Episode 54

….Mykel’s pov….
I stepped into the office and met Mr Frosh sitting on his table comfortable. He’s not really the usual kind of boss you’d meet daily. He’s very weird and I suspect he has mental issues.
This time, he wasn’t drinking vodka or smoking a cigarette – He’s drinking water.
Which is also strange.
“Good evening” I greeted approaching him.
“I heard you killed an as.shole that was on the run. Do you know how much pain I wanted him to go through before dying???” He questioned giving me a scalding look.
“I’m not to blame. It’s the incompetent guards you kept incharge of him. I told you that I want peace and whoever stains that gets a bullet for it…” I replied daringly.
He cracked and shook his head negatively.
“Fine. I’ll let this drop. I’m sure the devil’s in hell by now. I learned the mission was a success. Luckily, you stuck to my rules and didn’t shoot anyone” He said and released a creepy smile.
“Whatever…you know what we agreed on. I go to America tomorrow and get my girl. We’ll spend two weeks together here in Korea. After the short vacation, I’ll know what next to do” I stated and he smiled again.
“Yes. I know we agreed on that. I’ll just miss you this two weeks. You’re the best among all my subjects. I always knew you were special, Mykel. But after you bring her here, we’ll work towards destroying her father who is guilty of murdering your parents. I’ve mapped out a unique plan… Your head is still in the game, right?” He asked staring intently.
I didn’t give him a response as i turned around and left the place.
Edward is mine to handle alone and I’ll do that after I get rid of Frosh…
I don’t trust any of them and I’ll definitely bring them down, that’s a promise.
•••At Mykel’s Mansion•••
I didn’t move around with escorts though i had acquired much wealth including my parent’s as well. I loved being alone. I had to keep things simple.
I had hired maids though and they arrived yesterday. They’d cook and perform minor duties for the next three weeks.
I stopped the car right in front of the house and moved out holding my favorite gun. I just liked I amongst the rest Mr Frosh gifted me.
I’ve been to a training field were I was taught how to pull the trigger without shaking or having seconds thoughts. I was there for months before I graduated and started working for Frosh. Carrying out weapon trade and other tasks for him.
I entered the main house and bumped into one of the maids who was cleaning a flower vase with a piece of clothe.
“Good evening, sir. I’m really sorry” She apologized and I noticed she was startled to the bones.
“It’s alright. Take deep breaths…” I whispered and she quickly did so.
“Thank you, sir. I feel much relieved” She chipped with her fists tightened.
I nodded and walked past her.
There were just three maids I hired.
I wouldn’t want the house crowded when she gets here.
I rushed up the stairs to my bedroom which almost looked like the devil’s hideout with dark images pasted on the walls.
I tossed the gun aside and slumped on the bed, tired and stressed out.
I tried to remember how many people I killed today.
The snitch during the mission…
The runaway guy…
Wow!…
I killed just two people today.
I must have been In a good mood.
Well…I’m not gonna be happy until I see her and get to kss her wonderful lips again.
……….America…….
…….Rissa’s pov…….
I rushed outside to my ride which was waiting patiently for me. I don’t want to be late for school!.
I had no idea when I entered the car and shut the door.
I must be superwoman!
“Good morning, Lewis” I greeted setting down my schoolbag.
“Morning, Rissa!” He replied and started the car and driving off Grandma’s mansion.
I slipped out my phone as it began ringing.
Lucas was calling!!…
J.erk. He said he would send me the list of universities that his father owned. I really wanted the complete list so i can show it to my classmates.
“Hey, Rissa. I’m sorry for not sending the list. I slept off…” He said immediately i answered the call.
“It’s alright, pal. You can send It, right now” I stated and he gasped.
“I swear, I will. You’re the best!” He replied and I disconnected the call.
It didn’t take a minute and a message from him popped into my phone.
It turned out to be the list.
I’m glad we sorted things out.
He had to visit me at grandma’s house to ask for forgiveness. He was literally sobbing so i had no choice but to clear the bad air.
But, one thing’s for sure – I’ll never engage myself in a r©mantic relationship again.
I’ve lost hope.
In fact, I’d rather eat mud!
I read unread messages from Zoe and Alex. We talk more often since we were about to graduate and we would get into university.
The whole thing is so exciting..
I’m going to the mall later to pick a dress for the occasion. I can’t believe I got picked to give a speech on behalf of all the girls in the school.
This week is gonna be a blast.
