he turned to see Lyra.
“You’re still here” he frowned, walking away from the window.
“I could decide not to leave anymore” she replied with a grin.
“I’ll be sure to give you a grand funeral” he responded coldly and she chuckled lightly.
“You know time ain’t on your side anymore” Lyra said after sitting down with her legs crossed.
“Don’t see how that should be your problem” Draco replied rudely.
“We both know what’s gonna happen once you run out of luck” she smirked and lit a cigarette.
“And like I said that shouldn’t be your problem” he fired again and she stood up.
“I hope you know what you’re doing love” she smiled deviously from her back side look and disappeared into thin air.
Draco just stared into space, before sighing out and lean his head on the couch, like someone drowned in thoughts.

?Evie’s Home?
“Another day’s work with stress, gosh… I’m so tired” Evie muttered and fell flat on the sofa.
“Hope that doesn’t mean you won’t do the cooking?” She heard someone say beside her and she turned to see that babyish voice she recognizes.
“What’s up cutie?” Rex smiled while playing video games on his pad.
“You naughty brat when did you get back?, Evie said and went to pull his ear.
“Ouch…, my soft ear” he winced.
“Soft my a$s” she rolled her eyes and stopped, then went back to sit.
“Why I always hate coming back” Rex frowned with a pout.
“Am sure the streets still got some space left for you” Evie replied with a short devious smile and he glared.
“Did did you make dinner?”
“Yeah, but I ate it all”
“Is that how much you have been calling d.eath?” she asked, getting up.
“Yours is in the kitchen, so please leave me alone you bvlly” Rex rushed his words to save his head.
“Good boy” she smiled deviously and headed for the kitchen.
“So where were you after you returned from school?” Evie asked, coming out with a plate of food and a mouthful of it in her mouth.
“At the HQ” he responded, concentrating his attention on his game.
“Always there” she rolled her eyes, sitting down.
“Stop being like that, we owe him our lives, remember?”
“Whatever” she rolled her eyes again, while Rex stood up and walked to her.
“Good night sweet sis” he said and pecked her cheeks.
“Night lil bro” she smiled.
“Now that’s the look I wanna be seeing, he winked.
“Naughty boy” she chuckled as he left.

?Draco’s Mansion?
As everyone were having their breakfast, they mind their business and kept quiet.
Only the clicks of spoons and forks could be heard from the dinning.
“I’ll be leaving today” Lyra said and broke the silence.
Pearl raised her head swiftly to look at her, while Draco continued eating like nothing was said at all.
Pearl was afraid to say anything because of Draco, he might start scolding her again.
“I know you wanna say something, and the answer is yes am truly leaving” Lyra said to her with a short smile.
“Will you be back?” Pearl tried asking in a low tone.
“Of course honey?” I will come visiting cause of you, she replied and Pearl’s sad face turned to a happy one.
“I would love that” she smiled.
“Never knew table manners now goes on vacations” Draco said coldly and Pearl took in her lips.
