Chapter 50

Moments later

They were both done with bathing and are now in the bedroom. Evie looks better now in the beautiful robe he gave her.

His eyes fell on the bruises again and he sighed and went to bring the first aid kit.

He bent in front of her with it as she sat on the bed.

The treatment started and he tried to be as gentle as he could.

The more he treated her wounds, the more pain he felt to see her like that.

“Shhiii!!!” Evie winced as he treated her face next.

“Pick my calls whenever I call” he said calmly but in an authoritative voice, and she found herself nodding.

He kept the kit back after he was done treating her.

“Will you like to have anything?” he asked and she shook her head negatively.

“Okay, try to get some sleep then. I will be in the next room in case you need anything” he said and turned to leave.

“Wait” she muttered and he stopped, turning back his gaze to her.

“I.. I feel uncomfortable, please sleep here with me” she said to his surprise.

She bent her head down, biting her lip as she waited for his reply.

Instead of replying, he walked closer to her and she raised her head to look at him.

He lowered his body and brought his face closer to hers.

Their eyes were dancing into each other while their breaths fanned their face.

He brought his face closer again and Evie closed her eyes as their lips met.

Jax planned on making it a quick kss, but Evie pulled him back before he could break it.

The kss was slow at first, but it became intense by every passing second. Their tongues danced with each other as they kssed deeper.

To them, the taste was too much to stop craving for more. Their feelings and desires were poured into.

He might have kssed a couple of girls but none were to be compared with the taste of this one. It’s driving him insane.

After minutes of the endless kss, it finally came to an end. They started staring at themselves, breathing hard.

“I love you” he muttered with so much seriousness and care, and Evie smiled sweetly.

That’s the first time he had ever said those words seriously. He only used them as one of his flirting lines.

“He joined her on the bed and covered them with the blanket. She rested her head on his chest and he wrapped his hand around her.

“Thanks for saving me,” she said, smiling.

“Glad I played the hero role” he replied, smiling back and she chuckled.

Slowly she started drifting to sleep till she fell deeply and peacefully asleep.

“From now, I’ll continue playing the hero in your story” he muttered silently and pecked her hair before closing his own eyes.

Draco walked with slow steps into the richly decorated palace.

As he walked in, no one dared to stop. They all knew what he came for and it wasn’t a good one.

“My Lord, Lord Draco is here” a guard announced loudly.

“Let hi…” he couldn’t finish his reply as Draco barged in on his own.

“And if it isn’t the ‘Dread Lord’, how nice of you to come visit me” the fat man seated regally on a throne said with a devious smile.

A large feast was in front of him as he ate and drank from his gold plates and cup.

His large size occupied his seat so well that there wasn’t any space left in it.

On his head is a big crown, covering his round head. His appearance is just the definition of a ‘Greedy Pig’.

“You must have been living in dreams too much to think I would ever want to visit you” Draco said, frowning.

“Then shall I ask why you’re here?” The man said, taking a bite from his meat.

“What kind of alcohol were you taking when you sent your lycans after me?” He barked, going closer to him.

“You better mind your words, you’re now in my territory” the man said, smiling deviously.

“Territory?” Draco repeated and smirked.

He suddenly disappeared and appeared right in front of him. Gra.bbing his ne¢k, he started choking him.

The guards in there rushed to stop him, but a snap of his fingers turned them to ashes.

He turned his gaze back to the man, who was trying hard to release his grip. His d’vilish smile was on as his fingers grew longer.

He quickly drifted them into his big stomach and stabbed him countless times like a psycho. BI.ood gushed out heavily from his mouth and stomach.

“I hope you recognize my face in your next life and know the kind of d’vil to mess with,” Draco said as he removed his fingers and wiped them on the d.ead man’s clothes.

“Disgusting lycans” he scoffed and lighted a ¢igarette before disappearing.
