Three days later * Johnson’s mansion
The maids could be seem moving everywhere in the sitting room and in the kitchen, mere looking you will know something special is going to happen, actually this is the day the Fernando’s are going to visit Mr Johnson to finally talk about the engagement stuff, the table was set so neatly, foods of different types and kinds were on the table,, everything looks so enticing

Some cars soon drove into the compound and Mr Fernando came out with his wife and their daughter Mia, Marcus got down after they all got down
He shared a glance with Mia and both of them winked at each other
They all went into the house together, the maids welcomed almost immediately directing them to the have their respective sits
Shortly Mr and Mrs Johnson were informed about their arrival, they both went down stairs with a happy smile on their face, but only Mr Johnson is smiling genuinely cos his wife was only faking it, she is not happy about the whole thing
” Oh, Mr Fernando, welcome to my house ” Mr Johnson said, stretching a handshake
” I am honored to be here Mr Johnson ” He replied
” Mrs Johnson,, you are looking more cute and beautiful, how are you ” Mrs Fernando said
” I am doing good and thanks for the compliment ” She replied
” Greetings sir and ma ” Mia said, bowing a little, this altitude of her is being influence by Marcus
” Hi pretty ” Both of them said simultaneously
” You should have called us father in-law and mother inlaw instead ” Mr Johnson said
Marcus angrily looked away immediately
Mia smiled seeing the angry look on Marcus’s face, she has come to realised she is definitely in love with him,, but she doesn’t know if he share the same feelings, she regret ever agreeing to this engagement
Her heart don’t skip a beat when ever Brandon’s name is mention,, but the name of Marcus always make her heart miss irregular beats
” Let’s move to the table ” Mr Johnson said and they all walked to the table and sat down
” Call Brandon from his room ” He said to a maid
She rushed upstairs to Brandon’s room and knocked gently on the door
” Who is that ? ” He asked
” Sir Brandon, your dad need you downstairs ” She replied
” I am coming ” He said and she left
” I guess they are here ” He said and left
He got downstairs and his eyes couldn’t believe who he was seeing, the girl he met at the restaurant, who gave him her number and pecked him
” Could she be the one ” He thought
Mia expected her heart to react but strangely she felt nothing, if it was back then her heart would be busy thumping so hard now
He walked to the table and didn’t even bother greeting anyone
” I am here ” He said uninterestingly
” He is even more handsome than I thought ” Mrs Fernando said
Brandon looked at his mum and she quickly bent her head down
” Let’s eat ” Mr Johnson said and they all began eating, talking randomly

After the meal **
” The engagement date will be fix soon ” Mr Fernando said after the meal
” I want it to be magnificent and expensive ” Mr Johnson replied
” I will be in my room now ” Brandon said and stood walking to his room
” You should follow him, so you both can have a private talk Mia ” Mrs Fernando said to Mia
She stood up and followed Brandon to his room
Marcus balled his fight annoyingly
He can’t pin point why he is only angry and jealous about anything concerning the engagement of Mia
” Am I in love with her ? ” He muttered
Brandon walked in to his room closing it behind him, everything that went down there was so annoying to him, his door suddenly opened and Mia walked in trailing it with her eyes
” You didn’t know how to knock ? ” He asked icily
” You got a nice room ” She said ignoring his question
” I know, what are you doing here ? ” He asked
” To talk with my future husband ” She replied
He suddenly faced her holding her shoulders
” Let me be truthful to you, I don’t love you and I will never ever get engage to you, I already have a girlfriend who I love so much, so get that already ” He said harshly
” Ohh, I am sorry to burst your bubble, I don’t like you that much, I am in love with someone else,, just doing this cos of my parents wish ” She replied
” You want to please your parents even at the expense of your own happiness, You’re really stupid you know ” He said
” What !! ” She gasped shockingly
How dare him called her stupid
” How dare you ” She said pointing a daring finger at him
” This pairing can’t work out between us, get out now ” He said coldly
” Ba$tard, such arrogant and rude j.erk ” She spatted and left his room, out side the room she came face to face with Selene who is just coming back from where ever she went to
” Hey ” Mia said, it seems she had seen this face some where
Selene looked at her up and down with hate and faced her directly
” The rude girl at the bouquet.. I guess you’re the girl my dad is forcing my brother to get engage to, but let me give you a piece of advice, It won’t work cos he already have a girlfriend whom he loves so much ” She said and moved in his room
” They are both crazy, I now remember where we meet, could that bch be his girlfriend,, I am only doing this cos of dad ” She said descending the stairs.
