Chapter 10
I walked around the room checking everything out while Hayden was in the bathroom.
“Why will be paint the room brown?” I scoffed. He doesn’t have taste at all.
Few minutes later, he came out of the bathroom wearing a singlet and a short.
I walked past him and went to the bathroom. I was wowed when I entered the bathroom. I removed my clothes and got under the shower. When I was done, I took the blue towel on the hanger and wrapped it round my body. I went into the closet.
My clothes was arranged already at the right while his were at the left. He scoffed. He has lots of suits and tuxedos.
“Such a boring man” I huffed and was about to take my pajamas when my eyes widened.
I am going to be sleeping in the same room with Hayden. Wearing my pajamas is really dangerous.
I took a white turtle neck and blue jeans and wore it. I smiled satisfactory and left the closet and entered the room.
Hayden was on the bed operating his laptop. Does this guy have respect at all.
Working on our wedding night.
He looked up and gaze at my dressing.
“What are you wearing?”
“Clothes obviously” I rolled my eyes.
“How would you feel comfortable sleeping like this?” He inquired.
“And why do you care?” I snapped at him. “Unless you have some motive” I looked at him closely.
“What?” He looked confused.
“Never mind. Just mind your business” I said and looked at the bed. It is large enough.
I walked to the bed and laid on the rear side. There was a large space at the middle and I was satisfied.
I peeked at him and his concentration was on the laptop.
He closed the laptop and drop it on the drawer beside the bed and faced me.
“What?” I asked.
“Huh?”
“Why are you looking at me like that?”
He said nothing and looked at my dressing again and back to my face.
“Are you sure you will be comfortable in that?”
“You definitely are planning something” I accused.
He just rolled his eyes and laid on the bed and closed his eyes.
I heaved a sigh of relief and closed my eyes too.
He should better not try anything funny.

“What are you doing?” I screamed seeing Hayden on top of me.
“What husband and wife are supposed to do” he simply replied.
My jean zip were loose my him already. “Let me go please. I’m not ready yet”
“But why are you playing hard to get?”
“I am not. I am just not ready.”
“I wouldn’t hurt you, I promise” he said softly.
“I am not saying you will”
“Then why are you denying me of my right”
“Having sx with me isn’t your right”
“Of course it is”
“It isn’t”
“It is”
“I said it isn’t!” I snapped at him.

I jumped off the bed sweating. I looked at my cloth immediately and it was still as I left it.
What a weird dream!
I looked beside me and Hayden was still asleep. I touched my heart and it was beating heavily.
I just laid on the bed with widened eyes. I didn’t know when I slept off.

*THE NEXT MORNING*
I opened my eyes slowly and stretch my body. I looked beside me and couldn’t find Hayden.
Where did the j erk go?, I wondered.
I entered the bathroom and closet and he wasn’t there. I quickly took off my clothes. It was h’ll sleeping in turtle neck and jeans. I brushed my teeth and took my bath. I wore a white top and red trouser and left the room.
I got to the living room and two maids were cleaning.
They saw me and greeted me.
“Where is Hayden?” I asked.
“He left the house about 30 minutes ago” one of them answered.
“Do you know where he went to?” I asked
“He was dressed up for work” she replied
He dare to go to work on our wedding week. Well, I don’t care.
“What’s for breakfast?” I asked instead

After breakfast, I sat in the living room scrolling through different channels. Everything seems boring. This house is so boring.
My phone started ringing. It was Tiana. I picked immediately.
“Hello” i saId.
“Hi baby” She said cheerfully.
“Will just go straight to the point. How was it?” She asked and I scrunched my brows confusedly.
“How was what?”
“You know what I am talking about. Stop pretending” she said.
“I really don’t know what you are talking about”
“Arg! I mean how was sex with Hayden? Was it painful? Was he gentle? Did you cry? How many rounds did you go?” Tiana bombarded me with questions.
I started coughing.
“Calm down baby. I know you are shy” Tiana said.
“What, What, nothing happened”
“What do you mean nothing happened?” Tiana asked.
“Because nothing happened” I rolled my eyes cringing at how we are repeating the same words.
“Why? But you guys are married”
“That doesn’t mean we would have sex”
“But you slept in the same room?”
“Yes” I replied.
“And nothing happened?”
“Yes”
“I don’t believe you.”
“Would I lie to you?”
“But how is that even possible? Or is he with you right now? That why you can’t tell me”
“No, he left for work” I said.
“Work, this is your wedding week for Christ sake!”
“He is a je rk, I know” I sighed.
“I agree. Let me know if anything happens this night”
“Nothing is ever gonna happen”
“But you know it still will right?”
“I won’t allow him” I scoffed. I definitely am not letting him get on top of me.
“I hear you. Talk to you later. My mom needs me” she said and hung up.
I continued changing channels not seeing what I want.
EVENING….
It was almost 7pm when I woke up. I can’t believe I slept all day.
What boredom can cause.
I missed lunch and I am so hungry right now. I opened the room’s door and almost immediately bumped into someone.
I looked up to see Hayden. I moved away from him and shot daggers at him.
“Am I safe?”
“No” I replied instantly.
“I am like so hungry right now but I want to talk to you first”
“Go ahead” he said entering the room fully and stood in front of me.
“I need my own room” I said.
“Why?”
“I said it yesterday. It is inappropriate” I replied him.
“You are my wife” he said and I cringe.
“Can you please not use the word. ‘Wife’ “ I requested.
He was about to say something but closed his mouth back and then said. “You can’t have your room” he turned to leave and I dragged him back for Forcefully.
His expression changed and he moved closer to me. I moved bank and he started moving closer.
“What are you doing?”
My back hit the wall and he placed one hand on the wall and looked at me.
“I just want you to change my room. Nothing else” I said nervously as he was so close to me.
He didn’t answer me and started moving his head closer to mine. His lips were only few inches from mine.
I closed my eyes and was expecting the feel of his lips on mine even I heard his voice.
“I thought you said you are hungry. I didn’t know you meant you are hungry for me”
