CHAPTER 5
Kaylee raised up her head and spit out.
“That’ll teach you a lesson. Who do you think I am? A wh..óre?” Kaylee hissed and opened the door then got down.
“That bch.. She didn’t just do that!! Ahh, it hurts….mommy!!” Brandon cried out as he held that part.
The pain he was feeling at that moment couldn’t even let him move talk less of going after her.
Kaylee on the hand marched angrily back home with a mvrderous look on her face.
“Who does that fó..ol think he is!! Asking me to give him to give him a bk! I hope the job I gave him was blowing enough” Kaylee scoffed, wiping her lips..
“His dk even taste like rotten meat” Kaylee said as she walked.
She sat down on an empty bench she saw and opened the bag then brought out the money, counting it immediately.
A look of disappointment settled on her face when she finished counting the money.
“It’s not enough for me to get to college and all the part time jobs I do won’t even make the money sum up to the fee” She muttered and sighed
Kaylee dipped her hands in her pocket and brought out a flyer. A sad smile settled on her face when she saw the flyer
It was a flyer of Sunnyside College, her dream school. Unfortunately it’s for the rich and the money she has won’t afford it, even if she works 7 part time jobs per day.
She let out another sigh and wore back the cap of her hoodie before standing up from the bench, walking back home.
“Mom, I’m home!-”
A deafening sI.ap on the cheek was what welcomed her home the moment she stepped foot inside their old house.
“Lee..” Her mother gasped, looking so scared for her daughter.
“You useless child! Where did you go again! Don’t tell me you went out again for one of your stupid part-time jobs!!” Marco shouted and landed another hot slap on the same cheek, it became redder as the result.
Kaylee looked up, glaring boldly at him. This man standing in front of him, the man she despise the most in this world… Marco, Kaylee’s father.
“So what if I went to a part-time job?! I did nothing wrong!” Kaylee snapped back at him.
“So you’re talking back huh? The place of a woman is in a kitchen and no where else.. How dare you raise your voice to me!” Marco raise his hand but Kaylee’s mom held it.
“Please Marco,” Glen pleaded.
“What is wrong with looking for money huh! I wanna further my education so I can become someone successful in the future” Kaylee said.
Marco scoffed
“If I see or hear that you stepped foot into any college talkless of going to college,, believe me… I’ll disown you” Marco spatted those words and pushed Glen aside, walking away.
Glen immediately rushed to Kaylee and cupped her cheek
“Are you okay? Did he hurt you? Why do you always love going against his orders” Glen scolded her worriedly
“I’m fine mom” Kaylee smiled.
