CHAPTER 6
“Why do I have to sleep there?” Annalise asked, she came back home and her dad suddenly told her to sleep over at Zane’s house
“He’ll be your husband soon” Smith replied
“Stop saying that, I don’t wanna marry someone that him, he’s annoying and scary”
“With time you’ll get used to him”
“I hate that word and I hate you, mind you I’m not going anywhere” Annalise screamed storming upstairs…

Zane came back home and was surprised to see Annalise huffing angrily
“Why are you here?”
“Don’t ask me that” Annalise snapped
“She’s going to be staying with you until you both get married” Sandra said from the dining table
“What??”
“I don’t wanna stay either” Annalise muttered
“I know you two will get along well, you both have a lot in common”
“The hate” Zane and Annalise said at the same time
“I’ll see you both tomorrow” Sandra said and left with her personal assistant
“Show her to her room” Zane said to the butler and went upstairs
“This way ma’am” the butler said with a calm voice, he took Annalise bag and went upstairs and she followed
They got to the second floor to the right and stopped in front of a huge door
“This is your room ma’am” the butler said opening the door, he kept Annalise bags in front of the wardrobe and left without saying anything else apart from “please come to dinner when you’re done freshening up”
She stared at the huge empty room, it was painted purple and blue, her favourite colours
She went into the huge bathroom that was like the size of her room back at home, she immediately freshened up and went down for dinner in her pyjamas
But Zane wasn’t there, he didn’t even show up the dining felt too empty, she went back to her room to watch a movie
“I feel like watching a horror movie” she muttered, “this place is boring”
But watching that ho.rror movie was a bad either because she found herself in front of the room the butler had pointed to be Zane’s room
She breathed out and knocked on the door softly, gripping onto her pillow tightly, the door opened after few minutes revealing Zane shirtless
He stared down at her
“What are you doing here?” He asked
“I’m sure you know this is not your room”
“I know but please can I sleep here tonight?”
“No” he replied shortly intending to close the door but she held it with her small hands
” please, I just watched a horror movie and I’m sacred right now” she pleaded looking at him with her huge doe eyes
Zane groaned and opened the door wider, she smiled and walked in, she held onto her pillow and feel on his bed
“Who said you could sleep there?”
“Well I’m a guest so I should sleep here”
“Then where am I supposed to sleep?” He asked
“You could still sleep here, the bed is big enough afterall” she shrugged and covered herself with the thick quilt
Zane just stared at her breathing in and out trying to contain his anger, who brought this think to his house??
