??THE KING
AND I??
Episode 27
Written by: Eunice Nwodu
Manuel’s pov?
I opened the door and gave way for Castro to walk in. He was holding with him some clothes.
“This is the waiter’s uniform for the All-King conference” He said handing me a black shirt.
I chuckled amazed.
“How were you able to get them?” I asked taking off the shirt I had on.
“With a long dk, anything is possible” He said smirking.
I laughed unable to utter a word.
“Should I take the black gun or silver?” He asked opening the drawer.
“No…we won’t do anything nasty tonight. We shouldn’t let him know there’s a planned attack pointed at him” I replied and he nodded.
“Whatever you say bro…”.
Dawn’s pov?
“What the h’ll are you talking about?” I asked glaring at nothing in particular.
“Geez! Princess Anna, do you know the penalty for keeping the king waiting?? We have to start getting you prepared for the conference” She stated sounding impatient.
“But…what if I don’t want to go to the conference?” I asked feeling perturbed.
“There’s nothing you can do about it, your highness. The king has chosen you to go with him to the conference and no once can question his authority” She responded taking up the dress.
I’m really not prepared for this tonight.
Why must everyday in this castle be filled with shocking events??…
“Your bath is ready – a tub of warm water and bubbles” She said checking out the dress.
It was beyond beautiful and had extra large diamond laces.
This doesn’t make sense.
Why me???
Oh!!
This is frustrating.
What on earth does King Lee have in mind? What about Alicia…she’s the first wife.

“He’s going to kill us, your highness!
He told me ten minutes but this is almost thirteen minutes! What’s he going to do to me??”
Caroline wavered behind me as we strolled down the stairs.
I was all dressed up in the dress and shoes. The glittering gold jewelries made me lit up and I didn’t look like the Dawn I was one bit…
I was changed completely into someone else I couldn’t identify.
Who was I now??…
“Please walk faster, your highness—”
I stopped and raised my hand over her face and she went numb.
“One more word from your lips and I’ll order for you to be killed myself, do you understand?” I asked icily.
“Yes, your highness. I perfectly understand” She replied with a gulp.
I sighed and proceeded in walking out of the house.
I’m still surprise I could walk painstakingly in the gold high heels I was putting on.
Immediately we got outside, we saw four white high cars lined out and two guards stood outside.
One of them opened the door to the backseat and i let him help me get in.
The car was pretty high and I presumed the car was Benz like I heard people talk about.
I sat on the leather seat next to…
Oh my God!
King Lee was in the car too.
I stared at him – awe filled.
He was operating his phone and didn’t even act like I was in the car with him.
I took deep breaths adjusting properly on the seat.
“Good evening King Lee” I greeted and he simply nodded.
I was able to see his face through the reflecting light from his phone screen.
There was a clean black substance drawn around his eyes making him look like a korean model..
So handsome and cute.
He also had his silver earrings on that lit up his fair charming face.
I’m sure it was creepy just staring into his face like he was a zombie or something but I couldn’t help it.
The strong and sweet scent of his cologne occupied my nostrils and I felt like sniffing him all over.
The car started driving out from the castle along with the other three cars.
As I continuously gawped into his demi god face, he suddenly – without warning fluttered his eyes up and our eyes locked.
Oh Dawn…
You surely have a death wish.
Suddenly, The light on his phone shone brightly into my eyes and I flinched backwards shielding my eyeballs away from the light.
“Woman pe.rvert” He muttered and I had no idea when I scoffed.
Oh mercies!
He rolled his eyes and plonked himself on the seat.
“Are you wearing the ring??” He asked and I nodded.
He took my hand and squeezed it once but didn’t let go.
“Good” he whispered and closed his eyes.
