?ALEX POV ?
“What is wrong with you? Why are you behaving this way” Sarah said as she followed me to the balcony
“Its nothing, I just want to be alone now” I said
“But why? I came here to be with you,So you won’t be lonely” she said
“Do you really think that I want you here?” I asked
“Of course, You don’t think that its improper that you and Melanie should be the only ones here”
“We weren’t doing anything Sarah!”
“Well it doesn’t look that way to me, I think that Something happened and …….”
I drew her close to me and kssed her, This is the only way to make her believe me
And besides I didn’t want them to know that Melanie is the same as the one from seven years ago
At least not when Francis is around,I brought him here.
So we can mend the fight between the two families
What will happen once he knows that Melanie is the one I fell for years ago and that I Still love her now
“Wow you two look good together” on hearing Francis voice, I released Sarah
I starred at them and saw her there with Francis
I didn’t miss seeing the jealous look she had on her face
If she is jealous then it only means that she feels the same about me, Could there be some sort of hope for us,I thought as I starred at her
“Wow Sarah is even blushing” Francis said smiling at Sarah
“Stop with your teasing Francis” Sarah said as she held unto my arm
“This is not teasing, This is saying the truth,Right my love?” Francis asked as he starred at Melanie
“Yes,You both look good together” She said gently,Putting a fake smile on her face
“Okay enough with the reuniting thing, Why don’t we both chat and you show me around and we leave the ladies to cook” Francis said
“But I don’t know how to cook” Sarah said
“Melanie can….. ” Francis and I both said together and the two ladies starred at the both of us
” She urrrrrrgh cooked for me last night and she can definitely teach Sarah here, One or two things “I said quickly
” That’s my girl, Isn’t she just perfect” Francis said pulling her to him
It took me a whole lot of effort to stop myself from pulling Francis from her.
“Yes she is” I found myself responding
“Okay then, Let’s go cousin” Francis said pulling Me away
MELANIE POV
“Wow, You really are a great chef, You should teach me how to do this too” Sarah said as she starred at the food
“Well it only takes a lot of time But If your really set on learning it, You will need a teacher”
“But you can be my teacher right?’She asked
” No I can’t, I will be going back soon” I said
“But you can stay for a while longer”
“I can but I can’t, Apart from coming here with Francis, I have a life of my own and Its calling me” I said
Lies, A life of my own which certainly doesn’t needs me now,I thought sadly
I Still need to leave and Its for the best.
If I don’t go, Alex wouldn’t give up this crazy thing.
I haven’t talked about it with Francis but As soon As I get the chance, I would tell him and then I would leave this place for good
Alex belongs to his wife and I with Francis
And that’s how it should be,I thought as I served the food
Just then they both walked in smiling, I stared up at them and I felt my heart beating fast
It certainly wasn’t beating for Francis Because whenever I stare at him, I will feel nothing
But Alex,It kept beating until they got to us.
I must not be feeling this for him, Francis is my main priority here and He will keep on being
“Did you enjoy the walk with Your Cousin” I asked as I did the finishing touches
“Yes I did, It was perfect and good, I really like this place” Francis said as he came to hold me from behind
I knew What Francis is doing, He is trying to show Alex that I belonged to him and looking at Alex angry face only shows that it is working
“Honey, Melanie made all this yummy food,Common let’s start eating” Sarah said pulling him on the chair
Soon we all began to eat ,” See I told you that she is the best when It comes to cooking ” Francis said
“You sure are right Francis And its a pity that you would be leaving soon” Sarah said breaking out the news
“Your leaving?” Alex was the one who asked this
“You didn’t tell me my love” Francis asked
“I just made up my kind a while ago,I was going to tell you about it” I said
“This is a private matter that will be discussed by the both of us and that would be later,For now let’s just eat” He said.
As soon as we ate finish, He went off with Alex to discuss some very important stuff,While Sarah went to her room
The Queen can’t wash dishes, That was her response when I asked to come help me with the dishes
I was still washing the plates when someone hugged me from behind
“Francis,Am really busy,Let me finish this in peace” I said
“Don’t go” on hearing Alex voice,I turned to stare at him
“Don’t leave because of me” He said
“I have to leave,I don’t want any problems between you and Francis,Please let me go Alex” I said
“No,It took me a whole lot of effort to ditch Francis just to come here to you And I won’t let you go now” He said
“Alex let me go,Your wife is upstairs,She mi……”
“She is already asleep,She wouldn’t notice anything,So don’t worry” He said and pulled me close
“Alex this has to stop”
“We can stop seeing each other but we can’t stop what we feel for each other,I love you and you love me,I won’t let you go Melanie, Never” He said and kssed me and instead of pushing him away, I pulled him close.
Unknown to us,Francis was standing by the door staring at us
He kept on kssing me and when I tried to pull away he held me tightly and carried me on the table
