“Since… Since morning?” Alan repeated, almost stammering
The guards nodded lowly
“Why will you do that?” He yelled
“We didn’t, ma’am Naomi asked us too” they replied lowly
Alan cur$ed silently and scooped Kaylee in his arms, then began carrying her inside his room
“Hun what are you doing, how can you bring her in here” Naomi complained as she ran after him
Alan dropped Kaylee on the bed and turned to look at Naomi
“What?” Naomi asked
“Look at her face” he said
“Huh?”
“Look at her face” he repeated
Naomi looked at Kaylee’s face and rolled her eyes
“It’s burnt, so what?” She asked
“How can you do this to your fellow woman?” He said, feeling really disappointed
“She’s a nobody” Naomi rolled her eyes
“How can you say that, she’s a human like you, she’s pregnant too, how can you do this!?” He almost yelled
Naomi went speechless while Alan shook his head and began leaving
“Hunny” she held his hands and he slowly pulled it away
“I swear I didn’t know that she was pregnant” she added with pleading eyes
“I’m really disappointed, really” he said then gave her a last look before leaving
Naomi turned to glare hard at Kaylee before rolling her eyes and leaving, his disappointed, not like she cares.

Jake’s Mansion**
Irish blew and stir on the soup as she walked up to Jenna’s room, earlier her teacher said that she wasn’t feeling well in class, she didn’t have lunch and Jenna has been refusing to eat no matter how Irish has been forcing her
She came back early today, Jake was still at the office, Irish got an early shift since she would still had to come and take care of Jenna at home
Inside Jenna’s room, she opened a big nylon of bread, eating it as fast as she could until she heard a knock, she looked left and right, thinking of where to hide it
“Jenna darling, it’s me” Irish called out
Jenna hid the bread under her pillow and lay down
“Come in mum”
Irish opened the door and walked up to Jenna, she sat on the edge of the bed and touched her body
“I think your getting better, you’re no longer burning up” she muttered
“Yes mummy I’m fine, you can go now” Jenna smiled
“You’re not fine, drink your medicine first” Irish took a spoonful and Jenna looked away
“Come on drink up”
“I’m fine mummy”
“No you’re not, you don’t want to take the medicine that’s why, drink up” Irish tried putting it into Jenna’s mouth
“It’s an act, I’m fine”
Irish dropped the medicine and looked at her
“An act?”
“Yes mummy” Jenna pouted
“Why were you acting, have you become this lazy” Irish crossed her arms
“No mom, it’s not like that”
“Really then what is it like?” Irish asked
Jenna sighed and began telling her everything, she told her how both Noah and Owen asked her for lunch
She couldn’t turn down any of them, she didn’t want them to get hurt so she had to faked her sickness then skipped lunch in school
“Jenna” Irish sighed out and dropped the plate of medicine
“You don’t play with food okay, what have you eaten since afternoon, I’ve been trying to make you eat” Irish added
Jenna smiled and opened her pillow then brought out a nylon of bread
“I was eating this”
“This ain’t food, get up and come to the dinning, I’ll serve you some food” she sighed
Jenna smiled and stood up, still eating on her bread, she rushed to the dinning happily.
They were both eating and laughing when Jake came in
“Daddy” Jenna smiled
“Baby, your teacher called to tell me that you’re not feeling well, your health how’s it?” He asked, going to touch her forehead
“Don’t worry she’s fine now” Irish smiled
“Are you sure?” He asked, touching her forehead
Irish only winked in reply before standing up and walking to him, she wrapped her hands around his neck and pecked his lips
“At least tell me to close my eyes” Jenna rolled her eyes
Jake chuckled and pulled away then began losing his tie
“Sorry we were eating without you, Jenna was hungry but since you’re here I’ll go get your food” she said
Jake nodded and pecked her lips one more time before climbing the stairs and going to his room
Irish smiled and walked up to the kitchen ready to dish out Jake’s dinner
“Mummy should I come help?” Jenna asked from the dinning
“Yes dear” Irish replied and Jenna happily rushed to the kitchen
She assisted Irish in most things, they successfully made Jake’s dinner. Jake came down after few minutes, he took the chair beside Jenna
“Baby, are you sleeping here today?” He asked Irish
“Hmm, I’m planning to start living here, hope it’s okay” she replied
“Are you saying you’ll stay here with me and daddy forever?” Jenna asked and Irish nodded
“Yes !!” Jenna clapped
“I’m happy with your decision, I don’t like it when you go come, I hate seeing you stress yourself out” Jake smiled
“I’m not stressing, as far I’m doing it for the people I love” Irish shook her head
Jenna took a drink and poured on her cup
“Cheers to us” she smiled
“You’re coping your grandma, she says that almost everytime” Irish chuckled
“I love her” Jenna pouted
Irish smiled and refilled her class, Jake’s was still full
“Cheers” she said and the three of them both clicked on it.
