CHAPTER 6
MCGWIRE MANSION≈6PM
A black luxurious car drove in the mansion. It parked and the driver came out, opening the back door for Harmony to step down with her new family
Her eyes was wide as she stared around the magnificent house, it was just like a fairytale to her.
“Welcome to your new home Harmony McGwire!” Mr McGwire said and Harmony smiled.
“Thank you sir.. I mean dad” She bowed respectfully.
“Let’s go in… I’ve had the maids arrange your room, I asked sister Magdalena everything about you!” Mrs McGwire said, leading her in
Harmony’s eyes kept darting around the area as she walked, from the bright and shiny chandelier to the walls decorated with paintings and also the sophisticated couches… Everything just screamed money!
They got to her room and she gasped even more at how spacious her room was. It was decorated with the color pink, her favorite color.
“I love it so much mom! Thank you!” Harmony pecked her cheek and rushed in room, looking around it.
She fell happily on the bed, giggling to herself. Mrs McGwire smiled as she stared at her.
“Dinner will be ready soon okay? I’ll send the maids to come tell you once it’s ready.. Magdalena told me everything about you and she said that you graduated from high school with the best grade so we registered you already in college, tomorrow you’ll resume lectures” She muttered.
Harmony sat up on the bed with bright eyes.
“Thanks so much mom!!” She exclaimed happily.
“Can I stroll through the street? Pretty please, I’ll be back!” Harmony pouted, blinking cutely.
“How can I resist this cuteness! Don’t taken too long okay?” Mrs McGwire said before leaving and Harmony grinned.
She stood up and walked to the wardrobe then opened it. A gasp escaped her lips as she looked at all the dresses in it.
“All these for me? Ahh!!” She jumped happily and began searching through it before picking out a cute pink hoodie
She put it on and twirled around happily before leaving her room. After minutes of searching around in that big mansion, she succeeded in finding the exit.
She walked out of the mansion and began walking down the streets, the sun was slowly setting making the street look beautiful.
Cars could be seen passing by. Her eyes was wide open as she stared at everything in awe.
She didn’t know when she stepped on the road and just at that moment, a car was driving towards her.
The car honk brought her back to reality and her eyes widened as she watched the car speeding towards her.
“Ahh!!” She screamed out but luckily the car stopped, few inches in front of her.
She slowly opened her eyes, her body was already trembling.
The car door opened and someone stepped down the car.
“Are you nuts! Who walks right in the middle of street! What if I had hit you!” Brandon shouted angrily, walking towards her.
His middle region was still hurting so he was walking funnily. Harmony stared at him and suddenly bursted out in laughter.
That got Brandon even more angry.
“Do I look like a clown to you!” He shouted but Harmony laughed even more.
“I’m sorry” Her laughter died down.
“Thank you..” She bowed respectfully.
