I stood by his side starring at him, what did he just say?
Is he crazy or what? I thought starring at him
He looked down at me and I saw him smile in a mischievous way and it was then that I knew that he was doing this on purpose
He gave me an I will kill you look if I dare to talk
“Oh really? Then come give me a hug”his mom said to me
And reluctantly I walked towards her and gave her a hug
While Dora ran ahead of us into the house
” I knew my son would certainly someday wake up and find that having a child and a wife is the best thing a man can have in his life”his mom said
“I certainly have woken up mom” he said behind me
“Okay then,welcome to the family but first have got to go and check on Dora” she said and ran in
“How dare you?” Lily yelled at him
“Hey just quiet it down” he said
“No I won’t,did you know what you’ve just said to your mom” I yelled angrily
“I know ” he said smiling
“Are you crazy? There is no way that I will act as your fiancée” I yelled angrily
“And am not asking you to act like one,you are surely going to be one either you like it or not” he said and began to walk in
“Hey am not done talking to you” I said wanting to draw his arms but he was quick with it
He shifted and pulled me to him,getting me very close to His body
“Let me go you creep” I said angrily
“That was the same thing you called me in front of dora,is that how you raise a kid by saying insultive words right in front of her” he said
“You dont know how I train my child”
“I do know okay and I think that will stop now” he said

“You will know soon, now put a smile on that face of yours and let’s go in” he said

“Of course it is and this is just the beginning” he said and pulled me close to him until we got in

I sat at a far end in the living room,watching my mom and Dora playing by the other side of the room
I really hate the sight of children,I hardly ever go to a place where there are kids
But somehow I felt drawn to the little girl over there,she is cute,talkative and a little too know for her age
I stared at lily who was talking to my mom,seeing her alone makes me angry
She is the cause of everything,I really want to get back at her in a way that will hurt her so much
Asking her to be my fiancée is just step one,step two will come soon and am sure that it will be a big blow to her lousy pride
She will regret the day she was ever born, I will make sure of that,I thought still starring at her
She looked my way And I gave her a smile,a smile which she returned in a cold way,if only she knew what’s coming her way
“So max when will the wedding take place” my mom said starring at me
“Soon” I said getting up,purposely heading to where lily was seated
“Isn’t that right my love” I said pulling her close to me
She forced a smile my mom way and nodded gently
“You both look good together,am glad you are getting married soon,may God bless you both” my mom said getting up
“I have to show Dora something before she leaves” my mom said as she walked dora in
“This is as far as I.can go,iwont lie to a kind woman”lily said beside me
” really?you won’t? ”
“I just can’t do it okay,am not your fiancée,things might have been ruined when the press got hold of the story but you can still rectify things between you and your real fiancee,please leave Me out of this” she said as she paced about the room
“Well am sorry to say my dearest your now in this and you will see this till the end” I said giving her a hot glare
