CHAPTER 9
They got to the underground parking lot and Zane got into the car, Annalise followed and they drive off.
The drive was silent and boring that Annalise kept sighing
“Can you stop that?”
“Huhh what?” She asked
“Stop that sighing thing”
“Oh sorry” she mumbled and kept quiet
But the car was suddenly too quiet, Zane turned sideways and found her asleep, he scoffed and face forward
They got to his house and he stopped at the parking space, he faced her
“What do I do with you?” He muttered, he didn’t want to wake her up so he came down and walked round to the passenger’s seat where she was
“I’m doing this just this once” he carried her out in a bridal style and took her upstairs
“Good evening sir” the butler greeted but Zane shot him a killer glare and he immediately kept shut
Zane kept her on the bed and turned to leave but she held his hand tightly
“Don’t go” she muttered in her sleep
“What?, You also sleep talk?” He scoffed but she didn’t let go
“I really am sorry” she muttered again
“What is she muttering about?”
“I’m careless but I’m really sorry I broke that”
Zane quieted and stared at her, he sat down beside her and she continued sleeping still holding his hand…

Annalise woke up and stared around as the sun rays fell into her eyes, she turned and came in contact with a hard chest
She stared at the face, it was Zane, she closed her eyes and shook her head before opening them again, he was still there
“Why is he here?” She asked herself
She poked his cheek slowly but he was still asleep
“Is he that tired?”
She stared at him again,white flawless skin, sharp Jawline, tiny pink lips, her eyes travelled to his unbuttoned shirt, his chest was broad and white
“Why is he so cute?”
“Are you done stripping me naked with your eyes?” He said with a deep hoarse voice
“I… Uhh..” she didn’t know what to say as she had been caught red-handed
He sat up and glared at her
“What did I do this time?” She asked in her tiny voice
“What exactly were you doing with the vase?” He asked
“We’re still on that?” She muttered biting her lips “I know it’s your favorite but I’m really sorry”
“I wanna know” he insisted
“I just wanted to take a closer look at it and it slipped off..”
“Are you sure you didn’t do it purposely?” He asked with squinted eyes
“No no” she waved her hands shaking her head
“Good” he said walking out of the room
“Even if I wanted to break something, it’ll be your head” she mumbled but he stopped turning back to her
“What did you just say?” He asked
“I said you are a very nice human” she smiled squinting her doe eyes,he stared at her suspiciously before he continued walking, bit he turned again at the door
“My eyes are on you” he said pointing his two fingers at his eyes and hers, then he finally left
“That little….” She cursed kicking her short legs in the air “someday when I’m tall enough, I’ll bend his serious a$s and give him some spanking”

Later, Annalise came down for breakfast but she saw few people walking around, with creased brows she walked to the butler who was giving them the order
“What’s the commotion about Mr. Butler?” She asked
“It’s your wedding today Miss Ford” the butler replied
“Oh well, that’s true” she nodded in realization “but where’s Zane?”
“He went to work”
“He went to work on his wedding day?” She asked
“I know right?, That boy’s a real pain in the a$s” Sandra said from behind and Annalise turned.
