CHAPTER 46

After work hours, Frenchie got into her apartment, it was dark, she slowly she found the switch and flicked it on

She flicked as she saw a figure smoking on her couch, it was Carlo

“Welcome home” he smiled

“Carlo?, What are you doing here?” She asked and he stretched a phone to her

“Boss is on the line” he said and she slowly too the phone from him

“Hello?” Came her voice

“Why the fk are you wasting my time over there doing nothing” Lex thundered and she flinched

“I’m trying to gather as much information as I can boss”

“For how long?, You think I’m stupid?” He yelled again

“No boss, trust me I’ll give you all of my informations by the end of the week” she said

“You had better, it’s funny at how patient I am with you on this, you better not screw up Lincoln” he warned and hung up the call

“You better not screw up Lincoln” Carlo repeated before leaving

Frenchie gave his back a middle finger, she sighed and sat on her bed

Fuck this stupid job, she needed to give Lex information by the end of the week, she immediately got a pain and a notepad

She wrote down Gary’s passcode, she suspected that room would hold lots of information and she was going to find it

“Oh I’m so hungry” she whined when she heard her stomach grumble, she went to her fridge but it was empty, only crackers and a bottle of beer

“Well the counts as dinner” she said taking them

She was too lazy and at the same time busy to go for grocery shopping, her house was literally empty

After her little dinner she stripped and walked to the bathroom for a cold shower

“Hmmm” she mo..aned when her skin came in contact with the cool water, it felt nice

Back to her job, she needed to create an opening and it seems his little sickness might be a way, she also needed to get close to Zane and Kai

But they were too cold and their guards were also up apart when they’re with Gary …

Frenchie’s eyes widened when she realized

“Layla and Annalise” she muttered and smiled

It seems those two were actually very useful afterall….

“Don’t you have papers to write today?” Zane asked when Annalise came into his office with Layla

“No” Annalise shook her head “I’m hungry” she pouted

“But you came from the house, why didn’t you eat at once?”

“I wanted to eat here” she said and Zane sighed looking at Layla.
