They held unto each other as if they’ll run away from each other if they let go
Brandon slowly parted his lips from hers and she balanced back on her foot, staring deeply into his pretty eyes
“I’m sorry little bug” he whispered softly , still holding unto her
“Say something” he said hopefully
“I love you, I love you like crazy” she said and he smiled
Even if he doesn’t say it back, that handsome smile is enough answer for her, she misses the smile a lot
He hugged her tightly and smiled
“Promise me you’ll never avoid or snub me again” she said
” I promise that* he smiled.
“Promise me you’ll never ignore my calls again” she said
” I promise that too” he said and she held more tightly unto him
” I love you doctor Brandon” she said
“Thanks for loving a man like me” Brandon replied

The drive home was silent though they’re both wet and cold but the fact that they’re with each other is enough, they smiled at each other every minute of the drive and she pecked him countless times before they got home, the rain has stopped by then
He got down from the car and went to her side to carry her in his arms, she smiled and held him tight but when she saw he’s heading towards her house, she frowned
“Are we going to my house?” She said
“Yes, grandma has been worried” he replied
She sadly went mute till they got to her house and Kara is waiting outside
“Doctor you found my daughter again” she said, smiling happily when she saw Nirvana in his arms
“Grandma” Nirvana said, refusing to come down from his arms
“You have a knack for scaring me huh?” Kara said and touched her cheeks fondly
” I’m sorry grandma” she replied slowly, clinging more unto Brandon
” She can go with you” Kara said
“Really?, You’ll sleep alone in this house?” Kara replied
” The maid is there with me, you don’t have to worry” she smiled
“Do you…. trust me?” Brandon asked
” Yes…. like I said I believe you’re a good man whom I can entrust her to, coupled with the fact that she likes you” Kara said and Nirvana his her face in his chest shyly
” Go on in, I’ll leave once you go in” Brandon said
” Goodnight Nirvana, goodnight doctor” Kara said and went in
She looked back and waved with a smile before closing the door
Nirvana smiled happily as Brandon head back to his house
He made to press the password but she was faster
“2699” she said, pressing it
“Silly girl” Brandon said, going in after locking the door again
He got to the bedroom and dropped her on the stool
“Shower first” he said
“Ok” she said, standing up and walking slowly into the bathroom
She suddenly came back and hugged him shortly before going back, she entered the bathroom and Brandon chuckled, sitting on the stool too
Now he has the strength to smoke so he smoked gently till she came back in only the white towel wrapped around her body
“I’m done” she said and he looked up at her, she’s dangerously cute and he blinked severally before looking away
“I’ll go for mine” he said and went into the shower but is surprised to notice small droplets of blood on the floor of the bathroom
He came back to the room and met her still in her towel
“Are you ok?” He asked
“I….I suddenly….my … Men$truation suddenly came” she stuttered in embarrassment
” Oh” he said, moving closer to her, he turned her back to himself and the white towel is already $tained
“Fk” he muttered
“I’m sorry for ruining your towel” she said slowly
” Not the towel but how to get you pad” he said
” I still have it at home” she said.
” You mean you’ll go home and wake grandma again?, No” he replied
She slowly faced him. ” Then what do I do?” She said, biting down on her lip shyly
“I have no choice but to go get it” he replied and made to get his keys from the bedstand but then he noticed a bag on it
“Why haven’t I noticed this earlier?, Does it belong to you?” He asked her
” No” she replied slowly
He took the handbag and opened it, he found Heather’s ID and some cash inside
“It belongs to Heather, maybe from the last time” he said and luckily there’s a pack of pad in the bag
” Oh” Brandon sighed, bringing it out
“Here, use this” he said and she took it
She made to take her clothes but he stopped her
“You’re wearing wet clothes to bed?, How funny, do you have plans to shiver till death? ” He said and she pouted as he walked to his closet to get her his shirt and one of his big knickers
She took it and went back into the bathroom to dress up
She came back some minutes later with the $tained towel
Both the shirt and knicker is bigger than her small stature but she’s cute!, He smiled and climbed down from the bed
“Where do I dispose this?” She asked, referring to the towel
He took it from her and left the room to dispose it
She saw something in his opened closet and went for it, it’s a frame of a woman wearing glasses like her on a wheelchair
Brandon came back in and she quickly dropped it
“Sorry for prying’ she said
He came there and took the picture
” She’s my mum” he said
“Really?” She said, looking at the picture again, now she knows he has her lips and eyes
“Yes, she has eye problem just like you and will always say no anytime I try to cajole her to go for surgery, she’ll always say she wants me to be the one to do surgery on her eyes, that she trusts no doctor but me, I was still a medical student in college then, her words always make me work hard towards becoming a professional doctor….I made her proud and became what she wants after graduating,…I became one of the best young doctors in town and when I was taken in at Preston as one of the head doctors, the first thing I scheduled was her surgery but…..” Brandon stopped and looked at Nirvana who’s now staring at her with pity
“I hate pity, stop staring at me like that” he said
” I’m sorry” she replied slowly
” But when her surgery is just one day away, she….she died” Brandon said..
” What!” She replied
” I was sad, broken, hurt, pained, i felt like dying too cos the circumstances surrounding her death….was all my fault” he said sadly
” How?” She asked
” I don’t want to talk about it” he replied
” I’m so sorry” she said
” It’s ok…. and that’s why, you’re like a mother to me” he said
“Brandon…”
” Yes you are, but I don’t want you to get hurt at all, if I lose you too I won’t survive it I swear, that’s why I get confused all the time, I want to to stay with me and at the same time I want you to stay away cos I feel like you’ll get hurt staying with me and I don’t want that” he said
She moved closer and hugged him
” There’s a solution, I think I need to learn defense” she said
” Training?” Nirvana said
” Yes” she replied when he felt his arms around her, hugging her back
“You wanna train?, You little thing?” He said and she pulled away from the hug
” Yes I’m little to you but my capacities are fire, I’m a fast learner too Mr Man” she replied, flexing her arms in the big shirt and it looks funny, so funny that he laughed
“What’s funny doctor?” She said
“You” he replied,
” I’m serious, just train me please I promise to be obedient” she said, going everywhere he goes
If he goes left, she goes left and if it’s right, she follows around the room
“Nirvana stop disturbing my peace” he said….
“Doctor please” she replied, jumping on him from behind and forcefully staying on his back
“Are you tryna stain me with your bIood?” He said
“I used pad darling so no stains” she replied and kssed his hair
“Oh fk!” He said
“Oh dmn” she replied and started ticking him
He stiffed his body at first and didn’t get affected but he later fell for it and laughed loudly till they both fell on the bed with her on the top
“Say yes” she said
“No” he replied
“Please doctor” she pouted
” Those childish plays won’t freak me miss Nirvana” he replied
“Should I pull your lips?” She said and he quickly took in his lips
” Doctor please” she said, laying on his chest and kssing his chin
” Doctor” she said again
“No” he replied, finally bringing out his lips and she wasted no time in kssing his lips
“Nirv….
She hardened it and knowingly bit his lips slightly, he gasped like a girl and she chuckled before letting go
She broke it and rubbed his lips with her thumb
“It’s mine, I can kiss it anytime I like” she said, smiling $eductively
” Training starts tomorrow morning by 8″ he said
” Yay!!!, I love you doctor!” She gushed and kept laying still on his chest
“Why are you so cute” he smiled
“So now you admit I’m cute” she smiled
” Since the first time I saw you stalking me at the hospital, you’ve always been cute, the first cute glasses girl I’ve ever seen” he replied
” I knew it, you’ve been teasing me” she replied
” You should have known” he replied and he brush her nose on his own
” Your face is handsome and that’s why you’ll always remain my Greek god” she replied and he smiled
He adjusted on the bed and she adjusted on his chest, he covered them both and snaked his arms around her and she slept off on his chest, he pecked her forehead and took a while before sleeping off too
