CHAPTER 8
“I forced him to” Annalise bit her lips
“So what exactly are you doing here?” Zane asked
“I just wanted to come see you the house was boring and quiet” she replied
“Ohhhh” Gary wiggled his brows at Kai
“This is my company, you don’t expect me to leave work and babysit you” Zane snapped and Annalise flinched
“We’ll see you later bro” Gary tapped Zane’s back gently standing up, he left shortly with Kai, Cindy left also
It was just Annalise and Zane, Zane was glaring at her while Annalise bit her lips
“Stay here and don’t move, I have work to do” he finally said stood up going to his desk
“Alright” she replied and went to the couch
Well as she could be hyper active most times she didn’t stay still, soon she started moving around and Zane was too busy to notice until he heard something crash
He looked up immediately and Cindy also ran inside, she had also heard it from her desk that was outside Zane’s office
It was the most expensive item in Zane’s office, an old Chinese vase and it worth almost a million dollars
Annalise stood there looking guilty she had even injured herself with it, something snapped inside of Zane
“What the h’ll were you doing there?” He growled
“I just….. I just wanted to take a look at it and… And it slipped off my hands…. And.. and”
“Now you’ve injured yourself with it… How much more careless can you be?”
“I’m sorry..” she muttered biting her lips
“Cindy take her to the infirmary and get her treated” Zane said
“Ok sir” Cindy responded leading Annalise outside
Zane groaned and roughed his hair
“Now I have a bay to take care of” he muttered, the cleaner came in to clean the bI.oodstained tile.

?? I heard she broke boss’s favorite Chinese vase
?? So careless
?? I imagine what he’d do to her
“Are you three that jobless to the extent of gossiping about the boss’s fiancee?” Cindy asked from behind and the three girls who were talking turned to her startled
They immediately bowed
“We’re sorry”
“Take your sorry asses to your desks” Cindy snapped and they all ran off, she went to Zane’s office
“Sir, she had been treated and is taking a rest now” she said
“Thank you” Zane said and Cindy went out.

Annalise came back to Zane’s office when it was time to go home, she fumbled with the hem of her shirt lightly while staring at him as he finished his last work, his face was serious and handsome
Now that she stated at him a little more closely, she could see how seriously handsome he was, he had a glass resting at the top of his nose bridge
“It’s time to go” Zane said standing up from his desk
Annalise stood up slowly following behind him, he took long strides with his long legs and she was having a ad time catching up with her short legs
“Hey wait for me” she yelled running behind him but he didn’t stop
“Are you trying to mock me now?” She asked but he still didn’t reply
They got to the elevator and it closed,he stared ahead without saying anything
“I’m sorry for earlier” Annalise apologized again
But he ignored her
“I won’t happen again I promise” she pleaded
“There won’t be any again” he said with a serious face and she immediately quieted down.
