CHAPTER 69
“So where should we go to next?” Gavin asked, he was the one driving them.
“I wanna hang out with Charlotte. Kinda miss her” Iris pouted.
“Yeah me too” Kimberly said.
“Then it’s settled then. I’ll drop you at Charlotte’s house before going to Maxwell’s” Gavin said and made a U turn, heading to the Charlotte’s house.
“Have fun! Will come pick you girls later” Gavin said and winked at them before driving off..
They both turned to the huge house in front of them.
“I’m scared..what if he dislikes me. I’m partly the reason why his daughter left the country” Iris muttered.
“Dont worry babe. Mr Baxter is a nice man,, well sometimes I don’t understand him but he’s cool” Kimberly said and rang the bell..
The guard came and opened the gate for them, welcoming them warmly…

CANADA**
“I’m sorry okay…C’mon, smile for me.” Ricardo said and kssed her forehead.
Valentina scoffed and looked away, still with her arms folded. Ricardo chuckled and cupped her cheek then kssed her pointy nose.
“I’m sorry love” He said sweetly.
Valentina looked at him for a while and sighed then finally smiled. Ricardo stood up and heaped her up in his arms before walking out of their room.
“We have just three days to spend here” Ricardo said.
“Yeah, I’m gonna miss this place” Valentina pouted.
“Me too, let’s enjoy the remaining days left” Ricardo smiled.
While they went to the living room, Logan and Kristina were at the kitchen preparing their dinner…
Kristina looked at Logan as he was concentrated in slicing the onions and vegetables. She chuckled at how much he was concentrated…
Kristina walked to him and wrapped her arms round his waist.
“You will make a great hubby and a great father” Kristina said in a cute babyish voice.
Logan placed back the knife on the chop board before turning to her. He lifted her up and placed her in front of him, standing in between her th!ghs..
“Yeah I know, I’ve been practicing really hard hard since the day you said yes to me” Logan smiled.
“Awn..that’s cute. I still can’t believe I’m getting married in two months time..” Kristina said, staring at the ring on her finger.
“Well I can’t perfectly believe it..as long as that person is you” Logan smiled and leaned closer then kssed her.
His hands immediately went under her shirt, pressing her bbs. Kristina gasped and quickly broke the kss.
“Naughty hubby! We’re the ones to cook tonight and besides have you forgotten about Ricardo and Valentina..” Kristina said..
“Dinner can wait and besides I locked the door” Logan smiled, kssing her.
“Can’t it wait for tonight?” Kristina chuckled..
“Nope, a man gotta do what he has to do” Logan whispered, pulling her top from her body.
“You better give me twins or else…” Kristina slammed her lips on his, rubbing her hand on his thing.

THE BAXTERS VILLA**
Iris and Charlotte laughed loudly, falling on the bed while Kimberly frowned. Well they were playing a game where each person will ask the others question and they’ll say only the truth.
Kimberly just told them about the incident involving Maxwell at Gavin’s room.
“For real? Gavin is really màd!” Charlotte laughed loudly.
“That’s not funny guys.” Kimberly said.
“Well it is…you claim you don’t like Max but you were there, expecting him to kiss you” Iris smirked.
“Kim, it’s obvious you like him..why don’t you just give him a chance before it’s too late. Don’t be like me…” Charlotte said.
Kimberly looked at Charlotte and began thinking hard.
“So who’s next?” Iris said.
“My turn…so what’s the most craziest encounter you had” Kimberly asked.
“Well mine is the day I met Luca for the first time. I got hit by his car and he saved me, he was kinda the person that talked some senses into me and turned me to be this bold” Iris said, remembering that day (refer to chapter 9).
“Well as for me is thay crazy encounter with some dude… He helped me catch the thief who took my phone from me. Think his name is Kaden or something like that.” Charlotte said.
A knock suddenly came up on their door.
“Miss, the president’s son is here” The maid said.
“Guess Gavin is already here to pick you guys” Charlotte said.
“Yeah, let’s go” Kimberly stood up from the bed and wore her shoes before leaving. The other followed behind..
“Babe” Iris smiled and kssed him.
“Stop oppressing us” Kimberly pouted.
“Yeah” Charlotte agreed.
They chuckled and said their goodbyes to Charlotte before leaving. Gavin dropped Iris home before driving to his house..

MORNING, CANADA**
*Phone Rings*
“Fk! Whose phone is that! I want to sleep” Valentina groaned and buried her head under the pillow.
“It’s yours…just answer it, me too I want to sleep” Ricardo whined.
“No!” Valentina snapped.
Ricardo groaned and picked Valentina’s phone with a frown on his face.
“What?” Ricardo snapped..
“Wow, looks like I called at the wrong time” Iris chuckled. Gavin bought her a new phone as promised yesterday…
“Oh Iris, how you doing..” Ricardo said.
“I’m good Ricardo, how’s Tina? I’m sure she’s still snoring and she forced you to pick up” Iris chuckled.
“Well you know already your sister” Ricardo looked back at Valentina who was snoring cutely…
“Yeah.. So I just called to wish you two a happy New Year” Iris smiled…
“Oh it’s already New Year? Well thanks, wish you guys the same too” Ricardo smiled, standing up from the bed.
“See you two in two days time. Bye, take care” Iris hung up.
Ricardo kept back Valentina’s phone and unplugged his laptop from charge before going to sit on the bed with it.
“Hey babe…wake up! Let’s video chat Myles and Minnie then wish them a happy New Year” Ricardo tapped Valentina.
“Awwn….” Valentina whined and sat up with sleepy eyes.
Ricardo chuckled seeing the look on her face before launching the video call. It rang for some minutes before his mother picked up..
“Good morning mom” Ricardo smiled.
“Morning…mom” Valentina yawned and rubbed her eyes.
“Morning my favorite couple… Myles! Minnie, come greet your parents.” Harlin said.
Sounds of someone running where heard and shortly, Myles and Minnie came to view.
“Happy New Year mom and dad!!” Minnie and Myles chorused.
“Happy New Year my twin angel…miss you two so much” Valentina gushed.
“Me too mommy” Minnie pouted..
“So what do you guys plan on doing today?” Ricardo asked.
“Nothing much, we’ll just take the kids out” Harlin replied.
“Yay!!!” The kids rejoiced.
Ricardo chuckled again…
“Okay. Minnie, Myles, you two behave okay? Don’t give your grandparents a hard time” Ricardo said.
“Yes daddy!”
“Alright, bye!” Ricardo and Valentina waved.
“Bye! We love you!”
Ricardo ended the call and turned to Valentina who was smiling..
“I can’t wait to see those my two babies. Miss them so much!.” Valentina smiled
Ricardo stood and went to place the laptop back on the table before coming to Valentina. He scooped her up in his arms…
“Let’s go have our bath. Myles and Minnie aren’t the two ones who will have fun today.” Ricardo smiled, entering the bathroom with Valentina.

MAXWELL’S APPARTMENT**
Kimberly got down the cab she took to reach here. She looked at his house and smiled.
Well Maxwell lives alone since his parents are still back in Korea. She looked at the packet she had in her hand before heaving a deep breath.
Well she thought about what Charlotte told her over and over and with the help of Gavin, she came up with a conclusion…to tell Maxwell about how he feels.
This is actually her first time coming here and honestly, the place is beautiful.
She walked to the door and rang the bell. It was not long after when the door opened.
Kimberly furrowed her brows when she saw it was a girl who opened it. A very pretty girl with cute dimples..
“Good morning” She smiled.
“Good morning” Kimberly replied, rather sourly.
“You came to see Max? Well he’s in his room.. Let me call for him, please enter” The girl smiled and went upstairs to call Maxwell.
Kimberly frowned even more as she felt jealousy consume her.
“Who’s that girl? What’s she doing here?” Kimberly wondered.
“There she is!” She heard the girl’s voice and saw her coming downstairs with Maxwell who was shirtless. Just with that, she concluded things.
“Kim? What a surprise!” Maxwell smiled.
“I’ll be going now. Bye Max!” She smiled and pecked his cheek before waving.
“Bye Julie!” Maxwell smiled and closed the door before coming to Kimberly.
“What’s wrong? Did you miss me so much that you had to come here” Maxwell teased.
Kimberly rolled her eyes and glared at him.
“Sorry I interrupted your ‘special meeting’. I’ll leave now” Kimberly snapped and made to open the door but Maxwell pulled her back.
“What you talking about?” Maxwell said with a smile playing on his lips. He already knew where she was heading so he wanted her to land.
“Oh please?! Just quit the act! Here I’m I thinking that you have changed when in reality you’re still the same, all you think about is pssy nothing else.” Kimberly pushed him away and made to open the door but Kimberly pulled her back and caged her against the door.
“And who said I was fking her? The name ‘Julie’ doesn’t it ring anything in your head” Maxwell smiled.
Kimberly began thinking and then gasped when she remembered. She completely forgot that Julie was his cousin who lived here. Now that she thinks about it, they resembles a lot.
“Oh…” Kimberly said, completely embarrassed..
Maxwell laughed shortly, seeing the look on her face.
“Think I should make you jealous really often. You’re a whole lot of drama.” Maxwell chuckled.
Kimberly bit her lips and looked elsewhere. Maxwell held her chin and made her face him.
“What should for you to stop doubting my love for you, for you to know that I’m serious about us” Maxwell smiled.
Kimberly just stared at him in the eyes. She slowly parted her lips.
“Kss me” She said it in a hurry.
Maxwell lifted her chin up and leaned closer to her. He kssed her with his fresh mint breath caressing her face.
Kimberly dropped the gift she had and slowly brought her hands to his hair. Maxwell held her waist and pulled her closer to him.
Kimberly broke the kss and stared at him as a beautiful shade of red crept on both her cheeks.
“I…I love you” Kimberly whispered to only his hearing.
Maxwell smiled and traced her eyebrows.
“This is the best gift someone could offer me today. Do you wanna be my girlfriend?” Maxwell asked.
Kimberly nodded with a smile.
“I love you too my stubborn cutie”
