Jenna happily ran to Brayden who just stepped in then jumped happily on his arms
“Finally you came back uncle, I miss you a lot” she smiled
Brayden smiled and lifted her up properly then rubbed the tip of his nose on hers
“Uncle misses you too a lot” he smiled
“Did uncle get any gift for me?” She asked happily
“Yes, it’s inside uncle’s car outside, the maids will go get it by the way where’s your daddy?” He replied and asked
“Daddy is in his room, you came just at the right time he’s about going to work, I’ll go call him” Jenna jumped down from him and rushed up the stairs
Brayden looked at Irish and she pretend as if she was cleaning the kitchen, praying inwardly that he won’t see or recognize her
Brayden chuckled and dipped his hands into his paint pocket then moved closer to her
“I think I know you” he stopped at her front and spoke up
“No you don’t” Irish replied
“Yes I do, just look at me” he said with a playful smirk
“No” she replied but he grabbed her arms and made her face him
“Hey” she yelled and eyed him like a child
“So what if it’s me, what do you wanna do huh?” She crossed her arms and he shook his head
“So it’s really true, you’re really staying with my brother” he said looking at her while she kept eyeing him
“Are you his wife or the mother of his daughter or is it fake?” He asked
Irish is about to reply but was interrupted when Jenna came down the stairs dragging Jake who’s dressed for work along
“Brayden, I should have known” Jake frowned when he saw him
“Brother, I’m happy to see you too” Brayden smiled
“Why are you here and not in school?” Jake asked straight to the point
“Brother” Brayden drawled, “It’s Saturday and I just came to visit, it’s been long since I’ve come here” he replied
“You’re welcome uncle, can the maids go get my present now?” Jenna asked cutely
“Sure sweetheart” Brayden replied and Jenna happily rushed to a maid
Jake eyes followed her till she was out of sight before looking at Brayden again
“Now tell me why you’re really here?” He asked with his hands on his pocket
“I… I saw the news” Brayden replied, rolling his hands and looking unsure
Behind them, Irish is still looking at them With a surprise expression on her face
“So they are really brothers??” She said to herself.

The door bell rang and startling Crystal who’s busy in the kitchen
“I’m coming” she replied and made to go to the door but Kaylee came out instead
“You can do what you’re doing, I’ll get it” she said, walking to the door
Crystal was surprised to see Kaylee still at home, is she not going to work today, she stared at Kaylee with creased brows as Kaylee is busy talking to the delivery man
Finally Kaylee took her small carton, tipped the guy and went upstairs
“What is she up to?” Crystal thought but shurgged since none of this is her business or what so ever
Kaylee got to her room and locked the door, she opened it and it revealed a small container containing a liquid content in it
“Kaylee you’re doing the right thing, you need to act up fast if you don’t do this then you’ll watch her take him from you” she said to herself with shaky hands
“Yes I’m doing the right thing” she convinced herself and nodded
“For so long I’ve been closing my mouth like a dummy, he deserves to know what I feel for him, I can’t just let him fall for someone else, no way, I won’t let that happen, Kaylee you won’t let that happen” she said to herself.

Jake sighed when he got down from his car, he’s just coming to work by this time so late but what can he do, he’s the boss after all so he’s free to come at whatever time he wants
Last night he wasn’t able to sleep well with the scene of Peter and Irish together so he slept so late and woke up so late, he isn’t feeling well infact he doesn’t feel like coming to work today
“Good morning Mr Martinez”
“How was your night Mr Martinez”
Employees were greeting him again, he just nodded simply and went to his office
“Boss” Eric came in with a bow
“Call Kaylee and asked her what my appointment is for today” he said
“Boss you don’t look to good” Eric said worriedly
“Just do what I asked you too damnit” Jake snapped and Eric rushed out with a bow, he went to Kaylee’s office and was surprised to see it locked,he was about going back to inform Jake but paused when he saw her entered
“Kaylee, goodness you’re just coming now” he said
“Hmm, did boss noticed?” She asked and he shook his head
“You should be lucky that boss don’t have your time, he asked you to tell him about his schedules for today” he replied
“Oh okay” Kaylee walked to her office in a haste, Eric looked at her noticing something weird about her today but can’t just point
He watched her search through some files before stepping out and going to Jake’s office
“She’s acting weird” he thought
Kaylee got to Jake office and bowed slightly
“Good morning boss, so your schedule for this morning till 3pm is, first you’ll have a meeting with your top clients by 11:30am to 12:30pm, second you have lunch reservation at Lorrin’s Pete restaurant with Mr Malcom from 2pm to 3pm” she said
Jake who’s sitting and crossing his legs together nodded, it’s just 10:53am just few minutes more to his board meeting
“Can I get a warm cup of coffee before that?” He asked
“Yes sir” Kaylee bowed and left

She got to the coffee machine and smiled, this is just what she has been waiting for, a perfect opportunity to carry out her plan
“Yes I can do this” she convinced herself and began making the coffee, after making the coffee she dipped her hands into her clothes and took out the small bottle
“I’m really sorry Mr Jake Martinez, but I need to make you notice me somehow.. if it can’t happen naturally then it should happen artificially” she muttered then looked left and right before emptying the content inside the cup of coffee, mixing it hard with a spoon and going back to his office but unknown to her some pairs of eyes were watching her
Kaylee placed the cup in Jake’s desk and bowed
“Is there anything else I can help you with boss?” She asked
“No thanks” Jake shook his head and took the cup, he was about placing it on his lips but paused when he noticed Kaylee staring at him intensely, following his every move
“What, do you want something?” He asked and she shook her head immediately then hurriedly left
Jake stared at her back for a while then looked at the coffee then slowly placed it on his lips taking a sip, however Kaylee didn’t leave completely she hid by the wall and peeked at him through the door
Her lips curved up into a smile when she saw him drink it
“Finally, just wait for few hours then you’re all mine” she chuckled to herself.
Jake rubbed his head, his eyes were feeling slightly heavy as he walked to the board room
The clients who were sitting with their bottle water at the front of them, stood up and greeted him
“Hmm” he replied and sat down
“So we are all gathered here today to discuss on the incoming project for this year business event” he started and yawned a little
“Yes Mr Jake, we’ve all gathered with the loungeteam and we’ve decided to go with the 4D pro max karaoke machine with full satellites and free USD cables” one of them spoke up and Jake nodded
“So looking into the craft designs I constructed on Saturday, I think it’ll be best if we make some adjustments will you mind if I come to explain?” Mr Edward asked
“No” Jake replied and Mr Edward stood up, he moved to the big projector at the front and began explaining some things but throughout Jake wasn’t listening
“Why I’m I feeling this way, I feel so suffocated” he muttered and faned himself a little.
