Chapter Fifty Nine
Barbie was in the hospital with his brother when she saw her phone ringing. She picked it up and answered the call.
“We have a problem!” She heard her brother’s voice. She sprung up from the chair she was sitting on and walked towards the window.
“What problem?” She asked.
“Erica has been kidnapped..”
“What? How is that even possible?” She yelled as she ran out of Calvin’s room. The doctor that was with Calvin diverted his gaze to her and watched how she ran out of the room.

Ava was in the office when she also received the call.
She had to meet up with him at the mansion.
“Erica… No, no! Who would want to kidnap her?” Ava cried.
Kelvin was making his calls, trying his possible ways to find Erica.
“We can’t track his phone anymore sir. He’s way to smart”
Kelvin groaned and threw his phone on the chair. He brushed his finger into his hair and groaned loudly.
Barbie furrowed her eyebrows and gazed at her brother in a confused way.
“Why are you so concerned Kelvin? I thought you didn’t feel anything for her”
“Oh please Barbie. This is not the time to talk about feelings right now. Erica has been kidnapped by her own selfish brother and I’m sure he’s going to kll her”
Ava chuckled softly.
“Why on earth would George want to kidnap Erica?” She asked.
“Incase you two don’t know. George is the mysterious culprit everyone has been looking for”
“There’s no way I’m going to believe that sh!t okay?” Ava yelled. She was finding it hard to believe what Kelvin was saying.
“You don’t need to. I have proof. George klled his parents or should I say… Adopted parents. Mr and Mrs Bruno adopted a child twenty right years ago and that id!ot was George.
After five years, Mrs Bruno became pregnant and have birth to Erica. They showered her with love and care, forgetting about George. It hurt him so much that he turned bad. He went to club, became a gangster but didn’t let his parents know about it. When he came home one night, he found out his parents were going to will all their properties to Erica and none was going to him, he became very furious and left the house. He then met his friends Mars who introduced him to Tim, he was a truck driver who was assigned to kll the poor couple. Erica had that dream about her parents d.eath but nothing happened positively. He was never interested in the properties but the fact that his parents never loved him like they used to pained him and made him hurt them”
Ava swallowed her tongue and started to cry into a palm.
“I can’t still believe this. I will believe it… When I see it. There’s no way George is responsible for all of this” she said.
“You don’t have to. I have to save Erica” he said and left the house.
“I’m coming with you” Barbie said and followed them behind.

“Let go of me! Argh! You’re hurting me George!” Erica cried as her brother pulled her into an undisclosed location. She had no idea where she was. She was not with her phone.
George pushed her to a chair and tied her up.
“What the fk? George?” She yelled.
“Shut that hole on your face! This is all your fault!” George groaned and stared at his phone. He dialed Kelvin’s number and he answered it.
“George, bring Erica back and let’s settle this man to man” he said.
George gave a mocking laughter and turned to face Erica. He walked towards her and stared carcassing her face.
“You know your fiancee is such a beautiful woman boss and you already know she isn’t my sister. I can do any thing with her and…”
“George! Don’t touch a single hair on her head” Kelvin grinned his teeth angrily as he spoke to George on the phone. George didn’t listen, he trailed his hand to her hair and pulled it.
“Argh!” Erica groaned loudly.
“You heard that, she’s in pain. I just touched her hair, what are you gonna do about it?” He asked.
“Fine, tell me what you want” Kelvin had to say that.
“Now you are talking. What I want is simple, since I’m a wanted criminal, I’d like to be unwanted and… Get the fk out of this country. Also arrange my private flight and a sum of three billion dollars” he said.
“I’ll give you whatever you want. Don’t touch Erica” he said.
George frowned.
“That was too easy. Make it five billion” he said.
“Deal. I’ll give you all the money you ask for” he said.
“Get it prepared. You have Forty Eight hours” he said and disconnected the call.
He quickly took out the sim card and threw it away.

“Were you able to track him?” Kelvin asked his special investigator behind.
“Almost but it’s gone. He had disconnected the line” he replied.
“He’s so smart but I don’t want to outsmart him. I have no idea if he’s with a gun. He can kll Erica with just one shot” Kelvin said and he increased the speed of the car.
Barbie was on the call with her mother.
“Yes Mom, she was kidnapped” she said as she cried over the phone.
“What?” Tracy yelled.
“We are trying our best to find her mom” she said again.
“I’ll send some troops over” Tracy added.
“No, no mother. George is smart, if he finds out we are informing the arm forces about this, he would kll Erica and I don’t want that to happen” he said.
“Okay Kelvin, I’m flying into the country right this second”
“No mom.. mom?!” He called out but his mother already disconnected the call.
“Why do you have to tell mom about this?” He asked his sister.
“She should perhaps know what’s happening. She’s better or do you want dad knowing that you failed to protect your brother’s fiancee?”
Kelvin rolled his eyes. He didn’t care about whatever she!t his father think about him.
“Stop!” His special investigator suddenly said.
“What happened?” They both asked.
“This is where the tracking stopped before he ended the call. We can’t find him here, we have to go back” he said.
“I agree with him. It’s getting late already” Barbie added. Kelvin never wanted to listen to them but he had to. His sister was right, it’s not safe here. He reversed the car and drove away.

Erica was struggling to let herself loose but the rope was way too tight for her. George was laughing as he watched her sister trying to break free. He dropped the can food he was eating and walked towards her.
“Why are you doing this George?” She asked as hot tears rolled down her cheek. She never imagined her brother would do such a thing to her.
“It’s called sweet revenge Erica, revenge!” He said.
“Revenge? What did I ever do to you to deserve this?” She asked.
“A lot. A lot of things Erica, a lot!. You took mom and dad away from me the second you stepped into this world. You took away my joy, happiness and even time. I hate you Erica”
“No you don’t. You love me George, I’m your sister”
“You are not and you will never be! I’m your adopted brother, spell that out really well” George said. Erica held back her tears and lowered her gaze. She sniffed in and raised her head again.
“Fine, you are my adopted brother. Why do you want to kll me?” He asked.
“I wouldn’t have. I wanted to hurt mom and dad but after opening the case on their death. I wanted you d.ead so badly, you are the cause of everything, EVERYTHING!” He yelled.
Erica shook her head.
“You klled them, you are their kller. The culprit was all you” he said.
“Yes, that culprit was all me” George said and started laughing. Erica couldn’t hold her tears anymore. She bursted out, crying.

Ava saw as Kelvin and Barbie walked into the house. She sprung up and walk towards them.
“Did you find her?” She asked.
“No way Ava” Barbie replied and sank into the couch.
“Ah jeez” she slapped her forehead again and found her way to the chair.
Kelvin picked his phone and called his bank manager.
“Yeah, it’s me. I want you to arrange four billion dollars and…” Before he could complete his sentence, Barbie snatched his phone and disconnected the call.
“Are you sick in the head? Four billion dollars? What are you thinking?”
Ava sprung up. She didn’t know what she was going on. She wondered what they were doing with four billion dollars.
“What should I do?! I don’t want him to kll Erica. If she’s gone, what would I do?” He yelled.
“Why are you so concerned about her? I thought you didn’t have any feelings for her?” Ava asked.
“Yes, I said that but I love her. I love Erica a lot!” Kelvin said loudly. Barbie and Ava shook their head.
“You are unbelievable Kelvin, yes you are” Ava said.
“I don’t care about what you say. I love her and…”
“And what? What? You personally said you didn’t love her and here you are talking about love. Erica loved you, yes, she did. After you rejected her, she had to also reject you” Ava said. Kelvin took a step backwards and brushed his fingers into his hair.
“I had to idea she did. She only asked me if I loved her, my brother…”
“That doesn’t mean you can’t confess to her…”
Kelvin heard his mother’s voice and turned to stare at her. It was evident that Tracy also noticed everything just within the short time she spent with them.
