‘It’s like she’s a whole new person!!’..Martin exclaimed as Claire sat next to her best friends after exchanging pleasantries with Mr Mogul…
The woman i left in the court was wearing a biker’s jacket and her normal boots with discolored hair now the woman I’m seeing in wearing the sxiest red gown I’ve ever seen,heels and perfectly blonde hair…
‘I’m pretty sure that isn’t your wife’..Clarice whispered and I gulped hard..
‘Of course that’s Claire are you blind??’…i snapped and she frowned deeply…
‘Well she…she changed’…..
‘Yeah,yeah she did’…
Minutes later
I couldn’t concentrate on the party and the toast that was being made my eyes were just on the woman sitting two tables away from me….
‘Why on earth did she come??’..i blurted out loudly…
‘He’s Mr Mogul,everyone important comes to his—Oh hi Mr Mogul’..Martin cut off the conversation as Mr Mogul walked up to us….
‘Ohhh Martin and Hi Gray,i see your wife came uhhh who is this??’..He asked stating haughtily at Clarice..
‘She’s my plus one,happy birthday by the way’..i replied raising my glass to him and he smiled…
‘Thank you,we have a pretty woman in our midst Gray and every man is drooling after her tonight,Don’t let it go to waste Mr Popular,make a baby’..He whispered and Martin snickered…
‘Ohh I’m late i think i should be going home’…Clarice spoke up already embarrassed at the way he treated her and before i could say anything she was already out of the Hotel..
‘You heard what hw said Mr Popular,at least someone else apart from me notices the sexy lady which you’re about to divorce and called a pig’..Martin retorted and i rolled my eyes…
Claire’s POV
‘He can’t take his eyes off you’..Mark whispered and i laughed…
‘Ohhh don’t be silly Mark he doesn’t notice me at all,I’m ugly to him remember??’…
‘You think?? Well think again’..Emma said and when I turned around my eyes my eyes met with his…
I quickly looked away and stood up to walk towards the bathroom…
I stared myself in the mirror and couldn’t help but smile at the mirror…
This is me!!…
For the first time in my life i feel like I’m enough…
I know I’m enough!!!…
‘What on earth do you think you’re doing??’..i heard and jolted only to see Gray at the doorway…
‘The last time I checked this was the ladies room so that question should be redirected to you’…I replied and he smirked..
‘Right…But you didn’t answer the question what do you think you’re doing??’..He asked again…
‘I am not doing anything Gray,now please if you’ll excuse me Mr Mogul and I would like to have dinner later’…I snapped and walked out..
‘Claire…you’ve changed’..he said from behind me..
‘Yeah I’ve changed’..
