“What?” Cassandra asked when she heard him mutter
“Nothing ma’am, I’ll think about your offer” he said
“Good, I want you to always keep me updated as usual not a single word or action forgotten to left out, you hear me?”
“Yes ma’am” the butler said
“Where are they anyway?” Cassandra asked again
“Master Zane took Miss Ford to school, she’ll be starting her final exams today
“Wow, he took her, they’re progressing afterall” she giggled and the butler had an urge to facepalm himself
“Just keep giving me updates Smith alright?”
“Yes ma’am” the butler replied and Cassandra finally hung up the call
The butler breathed out, talk about having a full time gossip as a boss, talking and gossiping is her love language like this woman is ready to fly halfway across the world just for gossip

Zane’s car stopped in front of the gate, Annalise breathed out and turned to him
“How long will it take to write your exams?” Zane asked
“Three weeks” she replied
“Three weeks?” Zane asked
“It normally takes a month or even more but they kind of made it a bit shorter and easier for us, they want us to enjoy our summer”
“Okay” Zane nodded
“Wish me luck”
“Goodluck” Zane said
“No you should not say goodluck when tells you to do so, you should say something negative like break a leg, you know somethings like that” she said and Zane nodded
“Okay, forget your answers” he said and Annalise widened her eyes
“Why would I forget my answers, say something else”
“Tear your answer sheet?” Annalise shook her head
“Insult the invigilator?” She still shook her head
“Forget it Zane, I’ll see you later” she made to go out but he stopped her
“Lisa goodluck” he said and she smiled
“Thank you” she leaned in, kpssed his cheeks and ran out of the car
Zane raised his brows, well he didn’t expect that
“Wow, Okay” he muttered smiling
He started the car and drove off.

Zane was working seriously when his door opened and Annalise came in with Layla
“Zane” she called and he looked up
“You’re back” he said and she nodded going over to hug him
“And they’re falling in love” Layla breathed out softly
“Did you say something?” Annalise asked
“No no” Layla shook her head
“Well I have a part time job waiting for me, see you later bestie” Layla waved and walked out, she could still hear Zane and Annalise murmuring
“Did you write well?” Zane asked
“Yes” she nodded
“Good” he smiled and ruffled her head
“Yep, cvrse my single ass” Layla muttered.
