“Is that guy insane?” Kate yelled from the phone
“He is just someone wanting to please his parents but he is doing it the wrong way” I said
“You better leave that house this instant” she said
“I can’t Kate believe me when I say that I really want to leave but I can’t” I said
I couldn’t tell Kate that I was staying because he had threatened me with the throwing her in jail
If she find out,she would do the right thing and I dont want that for her, I dont want Kate in jail
“Then why? Is he threatening you? Just tell me and I will come over there”
“He is not threatening me, he just wants me to stay with Dora because his mom is so fond of her” I said
That was partly true though.
“Are you sure about this lily?”
“Yes I am” I said
“Fine then take care but if he tries anything with you then call me okay”
“I will call” I said and ended the call
He has already tried something with me,I thought as I touched my lips
The jerk had kssed me without my permission and I know that more would still come from him, pretending to be his fiancé and marrying him would only get me more close to him
“I could do with some nice warm body to return to at night”
Remembering his words alone gave me shivers
I might have been forced to be the replacement of his bride but I won’t let him touch or come near me
Have had enough of guys to get myself tangled up with a jerk like this one
“Momma,uncle max said that you should pack that we are leaving soon” Dora said running into my room
“Where are we going?” I said
“To Greece,we are all going to see my dad and hurry up” he said through the doorway and disappeared
Apart for forcing all this on me,I now have to leave to an unknown country to see a man who I know nothing of
Things are just getting worse as the day go by
While max and his mom and Dora settle for our flight
I called Kate to notify her of things,she was with her boyfriend and she had given him the phone tp talk to me
I was still talking to him when suddenly my phone was snatched from me
“This is Max Torres lily fiance,dont call this number again,if she had been giving you her service then its over now because she is getting married” he said and switched off the phone before pocketing it
“Why did you do that!”
“He must be one of your customers right?”
“What rubbish are you saying?”
“You really know how to act and I must credit you for that but what I really want now is for you to only focus on me,I dont want you attending to any other guy, apart from being a golddigger you also turned out to be promiscuous, how much was that man going to pay you,tell me I will double it if only that will make you realise that your only focus should be on pleasing my parents” he said
“You really are a creep” I said angrily
“Don’t act all vrginal with me,if your a goldigger you can be a lot more” he said
“I really hate you” I said angrily
“The same goes for me too” he said and angrily I walked off to meet his mom
We got into their first class plane and though it was quite posh and Dora keeps on ooohing and aaahing about the plane I didn’t care,I was still angry about what max said a while ago
“Don’t you think max is working a lot” his mom whispered at me
“I dont think so” I said
He can work to death for all I care, I thought within me
“Why not go to him and talk to him,if I do he won’t listen to me” she said urging me to him
Not wanting to stir up trouble,I went and sat beside him on the chair
“Arent you working too much” I said
“Are you worried about me” he said smiling
“In your dreams,am only asking cause your Mom told me to come here” I said
“Really?”
“Yes,not for once do I care for you and I hope you drop dead from working too much” I said
“Well I dont think that will ever happen and I think I will stick to your advice” he said suddenly closing his laptop
He suddenly set his head on my shoulder
“What are you doing”
“Resting and dont you dare move,mother is watching us and judging from her look,she is thinking that its the most romantic scene ever,dont do anything to make her think otherwise” he warned me and unwillingly I sat there
Letting him put his head on my shoulder,through the whole ride, I had to suffer the pain of having his head on my shoulder
And to top it all,the shampoo he uses for his hair keeps on drifting into my nose,making me aware of him
Finally we got to Greece and soon we got into a chauffeur driven limo
I noticed that max was not really talking much and that he was thinking deeply
What could he be thinking I thought as I starred at him
Maybe his father,is he thinking of his father?
We got to the hospital and was directed to a room where a frail old man was
The moment he saw us,his sad expression turned into a happy one
“My dear” his mom said going to kss the man
“Hello dad” max said going to stand beside his dad
“And they must be little Dora and lily” the old man said and I walked Dora to him and he held her tightly in his hands
“My dearest grandchild” he said starring at dora
“Welcome into the family child”he said holding me my hands
” thank you Sir ”
“Have you done what I asked you ” the man said to his wife
“Yes,I did it last night”
“What did you do for dad mom” he said
” she helped me arrange things for your wedding”he said
“But you dont have to worry about that,have got it all working and the wedding is two weeks away”
“Well that has change son,I want you both married here and now” he said and soon a judge walked in along with two witness
Is he planning on getting me married to him,I thought starring at Max in h©rror
