We were all settled down to hear what my mom has to say, this time Alice was around,She was completely speechless when she saw me.
“So all this time Hazel has been with us and we didn’t even know” Alice kept looking at me.
“I have always thought that I would never see Hazel ever again, that she died but I didn’t know i was actually dating her” I took Jasper’s hand and kissed it.
“Guys,You two know very well that Zorons and Paragons don’t meet eye to eye,Do you think your relationship will be accepted?”
“I don’t really care about that,all i want now is to see my brother and my father”
I saw how Jasper’s mom became uneasy at the mention of my father.
My mom finally came downstairs with a box and the drink,She sat down beside Jasper’s mom.
“That’s the drink you always force me to drink whenever i wake up, What’s in it?”
“That’s the witch’s portion” Jasper said and My mom nodded.
“That’s true,The witch’s portion is a drink that erases memory of any supernatural being,It also suppresses your powers too”
“Why,mom? Why?”
“I had to do it so that you would be able to blend into this new world, When Asgard was under attack, I had to run to earth”
“What of dad and my brother?” She looked at Jasper’s mom who just looked away.
“Mom, answer me”
“Asgard and Ostoria have always been at war, the Zorons and Paragons never get along because…
“Because my father was always jealous of Hazel’s father,My father is ruthless and wicked and Hazel’s dad was so kind and a good king to his people”
“Jasper’s right,We have had wars with them but this one was unexpected,The Zorons caught us unaware,They killed men, women and children,It was h0rrifying to hear the scre@ms of children being sl@ughtered.
Your father asked me to look for you and your brother but as i was going to look for you, Jasper’s father killed your…Haxely,He killed your father infront of me and kidnapped your brother” She bursted into tears,While I stood up, shocked and heartbroken,My father is dead and my brother..Jace.
On that day,I snuck out to play with Jasper at our secret hideout but during the course of playing,we heard screams and Jasper left me to back to his kingdom.
I started running back to my mom but when i saw her,She grabbed my hand and told me to run really fast.
“So..so you are saying that my father is dead and Jace might also be dead too”
“Yes,am sorry I kept this from you,I just wanted to protect you,am really sorry”
Jasper tried to touch me but i moved away,His father killed my father out of jealousy.
“Babe,i..i swear I didn’t know about that,I swear to you”

I have always known that my dad was a wicked man,He killed anyone he wanted without remorse and i hated him for that and i hated him more because he tried to force I and Alice to be like him.
When my mom couldn’t take how wicki he was, She took us and ran away, the same day the war broke out.
Now,I get to find out that my father killed Hazel’s father, everything is going to change between us, She’s so heartbroken.
I tried to touch her but she moved back, She looked hurt and shattered.
“Babe, please let’s just talk about this” She turned away from me, then suddenly she used her powers to run super fast.
“Hazel!!” I chased after her,She was heading into the forest,I couldn’t get to her because she was faster than me,I had to stop because i lost track of her.

I walked back to the house, Everyone was waiting for me.
“Where’s she?” Her mom asked,i ran my hands through my hair.
“I couldn’t find her,She was so fast”
“Hazel’s powers are super strong,She proved that so many times when she was little,am just scared because she hasn’t used her powers for so long”
“Hilda, She’ll be alright but she’ll probably hate me and my children because of what my husband did,Am so sorry” My mom consoled Hazel’s mom.
“I don’t want her to hate,We knew nothing about what our dad did, Jasper, Please bring her back” Alice and i shared a hug.
“What’s that?” We all turned our attention to what Hazel’s mom was pointing at,A black hole was suddenly opening up.
“Someone is passing through the portal” Alice held on to me tightly.
“Who could that be?”
Someone came out of it and the portal closed,It was a guy,He was tall but he looked familiar, he looked like Hazel.
He looked around,his eyes landed on Hazel’s mom.
“Mom?” The guy moved closer to her, trying to touch her but she moved back.
“Mom, It’s me.. It’s me,Jace”
