CHAPTER 10
King Neheb and his wife, Lady Moreen are seen in their room, discussing about the tests.
” This isn’t just an ordinary test Lord Rodriguez has set up for the girls. We do not know what he is up to next. ” Lady Moreen stated.
” Enya winning the first test had made me think she will win the second too, but it did turn out to be Anna. Can we predict who the next winner would be? ” King Neheb suggested.
” Who do you think? ”
” Since Enya and Anna has win the previous test, then it means Arwen wins the next. ” He guessed.
” I have a faint cold fear trill down my veins. I am not sure if it a good one or not. Hopes are to dangerous to trust. ”
Many questions come into her mind. What if? How will? What will? They were just many of them that she cannot explain.
” What is it that you feel?” King Neheb asked her, holding her shoulder.
” Do you think Enya will be chosen?”
” Why do you say so?”
” Yesterday at the banquet hall, I saw the way he stared at Arwen. Not only that, he also asked for a walk with her. ”
” You think he might end up with Arwen? ”
” Yes. ”

It was close to nightfall when Enya woke up from sleep. She walked into the bathroom from a shower, walking out with a different dress.
She glared at herself on the mirror, changing position over position of her hair.
She has been wondering what tommorow would be and how to end up winning them.
” My Lady,” her maid called from the outside.
” What is it, Nancy?” She asked, still staring at the mirror.
” Dinner is yet to start.”
” Oh, I will be on my way.” She exhaled heavily.
To Enya’s disappointment, King Rodriguez wasn’t dinning with them tonight. He had decided to go to bed early tonight.
” Where is Lord Rodriguez?” Anna asked.
” Sorry girls, Lord Rodriguez is greatly tired and he has decided to take a rest. Until tomorrow, the next test will begin. ” She looked at her husband as if she was waiting for him to give her a go ahead.
” I am so excited for you girls. You did impressed me though, you weren’t considered in today’s winner. ” She said to Arwen.
” I pray for a good result from one of you.” Looks at Arwen. ” What do you think about Him? ” She asked, referring to Lord Rodriguez.
She shrugged. ” He is indeed good as everyone do say about him. But I think I still have a lot to know about him. ” She said before putting the pancake into her mouth.
” Anna, how did you get to know about the painting of the couples under the moonlight? ” Their father, King Neheb asked.
” I saw it at the ball hall on the day of the ceremony, so I thought it would be nice if I present another to him. ”
” I am impressed, dear. ”
” And to you, Enya, what makes you think he loves rabbits? ”
” I love rabbits, they are my favorite animal. ” She smiled. ” I thought I should make one for him. ”
And for the rest of the night, Enya haven’t faded the smile off her face. Having a rabbit as her favorite animal and seeing that the Young Lord did love it too…
That was the most exciting thing to her.
She slept late that night unlike her. She had been sitting by the edge of the window, staring out to nowhere.
But she ended up falling asleep at twelve midnight.

Anna held her long gown a bit high as she climbed up the staircase. She mistakenly stepped on the edge of her dress, losing her stand.
She almost fell to the ground but got hold by a hand. Her heart was almost out of her chest, but when she looked above her shoulder to see the one who had save her was Lord Rodriguez.
She felt a bit embarrassed but quickly hid it with a smile. ” Thank you, Your Highess.”
” It’s nothing.” Anna almost collapsed when he offered her a smile.
She never knew this was how it felt being in love with the one who could make your heart tumble several times.
His beauty was in its high peak, it seizes her breathing each time she was staring at him. And this time he was with her, standing right in her front and those sweet scents that left his body….
