CHAPTER 99

Rosario came out of the bathroom, feeling so refreshed and calm.

He saw her sleeping in bed already, and he ignored before wearing black p.ants.

He didn’t bother to wear a shirt before walking to the bed.

He sat beside her and touched her hair, then he started stroking it.

Deep inside him, he knows she drives him ¢razy, but he has decided to keep it to himself.

She kept surprising her everyday, and only God knows where she’s getting the energy from.

His thumb mistakenly brushed her lips, and he caressed it for a while before standing suddenly.

He got himself a bottle of brandy and drank directly from it as he walked to the window.

He rested himself on the frame and stared out, there’s a crescent moon sitting on the sky.

“Crescent” he muttered, staring at it.

He looked at the tattoo at the back of his hand before looking at the moon again, then he drank from his bottle.

NEXT MORNING**

Rosario and Romanio are out of the empire, so they’re nowhere around right now.

Mary finished eating breakfast and made her way to the computer lab straight.

“Lush!, Pierce!” She said cheerfully, impatient to tell the details of last night to Lush, but it seems they’re busy

They both have their faces glued to their systems.

She bit her lip slightly, waiting for additional minutes maybe they’ll be done, but it never happened.

“Baby Donna, I’m so sorry we have to watch the mob throughout today, a spy infiltrated last night and he has to be caught” Lush said, still not looking away from her system.

“We’re busy for now Donna” Pierce said.

“I understand, I’ll just come back” she replied and left the lab sadly.

She’s not close to any other person again but…

“Clyde!” She said quickly, and she was making her way to the apple tree when she ran into Hellcat.

“Cat, hi!” She waved.

Hellcat sighed and smiled lightly, surprising her.

“You smiled!”

“Be careful” Hellcat replied, and she nodded.

“We can be friends.. right?, I really wanna be your friend” she said.

“Stop going ahead of yourself” Hellcat replied, and Mary smiled.

“Ok… but I can say hi like this anytime cross paths”

“Let’s see about that” Hellcat said and walked away.

“Bye Hellcat!!!” She shouted, and Hellcat smirked as she entered the lab.
