Chapter 106

Jax looked up to see Evie’s devious smile, which meant she’s the one that brought up the idea.

She knows vividly that memory from last time still hunts him.

“How about I promise you candies and you forget all about this idea?” He asked with a smile, but they shook their heads immediately.

“Stop being a coward and take those kids there” Draco chimed in with a smirk and Jax shot him a glare.

“Take us, take us, take us” the twins chanted happily.

“Adrian, at times like you should support me not siding with your mum and sis” Jax sighed.

“Let’s get going!” Evie said and grabbed his hand, dragging him out.

“See you next time buddy” Adrian waved goodbye to Devon as he was leaving with his parents.

“Bye!” Devon smiled, waving back.

“Bye Dev!” Adrianna pecked his cheek before rushing off and he blushed inwardly.

“Draco, I want a transparent casket and the words ‘Died A Hero’ on it” Jax said loudly.

“I’ll be more than glad to grant your last wish” Draco replied with a d’vilish smile.

“Wicked soul, I regret ever knowing you” Jax shouted as he was being dragged away.

“¢razy a$s!” Draco chuckled.

KITCHEN

Pearl kept the last plate she finished rinsing and went to dry her hands, enjoying a moment of respite.

She had given the maids a break, but they would soon return.

As she dried her hands, she felt the familiar sensation of hands wrapping around her tummy.

Turning her gaze to the back, she saw Draco standing there, his eyes sparkling with affectionate delight.

“Am I getting shorter, or are you growing taller every day?” Pearl quipped, as she faced him.

“Told you I got good genes,” Draco replied with a proud smile, prompting an eye roll from Pearl.

“You’re looking ravishing, Gem” Draco complimented, gently touching her lips.

“Are you trying to make fun of me? I know I’ve gotten a bit chubby,” Pearl responded self-consciously.

“No baby, you look good, trust me. I think my dk needs a reward” Draco smirked and Pearl playfully hit him.

Draco gently lifted her chin, their eyes locked in an intimate dance.

Leaning in, he kssed her soft lips tenderly, eliciting a soft moan from Pearl as he bit her lower lip.

Their tongues entwined, savoring each other’s taste, a sensation that made them crave more.

“Son alert!” they heard Devon exclaim, and Pearl quickly broke the kss, clearing her throat.

“Devon!” Draco growled lightly, his frustration evident as he sighed.

“Adults are really weird” the little boy muttered, shaking his head.

“Well, kids are weird too” Pearl replied, as Draco lifted Devon into his arms.

“I never did anything weird” Devon defended himself.

“Of course, honey. Nothing weird happened when Adria pecked you” Pearl teased, causing a reddish blush to appear on Devon’s cute cheeks.

“I’m with my son. Nothing happened” Draco asserted, earning a high-five from Devon.

“I love you, Dad” Devon giggled.

“I can’t wait for my daughter to join me. She’ll keep both of you on your toes” Pearl scoffed, and they all chuckled together, basking in the warmth of their affectionate bond.

After spending some quality time together, the whole family went to the sitting room to speak with the Terrors.
