?MASON’S P.O.V?
I finished cleaning up the sitting room, dusting every corners, then I decided to go to the empty rooms first.
I walked into the first one, i guess no one stays here cox they aren’t any clothes, shoes whatsoever!
I walked into the second and then the third.
Yep, someone stays here, it must be the quiet and cool one.
I looked at the whole place, admiring her sense of fashion.
I saw one glass cup, so beautiful, curiosity got the best of me. I carried the cup, and took a proper look at it, when I thought I heard someone coning, so I quickly tried to drop it back in place, when it fell.
Oh my go$h! I true to console myself.
“she is cool one, be calm. She’ll understand it was just a mistake”,I said to myself.
Just then, someone cracked open the door, my heart skipped a bit.
Its those two gals. I blocked the broken cup, and stared at them.
“what just happened here?”,the one with a gum in her mouth asked.
Mhen, I need to know their names.
“nothing”,I replied and lowered my head.
“well if you say so, cox whether you tell us the truth, jus hope you actually did nothing cox if Bella comes back and find one of her stuff missing…..hmm, you’re dead meat. Why am I even telling you this, you didn’t do anything right?”,she asked.
“yes”,I replied, frightened.
Am dead meat?? She seems calm, those words sent shivers down my spines. I gulped in saliva.
That means I really need to replace this stuff before she gets back.
Go$h! I quickly packed up the broken pieces, its broken beyond repair, I need to buy a replacement, but I ain’t got the money.
Josh…. My good friend josh! No phone….
I ran downstairs, and brought out the paper I wrote some important people’s contact.
I called josh!
“hey bro”,I whispered.
“who is this?”,he asked.
“its me, Mason. Pls can you meet me at G-store with some cash?”,I asked.
“anything for you friend!”,he replied.
“thanks, pls never call this line again”,I warned.
“sure thing”,he replied, and i dropped the telephone down.
I heaved out a sigh of relief.
“what do you need money for?”,someone asked, my heart skipped.
I turned slowly, thinking of what to say.
“uh…I didn’t have any clothes, so I want to go for a little shopping”,I lied.
I lowered my head, so she won’t try to kill me like last time.
She smirked. ”who bought you such expensive clothes?”,she asked, as she walked two metres close to me.
“my friend”,I replied.
She let our a hmmm. “be back before noon”,she said and went back upstairs.
Pheeeeewwww! I touched my chest, before I quickly ran out.
.I met him, and he handed me a suitcase. I opened it……cash! Cool!
“thanks dude, I’ll pay you back”,I replied.
“oh…no need”,he replied, tapped my shoulders, entered his car and zoomed off.
“a friend indeed”,I said to myself
At least this money might be enough, and then the remaining will be for my upkeep..?
I will be in so much trouble if I don’t get a replacement and go back on time.
I walked into the store, lo and behold…. I jus sighted the cup. It looks exactly the same.
I ran to the counter.
“pls give me that cup over there!”,I said in form of a plea.
”oh this one?”,he pointed.
“yes!”,I replied with certainty.
He opened the draw, and brought it out.
”Its really expensive sir!”,he replied.
“how much?”,I asked.
”$450,000″,he replied.
Geez! A bundle of cash is wrapped from $100, 000
That means, the money Josh gave me is enough
“pls don’t give this to anybody….do you have any closet?”,I asked.
“at the back”,he pointed.
I rushed quickly and brought out 450,000.
I walked back. “here!”,I handed, and he wrapped up the cup.
I heaved, and rushed out to buy some clothes for myself.
I boarded a cab home, and I saw Bella entering the gate?………….?
