Prologue
Pamela got mistreated by her husband Simon..

EPISODE 1
Pamela… Pamela ! Someone shouted from outside as he ran into the building.
Pempem what is it? Pamela asked catching her breath from the shock.
Pamela I think Simon wouldn’t be coming home early today. I heard him tell one of my customers. Pempem said excitedly
OK but you sound excited about it… Pamela said jovially
Of course now we can make your hair before he gets back… Hurry we should go make your hair. Pempem said swiftly and Pamela quickly went out with him and locked the door. They headed for Pempem’s salon.
“Simon doesn’t allow Pamela make her hair or get new clothes or even look like a human being.. she’s so unkept and all messed up like she committed a huge crime in her past life”
Pamela made her hair and came back in the evening with the thought that Simon isn’t going to be back anytime soon but luck wasn’t on her side. She saw Simon at the door glaring at her with a furious eyes, Pamela became very scared because she knows what that evening is gonna end up like… She would get beaten up black and blue just because she went out.

How I wish Pempem came along with me.. I muttered in my mind nervously
Pamela! Simon screamed at the top of his voice, I could feel his fuming right inside my unborn baby… Simon shouldn’t do anything hurtful to my baby..
Simon am sorry … I said in a shaky voice nervously and he bounced on me, pun¢hing me like a pun¢hing bag… I screamed and cried but no one came to my rescue.. My only hope that moment was Pempem but before I could know it my water broke and immense pain gripped me…
Simon please take me to the hospital.. the baby is on the way.. I winced but he turned deaf ears as he continued pun¢hing me and I heard Pempem yell from behind before I could get hold of myself everything became blurry and dark….
I opened my eyes and saw nurses around me with Pempem..
Pempem being a very close friend of mine really meant alot to me..
Although he’s g.ay… But that doesn’t matter.
Pempem where are my? I asked looking around and the pain in my abdomen continued
Thank goodness you’re conscious now… The nurses have been trying to make you gain consciousness. He said smiling
Where’s Jeffrey ? I asked faintly in pain..
I know very well, Simon would wanna get hold of him now that you’re not at home but i took him away so he wouldn’t end up getting hurt like you. Pempem added
Nurse please take her to the delivery room… She’s in so much pain. Pempem said anxiously.
Ahhhh! I shouted in pain and the nurses moved me to the delivery room.
It’s time for her delivery. One of the nurses said alerting the doctor.

I was panting around the hall way waiting impatiently for the doctor to come give me an update at the waiting room..
Excuse me are you the patient Pamela’s relative? One of the nurses asked
Yes… I hope there’s no problem? How’s Pamela and the baby? I asked nervously
She’s fine and one of the babies is fine. She said
One of the babies… Are you trying to say they’re two? I asked curiously smiling
Yes.. we’re having a little difficulty with the other baby but we will wait till five minutes,if the baby doesn’t show any sign of coming out. We’ve to operate on her so you need to go sign some documents. The nurse said
We don’t have that much money for an operation.. I pray you deliver safely. I muttered in my mind.
Some minutes later the doctor came to the waiting room.
Are you Pamela Remirez relative? He asked looking at his file.
Yes doc. I said anxiously
OK… Pamela Remirez have been transferred to the ward but am sorry we lost the other twin. He said politely and left.
I know Pamela will be in a distress right. I said and rushed to the ward.

My baby am sorry i didn’t give you the best treatment.. I wished to but your father never allows me to go out… Am so sorry. I said crying heavily as I pecked my died baby. Pempem rushed in.
Pamela am sorry for you loss.. the doctor told me already. Pempem said sadly
Ma’am It’s time for me to take the corpse to the seminary. The nurse said and I pecked my baby for the last time then handed the baby to the nurse.
Why does this have to happen to you…. You haven’t even been to this world and you’re gone already.. I cried out as I watched the nurse go out.
It’s OK Pamela.. everything happens for a reason so It’s OK. Pempem consoled
Baby… Am your godmother and your godfather.. my name is Pempem. Pempem said smiling as he carried her on his arms.
Pempem where’s Simon? I asked still sobbing
I called him but a lady picked the call and she said Simon is busy. Pamela won’t you move to my place because am very sure Simon won’t spare our little princess when she grows up… Is that the kind of life you want for your children. Pempem said seriously
Simon will never set his eyes on my daughter neither would he ever see Jeffrey again. I said seriously as i wiped off my tears.
That sounds more like you… You’ve had enough of that ba$tard husband of yours. He cur$ed.
What would be my goddaughter’s name? Pempem asked smiling
Joanna Remirez. Pamela said seriously with a smile.
