Layla got there on time,she immediately went to the back where she met the lady in charge, the lady smiled when she was Layla

“Oh you must be Layla Lincoln”

“Yes ma’am” Layla said

“Oh you look so beautiful, I’m Gina the assistant manager”

“Nice to meet you Gina” Layla smiled, she already felt comfortable

Gina had a very likeable personality

“And here are your colleagues, you’ll get to know their names soon enough”

“Also, here’s the shirt and you should be strictly on blue jean pants with the cap” Gina said giving Layla the shirt and cap

Layla immediately went into a room Gina had pointed and changed into what they had given to her, thankfully she was wearing jeans so she fit right in, after changing she met them outside again

“So you’ll be attending to the first person that comes through the door” Gina said and immediately someone came in

Layla opened her eyes in shock when she saw Kai, his face was cold as usual

“Is it necessary?” She asked forcing a smile

“Yep, that’s the doctrine here” Gina nodded “go take his order, or don’t worry about his order he’s a regular just take a cup of coffee without sugar”

“Okay” Layla said and one of the workers gave her the cup of coffee

Layla stared at Kai who stared at her lazily without any emotions on his face, she started walking slowly towards him

*You’re cool Layla you can do it* she kept muttering in her head until finally she stopped in front of him

“Your coffee sir” she forced a smile and Kai slowly took it from her

She turned to leave but tripped on nothing and fell backwards on Kai, obviously the coffee spilled on his blue shirt

No!, No!, No?, No!, Nooooo!!!!!

Not today, not in óúi coffee, her ray of hope

This Kai he is the reason for all of her badlucks, now she was gonna get fired even before she started working

But she won’t let them tell her that she was fired, when she leaves this place Kai will definitely pay and she would go back to her dad

She stood up

“That’s it, where’s my stuffs?!” She screamed….

“What do you need your stuffs for?” Gina asked

“Aren’t you firing?” Layla asked back

“It’s not up to me, it’s up to my boss” Gina replied

“Who’s your boss?” Layla asked again

“Him, Mr Kai Brian” Gina said pointing at Kai who stood up, one of the workers rushed to him with a paper towel, cleaning his shirt with it

Layla slowly turned to him, he was taller so he looked up at his cold face,

H..him?, Kai was the owner of this cafe?, Seriously?
