CHAPTER 57

Dennis chuckled and took her hand then kssed it.

“Let’s go to sleep babe” Dennis muttered and pulled her to himself.

A sour look settled on Kelly’s face as she laid down beside him. Dennis pulled her closer to him and immediately drifted off to sleep

Few minutes later, Kelly slowly released herself from his hold and wore her clothes then picked her phone before leaving the house.

“I’m coming over Evan, be ready to shatter my snail” She sent the message and giggled silently.

ROSE’S HOSPITAL

Angelo could be seen pacing to and fro in front of the Operating Room.

His head wasn’t at rest, his mind wasn’t at rest… All of him wasn’t at rest.

“What if her parents is worried about her?” Angelo thought and brought out his phone then called Brandon.

At the first five rings he didn’t pick but at sixth one he picked.

“What do you want? Called to mock me?” Brandon snapped.

“It’s Harmony, she got stabbed” Angelo said

“What!!”

“She once mentioned you’re her neighbor. Could you please inform her parents?” Angelo said.

“What hospital are you guys?” Brandon asked and Angelo told him.

Brandon hung up immediately.

Almost immediately, the doctor came out of Operating Room and Angelo rushed to him.

“How’s she? Is she out of danger, please tell me so?” Angelo said in a rush.

“Rest assured, she’s safe. The wound wasn’t that deep, maybe it’s due to the shock that made her to pass out.” The doctor said and Angelo heaved out in relief.

“Can I see her?” He asked and the doctor nodded.

Angelo walked in and met Harmony laying on the bed with her eyes closed.

He sat beside her and brought his hands to her hair, stroking it.

“Thank goodness you’re safe, I was horrified at the thought of losing you” He muttered and stroke her hair then leaned in and placed a kss on her forehead.

Harmony’s lid shook and she slowly opened her eyes..

“An.. Angelo?” She muttered and Angelo’s eyes brightened.

“Candy” Angelo smiled, stroking her hair.

“Are we in paradise?” Harmony asked and Angelo couldn’t stop himself from laughing

“So supposed we’re in paradise and you see me amongst the people who will make heaven, won’t you freak out” Angelo said and Harmony smiled.

“What happened?” She asked, trying to sit up but when the pain from her tummy hit her, she relented to lay down.

“You were $tabbed. Thankfully you forgot your phone so I rushed to hand it back to you only to fall in that man.” Angelo said.

“Thanks a lot Doll” Harmony smiled weakly.

The door to the ward suddenly swung open and Mrs McGwire was the first to run in before Brandon and her husband followed

“My baby!!” She rushed to Harmony, it was obvious she was crying.

“How did it happen? Who did this to you!!” She cried.

“I’m fine mom” Harmony smiled.

“Who could be the one behind this and why?” Brandon thought.
