The atmosphere between them was quiet and tense as they drove home. They couldn’t bring themselves to start up a conversation
Dean drove into the compound and they both alighted from the car before proceeding into the house
Dean cleared his throat. “Hope you didn’t forget about the dinner with mom” he asked and she nodded
“Do you have any thing to wear for the dinner?” He asked again and she smiled widely. She was happy he was Caring for her in the little way he could
He was trying to be nice but it kinda looked stupid to him.
“Why don’t you come pick one for me” she replied and held his hands pulling him towards her room
He looked at their interlocked hands and inhaled. Her hands felt soft and warm on his
They got to her room and he looked around enjoying the scent of pomelo emitting from her.
“Are this all your clothes?” He asked staring at her clothes on the bed which weren’t more than than ten
“Hmmm… This are just the good ones” She replied a little bit embarr@ssed
“Let’s go get some for you then” he said
“It’s fine.. you’ve done so much for me already” she said
“I insist”
” But… alright then” she smiled and took her phone from the bed. She made to take a step when she stumbled on her second leg and started going down
She held unto Dean’s shirt, pulling him with her and they both landed on the b.ed together with Dean on top of her.
Time stopped as they stood still staring at each other.
Dean’s eyes stayed glued on her li-ps which were calling out to him. He was trying h@rd to resist the temptation of slamming his li-ps on hers and kzzing those sxy li-ps till they get swollen
She bit her li-ps slightly and that action alone drove him ¢razy
He quickly stood up from her and she did same
“Errmm,,,, I.. we…” He stuttered continuously before exhaling
“Meet me downstairs ” he said and quickly dash out of the room
Kaylan left the room too and they both drove to a private mall.
Minutes later, they were done and they started walking over to the cashier
“Isn’t this too much?” Kaylan asked looking at the five bags each of them were holding
“Mom will get mad if I don’t take care of you” Dean replied as they got to the cashier
“Welcome sir Dean” The cashier greeted and he nodded before pushing the bags towards her
“$300k sir” the cashier replied and Kaylan g@sp
“Dean that’s too much” she whispered to him but he ignored her and gave the cashier his card
“Take them to the car” he turned to Kaylan and she nodded slowly before leaving
“Your wife is pretty” The cashier said giving him back his card
“Thanks” he smiled at her and walk out of the mall
He met Kaylan leaning on the car door with teary eyes
“Are you okay?” He asked
She sniff back her tears and hug-ged him at once. He stood still as he watch her
“We’re on the road. You shouldn’t be doing things like this in public ” he whispered to her
“I won’t be opportuned to do it at home cause you won’t let me” she said still hugging him
His eyes surveyed the area and he realized people were already taking pictures of them.
“kaylan, they are taking pictures” he said but she didn’t let go and he didn’t want to push her off either. He didn’t want to be harsh on her
“Can we go now?” He asked dis£ngaging from the hug
“Hmm” she nodded happily

“Collins will be home any moment from now and we will all be going to see mom for the dinner” he said and slump on the sofa, exhausted
“Alright, I’ll take a quick nap,,, I’m damn tired” she said and started climbing the stairs
He watch her till she was out of sight before heaving a sigh. He leaned back on the sofa and before he knew it, he was fast asleep

Kaylan laid on her bed and kept tossing from one side of the bed to another while reminiscing about her moment with Dean
How he fell on her and how she couldn’t stop staring at his li-ps
“I must be crazy” she laughed loudly like a psycho. She felt her throat becoming dry
She checked her bedside table but the gl@ss was empty
She stood up from her bed and started proceeding downstairs. She got into the kitchen and poured herself a gl@ss of water which she gulp down in one go
She left the kitchen and met Dean sleeping uncomfortably on the sofa. She sighed before Walking over to him. She positioned his head well before brushing his hair backwards giving her the full view of his face
“He’s cute” she muttered s£nselessly as her eyes settled on his thick brow down to his natural long lashes which were even longer that hers
” How can one be so perfect? He looks so cute even in his sleep” she muttered again.
He was looking so innocent that she started to wonder where he got his cold attitude from

Her hands traced his full brow admiringly and he immediately snapped his eyes open
They lock gaze and she batted her eyelid continuously as she felt her heart flutter. She took in her lower li-ps and released them almost immediately while staring at him
