Chapter Fifty One
Erica just had a very bad dream. She couldn’t even stand up from her bed. She was shocked to see what happened in her dream.
She started coughing hard and grabbed a glass of water.
“What happened? Who was that?” She murmured, asking herself.
She didn’t know who she saw in her dream. Calvin or Kelvin? One of them got into an accident.
“Black car, white suit…” She murmured and ran out of her room, still wearing her nightie. Her hair was dmn rough but still cute though.
“Calvin?!” She yelled as she ran downstairs. She didn’t see him around. She ran outside and saw that their cars were ready already. They were both black cars and the same brand.
She went back into the house and bumped into Calvin. She looked up and saw his face.
“Oh Calvin! You are alright!” She said and hugged him, tightening her grip round his waist.
“Yeah, I’m fine. What’s up?” He asked as they disengaged from their hug.
“Don’t go Calvin. You are going to get into an accident” she said.
“What accident?” He asked.
“I don’t know! I saw you in a very bad accident and I don’t want you dead..”
“Let’s go brother…”
They both turned and saw Kelvin. He was also putting on the same white shirt. His moustache hasn’t fully grown but some hair could be seen.
She stared at him and back at Calvin. They both got the description of who Erica saw in her dream.
She moved back a little bit confused.
“I can’t tell which of you…”
“Erica… Calm down, okay? Tell us, what happened in your dream?” Calvin asked as he placed his hands on her shoulders.
“I don’t know. It wasn’t clear enough. I just saw one of you in that accident” she said.
“Fine, I know something like that is going to happen but we are so going to try to prevent it” he said.
“You can’t. There’s no way you can prevent that accident” she muttered slowly.
“And there’s no way we can miss the grand opening. Kelvin has to say the opening speech. If he doesn’t make it there, dad’s going to think he’s a f*cking disaster” Calvin said.
“Dad tried to avoid it but the accident still happened. There’s no way something like this can happen” she said. She had no idea when hot tears rolled down her eyes.
“Fine, I’ll use a cab” he said.
“Just like your father used a cab for us. He saved us right…” He said.
“I don’t know. Maybe it was the driver that was meant to die not him”
Kelvin gave a loud groan and walked pass us. He just left and walked to his car. He started the engine and drove out of the compound.
“Oh no Kelvin! Kelvin!” Calvin called back but he didn’t stop. Kelvin wanted to risk his life to win his father’s love by making it to the grand opening.
Calvin tried to follow his brother to stop him.
“I will be back, I’m not going to the grand opening okay? Just stay here and wait for me!” He said and ran into his own car.
“No Calvin! Don’t go!” Erica yelled. She saw that they both didn’t stop. There was nothing she could do.
They almost h!t Ava as she alight from the cab.
She speedily walked into the house and saw Erica crying by the door.
“Are they racing each other?” She asked.
“Ava, please stop them. One of them is going to die” she said.
Ava purse dropped from her hand. She was wearing her beautiful gown for the opening.
“Another dream?” She asked. Erica nodded and stood up from where she was seated.
“Why didn’t you stop them?” She asked, almost yelling.
“I tried but Kelvin didn’t listen, he made Calvin go after him” she said.
“What happened?” Barbie said as she walked into the scene. She was in the middle of her heavy make-up when she heard her brother’s car.
“Your brothers lives are in danger. You have to stop them from going wherever they are going or else, one of them will die” Erica said and sniffed in.
“You saw something in your dream. What? I don’t want anything to happen to my brothers” she said and ran in to grab her phone.
Erica and Ava followed her in.
They all tried calling Calvin and Kelvin back but their numbers were busy.
“Argh!, It’s busy!” Ava groaned.
“Same here too”

Calvin was right behind his brother. He was also trying to call him back.
He doesn’t want his brother to get into any accident because of his carelessness.
“What do you want Calvin?” Kelvin finally answered one of their calls.
“Just stop the car or turn around. Erica said one of us is going to get into an accident and I don’t know what it would cost. Life? arm…I don’t fking want to know” he said.
“I don’t care Calvin. I just have to be at the grand opening, that’s all that matter to me right now” he said.
“Kelvin just…”

“Why don’t you call Calvin to ask him how they are both doing?” Erica suggested.
“Sure, I would” Barbie replied and called his brother.
“Hey Calvin…” She greeted.
“What’s up… Sis?” He replied.
“What about Kelvin?” Barbie asked.
“Uh, he finally stopped. We are heading home soon but…”
“W..sure? Of course. See you soon” she said and disconnected the call.
Barbie gave a loud sigh.
“How are they both doing?” Erica asked.
“They are both fine. I have to go to the company first. You both can reach there later. To be honest, the morning agenda is always boring so why don’t you come later in the afternoon. Trust me, you won’t regret it” she said.
“Sure. I have to fix my hair and nails. I’m glad I have all the time in the world” Erica replied.
Ava remained silent. She knew Barbie didn’t really like her.

“Fine!” Barbie said and rushed to her room and completed her dressing.

Erica was in her room when Ava started asking her questions.
“Don’t you think it’s weird?” She asked.
“What’s weird?” Erica asked and spared her some glances.
“Your dream versus reality… It’s doesn’t work that way. Whatever thing you dreamt of my surely come to pass” she said.
“You’re right but when we try to avoid it, it doesn’t come to pass” she said and did her face treatment.
“Whatever…” She said.

When it was noon, Erica and Ava appeared at the venue.
“Mr Greg is so rich… This is his second company. Woah!” Ava said.
Erica stared at her friend and coughed out a mocking smile.
“He has over than fifty company. In the country and overseas” she said.
“What?” She asked, looking round the new company.
“Come on, let’s go” she said and they head to the hall.
The threw the doors wide open and saw that it was dark.
“Uh.. are we late?” She asked. Ava already knew it was Calvin’s proposal.
“Not sure about that you know” she replied, waiting for it to start already.
Suddenly, there was a soft violin. She started looking round where it was coming from.
Suddenly, the spot light splashed on Calvin.
He wore a beautiful smile as he walked towards Erica, holding the ring box behind.
“What’s going on?” Erica asked.
“Why don’t you just wait and watch..” Ava said and stepped away from Erica.

Erica was still wearing a confused expression. She just watched as her boyfriend walk towards her slowly and with a continuous smile.
He leaned forward and knelt before her.
Everyone gasped. That was when Erica knew that she was at the right place.
“Erica Bruno, you are the woman of my dreams. The one I want to spend my life with. The one I want to bear my kids. I love you Erica, please agree to stay with me for the rest of my life…” He said just as he rehearsed.
Erica shot her eyes and mouth wide open. She couldn’t believe what she just heard from Calvin.
“Ye..yes!” She said and stretched forth her hand.
“Woah!!!” Everyone sprung up and started clapping their hands. The light came up again. That was when he pushed the finger through her finger.
She quickly jumped on him and hugged him tight.
“I’m glad you are safe baby” she said.
Calvin slowly placed his hands behind her.
Ava was clapping where she stood. It was like she’s the happiest of all. As she saw Calvin wrapping his arms around her, she saw something that amazed her.
“What the…” She murmured.

Erica had a lot of interview from journalists that were present there. She had to answer a lot of questions.
Mr Greg and Tracy went round, accepting their guests congratulations.

“Uh, excuse me please” Erica said, finally getting away from them.
“Miss Erica, where did you meet him?”
“Miss Erica, which of the twin are you dating?”
The bodyguards helped her avoid them. She walked towards Barbie and Ava.
“It’s really tiring, there are so many journalists and dumb questions!” She groaned.
“Yeah, that’s how they are” Barbie said and laughed.
“Ha…ha” Ava said and left that place.
“What’s up with her?” Barbie asked.
“No idea. Besides, where isk Kelvin?”
“Bad news… What he tried so hard to get, he didn’t. He wanted to get here first to give the opening speech but couldn’t make it. Dad scolded him so he left town” she said.
“What? Was that necessary?” Erica frowned.
“That’s how my brother is. He would be back soon though” she said.
“Whatever…” Erica rolled her eyes and stared at her beautiful diamond ring.
“Excuse me ladies but I have to borrow my fiancee for some minutes”
“Take all the time you want Calvin” Barbie replied and walked away.

“Calvin, you have no idea how happy I am. This is the most happiest day of my life” she said and squealed happily.
“It’s nothing compared to what I have in store for you. You just wait… I have to introduce you to some business partners. But I have to visit the restroom first. Excuse me” he said and touched her face before leaving.
He entered into the bathroom and stared at his reflection on the mirror.
He rinsed his face and raised it up again. He saw Ava behind him.
“What are you doing here?” He asked.
“I’m suppose to be asking you that question. Why did you propose to Erica Calvin? Or should I say… Kelvin?” She asked and folded her arm.
