Dawn’s pov?
I opened my eyes and rubbed them slowly. I bad no idea when I slept off last night. I guessed it was because King Lee kept stroking my hair in a slow pace.
I drew myself to sit upright on the bed.
Like expected…there was no glimpse of the king and I wonder how he always wakes up before me.
I’m going to be the first to wake up one day and I’ll definitely rub it in his face.
I yawned and stretched my hands as far as it could go before climbing down from the bed. I wore my shoes which were on the floor.
Memories of last night came flooding and I snapped my neck up to stare at the door that led to the garden.
I walked painstakingly to the garden and I was muzzled on seeing the floor spotless. The exact spot where King Lee was with the dog was cleaned and not even a drop of blood was detected.
Oh my goodness!
I returned back to the room and looked around for my crown. I saw the crown on the table next to a gold glittering necklace.
It looked so dazzling that I was tempted to touch it.
Some part of me wished It was mine…
Intact, where will I wear it too?
I took my crown and wore my dress before leaving through the main door where a few guards were.
I met Caroline standing at a corner.
She twirled and I smiled exuberantly the moment she set her eyes on me.
“Good morning, your highness” She greeted with a slight bow.
I approached her and we started towards the hallway that led to my bedroom.
“Morning Caroline…how was your night?” I asked feeling perturbed.
“I should be asking you, my princess…how does it feel sleeping on the same bed with the king?” She blurted.
I sighed rolling my eyes.
This lady will never change?
Sometimes I feel like she isn’t just my maid but a friend. Her manner of speaking changes within seconds.
“I don’t want to have this conversation right now” I groused walking as fast as possible and leaving her behind.

I sat on the bed and Caroline began taking off my shoes. She took her time rubbing my feet as well.
“Caroline, Do you have any idea where the king went?” I asked after a brief silence.
She lifted her head and nodded.
“There’s a field combat between the men in our kingdom and the men from the Atrihan Kingdom. After the royal games through out today, the two kings will come back to the castle for a feast so everyone will be occupied with getting the hall ready”.
Wow…
Why didn’t King Lee tell me about this, huh?
“What can I help out with?” I asked distractedly.
She chuckled and got up from the floor.
“Nothing at all..your highness. The maids in this castle are capable to handle any event themselves” She interpolated and I sighed.
What am I going to be doing all day now?

Seconds turned into minutes and minutes turned into hours.
I kept myself busy with the stories i’ve been writing. I really want to finish them and start something that has to do with love. And my inspiration is King Lee.
Does he even know how much I’m affected by his touch? And also, does he love me back?…
This thoughts flowed like a long river through my mind but I suspended my thoughts on hearing the alarm clock Caroline brought for me ring loudly.
I glanced at it and saw that it was already 10pm. How time flies…!
The loneliness was h©rrible and you rather be at the market selling baskets than to be locked up in this four wall room.
I grunted and got up from the bed. The window was wide open so I walked over to it to close it.
I look at the gate which was quite far away.
Lots of cars drove into the compound in a haste. I looked closely at the sight. Isn’t that…the king?….King Lee is back.
King Lee’s pov?
I smirked as the car zoomed into the castle premises.
I turned to my right hand man – Raphael.
“You know the plan…drug all the cups with enough weed. Make sure those rascals don’t suspect a thing. I’ll be in my bedroom. Inform me when the deed is done” I stated and he nodded.
“I won’t let you down, my Lord” He saluted.
I got down from the car and walked straight into the house with few guards marching behind me.

After having a bath, I sat by the table operating my laptop when I glanced at the side where I dropped the gold necklace.
It was there.
Anna didnt take it…
Why didnt she take it???
Dawn’s pov?
I got to King Lee’s doors and met two guards on watch.
“I would like to see the king please” I said smiling.
The guards exchanged glances.
“The king doesnt want to be disturbed” They said coldly.
I felt a ripping in my heart and my eyes melted in disbelief. I batted my lashes like they would help me understand better.
Does this mean I’m just like Simone and Alicia now?…
King Lee have had enough taste of my body and is probably hates me now.
Tonight.
I’ve finally joined the co wives of the king.
I turned and walked away as tears slid down my cheeks.
