CHAPTER 57

Avery hugged her knees as she sat on the floor, crying her eyes out. Her face was already so red from tears but that didn’t stop her from crying.
Right now, she felt stúpid and uséless. How could she possibly think that he’ll love her when all he’s obsessed with is Monica, someone who doesn’t even feel a thing for him.
Yesterday she went to his house to ask him out on a date but found the house so she decided to wait and that’s where she found the key which she took and went in his house.
The kss really took her by surprise but due to her feelings for him, she gave in… Thinking that perhaps he felt same thing for him only to wake up and be this heartbroken.
The door to the small house creek open and Ash went in. This small house is actually their hideout, him Ursula and Monica. They usually came there to chat and relax.
“Sula…” Ash called, looking around.
Ursula looked up with a puffy face and that’s when Ash spotted her. He walked to her and knelt down in front of her.
“Sula, what’s wrong?” He touched her shoulder.
Ursula just hugged him and began another round of tears. Her shoulder shook as she cried..
“I’m stúpid Ash… So stúpid” She cried.
Ash just hugged her, rubbing her back to calm her down.
“It’s okay, please stop crying” Ash hushed her.
That went in for few minutes before Ursula stopped crying. She broke the hug and hugged back her knees..
Ash sat down next to her, next to her..
“Tell me… What’s wrong? What happened?” Ash asked.
Ursula sighed and opened her mouth to speak..

The Watterson**
“She diéd… Just like that?” Raymond asked.
Angelo sighed and nodded before leaning on the chair he was sitting on as they watched Stephanie and Scarlett swim at the pool.
Nathan was busy playing checkers with Jayce while Melody watched them and Monica and Jackson where having an important discussion with Julia and Arnold.
“Chloe Hadley.. That’s her name right?” Raymond asked and Angelo nodded.
“Could that kid possibly be responsible?” Raymond wondered and looked at Angelo.
“Be careful with the people around you… And protect your girlfriend as much as you can” Raymond said.
Angelo looked at him in confusion. He just nodded and looked front. Raymond did the same too.
“If that kid is responsible for this murder then I think I need to handle that kid,,, personally.” Raymond thought.
At the living room**
Monica and Jackson were sitting next to each other, looking so nervous while Arnold looked at them both intensely.
“So you said you both are dating…” Arnold said and crossed his legs.
“Yes uncle” Jackson replied and swallowed nervously.
“And you guys realize you’re too young to be dating right?” Arnold raised a brow.
“Too young? I’m 17!, I’ve seen lots of people dating at 15” Monica blurted out
“Monica…” Julia warned
“Sorry” Monica pouted.
“Do you love her?” Arnold said
“Very much uncle… Since we were small” Jackson replied
Arnold looked at them again for a while. He closed his eyes and opened them, smiling widely.
“Well okay, I give you guys my permission to date” Arnold said.
Monica and Jackson smiled widely, feeling relieved.
“On one condition… You two aren’t allowed to have sx till Monica turns 18” Arnold said.
“Dad…” Monica drawled, feeling embarrassed.
“Okay uncle” Jackson chuckled.
“All my babies are growing too fast.” Julia pouted.
Arnold pecked her cheek and smiled.
“Don’t worry, I’ll always remain your baby forever” Arnold said.
“Arnold! The kids are watching us!” Julia said, blushing.
Monica and Jackson laughed while standing.
“We’ll join the others at the pool” Jackson said, holding Monica’s hand.
They both left..
Julia’s face immediately fell and changed to that of worry.
“Don’t you think it’s time to tell them the truth?” Julia said.
Arnold sighed and pinched his brows..
“I don’t think we should tell them” Arnold said.
“What if they find out? That’ll bring chaos amongst them” Julia worried.
Arnold just pulled her in for a hug before kssing her forehead…

Hideout**
Ash sighed and leaned against the wall. He ran his hands through his hair after hearing from Ursula what happened.
“To he honest with you, I don’t blame Skye at all… I blame you, you acted really dúmb Sula” Ash said.
“Yes I know” Ursula pouted.
“One thing you need to know is that you can’t force love. No matter how hard you try you can’t change the way someone sees you or feels towards you. Love can only díe or grow but can’t be changed. From the onset, Skye told you he only sees you as a friend but you went ahead and acted all stubborn now look at where it has landed you” Ash scolded her.
Ursula just looked down and bit her lips, fighting back her tears.
“What do you plan to do now” Ash asked.
“I don’t know Ash… Right now, I just feel uséless and I don’t know,, i don’t know what to do” Ursula shook her head, letting her tears out.
Ash sighed and pulled her closer for a hug. He gently rubbed her hair as she calmed down… Silence was what reigned as they stayed like that.
“Ash, tell me do you still,,, have feelings for me?” Ursula spoke, breaking the silence.
Ash stayed quiet for some seconds.
“You were really my first love and to be honest with you I nearly went m@d when I found out you like Skye. I loved you in a way I never thought I’ll love someone” Skye said.
“But…”
“But all that was in the past.. I thought I’ll never get over you but a pretty blonde came to my life and changed everything. She gave a brighter color to my life…” Ash smiled
Ursula smiled too.
“I’m glad, I don’t deserve your love.. You deserve more better, someone like her.” Ursula said.
“Yeah but I’m sure she must really be sad and mad right now” Ash said.
“Why?” Ursula looked up at him.
“I kinda left her and rushed all the way here when I got your call” Ash said.
“Have you gone nuts? You should have stayed with her! She must be misinterpreting things!” Ursula pushed him away.
“What? You were crying on the phone? What if I hadn’t come and you resorted to klling yourself… My conscience wouldn’t have take it” Ash shrugged.
“You’re right…” Ursula bit her lips.
“I’m fine now, please go back to her” Ursula said and smiled.
“You sure?” Ash asked and Ursula nodded.
He stood up, same as hers. Ash spread his arms and she went to his embrace..
“Take a break… I suggest you leave the country to free your mind” Ash whispered to her.
“Thanks bro” Ursula smiled.
They broke the hug and Ash winked before leaving. She smiled as she watched him leave..
“It’s really nice to have friends… I feel bad for neglecting them, all because of a guy” Ursula pouted.

Night,
Andrew walked down the lonely streets leading to his house while humming a song. He brought out the key to his apartment when he got home.
Andrew opened the door of his house and went, closing the door back. Places were dark but he already knew his way around.
He walked to the living room and switched on the light. He jolted when he saw someone sitting on the couch, staring directly at him..
“Raymond?”
Raymond smirked and shook his head before crossing his legs.
“Nice way of addressing your elder” Raymond said.
“What are you doing here?” Andrew crossed his hands on his chest while frowning.
“Sit, I wanna have some talking with you” Raymond said gesturing him to sit on the couch directly opposite his..
“Just get out of my house!” Andrew rolled his eyes.
“I should be cuddling with my girlfriend right now but I came up all the way here. I hàte doing things for nothing so sit down kid…” Raymond smirked
“Who the fk do you think you are!! Just because you’re rich doesn’t mean-”
Andrew swallowed back the rest of his words when Raymond a gvn at him.
“Sit…now” Raymond smiled.

The Kendall’s**
Tara was busy doing her homework when suddenly she heard the doorbell ring. She stood up and went to see who it was.
She stopped by the stairs when she saw Tony already opened the door. She raised her brows when she saw a masked man entering the house.
“What are you doing here??” Tony gasped.
“I’m here to discuss with you. I have a nice plan” He said and removed his masked.
“Tony who’s he?” Tara finally spoke
Tony turned and faced Tara with a surprised look on his face. The man turned to face Tara too.
Tara furrowed her brows..
“Mr-”
