Brother Ebuka went on his knees….he started singing….
I will lift up my eyes to the hills, from whence cometh my help….
My help cometh from the Lord, the Lord who made heaven and earth…..
He said, he will not suffer my foot to be moved….
The Lord who keepeth me…..he will not slumber nor sleep…
Oh the Lord is my keeper….the Lord is my shield upon my right hand…..
Oh the sun shall not smite me by day, nor the moon by night….
He shall preserve my soul….even forever more….
Oh oh my help, my he…lp, my help, all of my help cometh from the Lord…..
He started praying…..
Lord Jesus, I thank you for your love, I thank you for your grace, I thank you for your mercy. Lord I thank you for finding me worthy to serve. I thank you for the responsibility upon me to lead your people. Oh Lord, indeed, I am in the midst of mixed multitude. Help me oh God. I don’t want to end up like Moses, who suffered and worked tirelessly and missed entering the promise land because of the people of Israel.
My Lord, I don’t want to end up like Samson, the great man, who was destroyed by a woman. Just like the illustration you gave me, I refuse to be enticed by Eve’s APPLE. Give me the grace to hold on to your instruction. Lord help me (crying) uphold me. Give me the boldness you gave to Joseph, give me the wisdom you gave to Solomon. You said in the book of Acts 13:47 “I have made you a light for the Gentiles, so that the world may be saved” Lord, I will continue to shine. Just like Joshua and Caleb, I will stand for you. I will uphold Righteousness. Give me the grace not to sell my integrity. Help me Lord. Your word says, your strength is made perfect in my weakness. I can’t do this by myself. By myself, it won’t work. Lord, I cannot make it without you, Lord I need your help…..
Brother Ebuka locked up himself indoors for three days fasting and praying. After the fasting and prayer, he decided to host a programme. He titled it “The End of Jezebels and sons of Belial”
Pastor Real refused to endorse the programme because of the topic.
-Ebuka listen to me, topics like this scare people away from coming to church. They will assume you are calling them names. Use topics like DIVINE SETTLEMENT, WITCHES MUST DIE, MIRACLE GALORE, you know, something catchy then when you draw attention with this kind of poster, you can now preach whatever. See, this church thing, I have been in it for 16years, I have suffered to build this parish to this enviable status I won’t allow anyone spoil it. If the programme must hold, change the theme to a more interesting topic.
– ok sir.
Brother Ebuka left pastor Real’s office. He called sister Tonia and Brother Divine.
-Good evening sir Tonia greeted
-Good evening sir, Divine greeted.
-Good evening brethren, you are welcome. I have a serious burden in my heart. I fasted for three days with intense prayers. I desire to host a programme and the Lord laid the theme in my heart but pastor said he won’t endorse the programme until I change the topic.
-Hmmm, why? Divine asked. Did you tell him the topic is from God?
-Yes I did.
-and yet he refused? Sister Tonia asked. Hmmm, that’s very bad. How can a leader show disobedience as example.
-Sir, what did you tell him, as in, what was your response? Divine asked.
-I said ok sir
-What???? Ok sir??? Meaning you will change the topic? Argh sir nooo, the theme is from God. You can’t disobey God and obey him na. You should have stood your ground sir. How can he stop what God has started. That’s evil na.
-(Ebuka smiled) listen to me brethren. This is the mistake many of us make. They disobey God because they want to Obey God.
-I don’t understand sir. Divine replied
-How sir? Tonia replied.
-Hmm, if I insist, it will not end up well. We might quarrel at the end. I might even end up insulting him, we might even fight. Bible made it clear, a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump. As I force my way because I want to obey God, I will end up disobeying him. Wisdom is highly needed and this is why I called you both.
-Hmm, Tonia and Divine sighed
-Now, the theme of the programme is, THE END OF JEZEBEL AND THE SONS OF BELIAL.
-Wow, Tonia replied
-Hmm, (Divine bursted in tongues) fire.
-Yes! Pastor said, the theme will scare people away from coming to church. I should come up with something catchy like Divine Settlement, and some prosperity related topics. Of course I can’t. We will endorse this programme through prayer. You see this programme it must hold. We will keep vigil. We don’t argue with empty words. We Argue with prayers. Oh Lord, defend your word. If by flesh this has come up, then the words of Pastor Real will stand but if not, let God’s word prevail. Make it a prayer.
The trio started praying. Heaven opened. After that evening, the next day, they started vigil.

A colleague walked into Juliet’s office.

Testify how God change you from bad girl to good girl. Try am. Na the pastor go dey follow you bumper to bumper.
-hmmm, you get point o. You know, I have never thought of this idea. Jane, thanks a lot. Ha, but this speaking in tongues, e go hard o.

-Hahahahaha…..na curse be that for yoruba o. Abeg o.
-Hahahahahahahaha, just they run your mouth. They fall upandan, they shout Holy Spirit.
-Hahahahahahahaha, arrgh, Jane, you no well. Seriously I’m so in for this. Soon, Ebuka, you will be mine.
AFTER THE THREE DAYS VIGIL HELD BY EBUKA, TONIA AND DIVINE, DADDY G.O CALLED EBUKA.
-Good morning daddy.
-Good morning son. You are blessed. The Lord spoke to me. He said you have something for the youths.
Ebuka was speechless.
-Yes daddy.
-so why didn’t you inform me? What is it all about?
-Daddy, the theme is THE END OF JEZEBELS AND SONS OF BELIAL.
DADDY G.O BURSTED IN TONGUES
-son, this means God wants to filter the youth nation. This is going to be a great programme. It’s going to be a very loud youth convention. It will hold for three days and son, you will anchor it for that three days. It will hold here at the headquarters. Hmmm, pray more, fast more. Every youth of this commission must attend. Jezebels and Sons of Belial must leave us. My dear son, I know the Lord is taking you somewhere. Keep on in your faith, you will overcome.
-AMEN thank you daddy.
-I will call all the branch pastors now. Everyone should get prepared.
-ok daddy.

Oh Lord, you confirmed your word in Jeremiah and 33:3. I can’t stop serving you. What a God!!!
