Claire’s POV
Mr Mogul just knew about my birthday yesterday due to Emma and Mark who are both bent on matching the both of us together…
I left the Gray in the kitchen so I wouldn’t see his face and walked over to my room only for me to see another cake and a lot of confetti on the ground..
‘Happy Birthday Madam Claire!!!’..Maria,Rudolf and the other staffs yelled and I gasped loudly…
‘Guys!!! this really wasn’t necessary!!’..I cried out..
‘You think we wouldn’t know the best person in the whole world’s birthday??’..Rudolf asked and I felt hot tears coming on…
‘Thank you all so so much’..i laughed..
‘No we should be thanking you Madam Claire,without you my daughter would’ve never gotten that admission into oxford’…Rudolf said..
‘Without you my mother would have lost the house’…Maria chipped in.
‘Without you i wouldn’t have that surgery Madam Claire,you’re the best’…Hubert,the driver said and tears streamed down my cheeks..
‘Awww thank you all so much,I love you all’..
‘We hate to see you go Madam,we really hate to see you go a month from now’…Maria said and my eyes went downcast..
‘Sorry guys it just didn’t work out’..i murmured and before the celebration was going downhill Mark and Emma came in..
‘Where’s the birthday girl?!! We have a surprise for you!!’..They hollered and i chuckled as they wrapped a blindfold around my eyes…
Slowly and carefully they led me outside and when the blindfold was taken off I screamed in excitement..
‘You guys bought me a new car!!!! You bought me a car!!!’..
‘Yep! A new Mercedes model!! We don’t want you to drive that junk anymore and since your husband is a total clutz we decided to get you one’..Mark replied..
‘It’s black!! Oh guys what would i have done without you??’..I cried out and hugged the both of them…
They were always there for me in highschool and protected me from all the bullies now they’re still here with me!!!…
And they bought me a new car!!!…
‘You better enjoy your ride now cause uhhh i don’t want to ruin the surprise but Mr Mogul is organizing a birthday party for you’..Emma said..
‘Mr Mogul?? But we only just met yesterday and isn’t the cake enough??’..i asked..
‘Ohhh no sugar!! Nothing is enough for you on your birthday and oh!! everyone is invited!’..
