Alex pov
I ignite the engine of the car and drive out from the school premise, the school is okay at least my money is not going to be waste.
My phone ring and I connect it to the earpod in my ear
“Alex there’s problem” Kehlani said immediately I pick the call
“What’s wrong?” I asked
“Father is sick and he wants to see everyone including you, everyone is present at home we’re all waiting for you so change your direction and come home right now” she replied
I hold the wheel as I change my direction make a U-turn
“I’m on my way” I said and she cut the call
What could be wrong right now

I enter his room and I saw everyone in a different corner with a worried look. Isabel sat on the bed next to father holding his hand. kehlani sat on the floor resting her back on the wall.
Lucia stood in front of him, my step Brothers Harris and Harry stood on the couch in father’s room and my mom sat on the stool and rest her head on his bed
“Good day father” I said and everyone turn to look at me except from Harris
I talk to everyone except from Harris who always see me as his enemy but the person I’m close to is kehlani
“Welcome son” my mum said and I just nod my head
“What’s wrong you said you want to see me” I said
“Son your father is terminally ill and he has just 60 days left on Earth” mom said
“An illness?” I said
“I have cancer” father said
“I can treat it for you, I will invite the best doctor in the world” I said
“Here comes our superhero” Harris said and I glared at him
“I wanna make my last wish and I want you guys to do it” father said
“Stop saying negative things you are not going to die” I said
“Just in case, Harris I want you to bring your fiancé home and she’s going to live here and Alex bring your girl home and she’s gonna live here too” he said
“Father I don’t have a girlfriend” I said
“What about Rachael?” Mom asked
“She’s just a fling” I replied
“I can’t even allow her to marry my brother” Isabel said
“Right she’s a devil reincarnate” Lucia said
“And she’s scary with that her artificial face” kehlani said
“You girls should shut your mouth” mom said.
She’s getting angry, she gets angry whenever we speak ill about Rachael I don’t know what this girl have done to my mom
“And why should they shut up, they are saying the truth” I said
“She’s disgusting and irritating” Harry said as he glance at my mom to see her reaction, she did not react
“I don’t know how you are going to do it bring your wife home or else I will cease your doctor license and strip you off your rights” he said
“Is it serious?” I asked
“Very serious, I must see her before this week end so next week you will do your wedding” he said
“I’m not interested” I said as I walk away but stop when I heard a voice
“Just know your license and rights is on fire” he said and I just roll my eyeballs as I trace my steps out of the room
Where do he expect me to find a bride, I’m not even ready to be a married man

Lily pov
“Eliana wants me to introduce Alex to her” Lila said as she cleaned her face with a cleanser
“And what was your reply?” I asked
“I agreed what do you expect” she replied
“Lila do you know what you are doing” I said
“Lily stop this nonsense, I’m tired and sick of all this” she half yelled
“It’s not your fault” I said I stood up from the bed, carry my jacket and phone then walk out of the room
I’m going to teach that bitçh a lesson, I will force her to reveal her true color and stop pretending to us especially to my sister
I saw my mom sleeping on the couch while the TV is on, I went to her to carry her duvet and use it to cover her body very well
“I love you Mom” I muttered silently.
I tip toe out of the house, I brought out and call Yuri immediately I left the house
“Yuri where’s Eliana?” I asked
“She’s in the club house selling her body” she replied and I cut the call
I board a taxi, she’s in the club house $tripping again for those rich men. She’s rich and she can’t even give or borrow me money to treat my cancer what a stingy girl. I don’t mean she should give me everything but she should at least give me something if we’re truly her friend
“Ma’am we’re here” the taxi man
I paid him and get down from the car, I stood in front of the club and I saw some people making out outside while some were kssing, it’s just 8 and people are much like this….
