“Where’s grandma?’ Brandon asked, breaking the hug and wiping her tears
“Huh?, Grandma” she replied, getting down from the bed to where grandma is lying
“The devl’s son ki¢ked her when she was trying to save me she has lost consciousness” she said
” Put on something” Brandon said and Nirvana rushed to her closet to wear a simple jean gown
Brandon heaped up Kara in his arms and rushed out of the house while Nirvana followed
“The maid isn’t around?” Brandon asked
“Grandma said she went to see her child, she’ll be back tomorrow” she replied
” What of your driver?” He asked
” His house is just a stone throw away from here, he comes early every morning and leaves after dropping me home at night” she replied
” Grandma has no driver?” He asked
” She has but he’s just like mine, he comes in the morning and leaves after dropping her from work, if we need to go anywhere after getting home, it’s Grayson who drives us” she replied
” That animal” he said as they got out
He placed Kara in the car and got in with Nirvana before starting the drive to the hospital
It was fast so they got there in no time
She was taken into a private ward and Brandon attended to her personally since it’s Preston
He told the lab attendant to run a test on her since he has suspicions
“She’ll remain unconscious for a while, take it as rest” he said to Nirvana
” Really?, Will she be fine?” She asked
“Sure” Brandon replied though he’s having doubts already and his doubts were confirmed when the test results came out
“Stage 4 cancer?” He said though he’s not surprised, she has the signs on her body
“Yes doctor, it was left untreated so it damaged a lot, oral medicine can’t work anymore” the lab attendant replied
” I’m aware….sht!, Meaning she has a short time to live even if she wakes up” he said
” Yes doctor”
Brandon walked out of the lab sadly
” What’s up?” Nirvana asked, standing up immediately she saw him
“She’s…. she’ll be fine, no damages” he replied, not wanting to break her heart any further
“Really?” She smiled
“Yes” he replied and she smiled wider before hugging him
“I’m so glad, if I lose grandma, it’ll nearly kill me, besides you, she’s the only one I have” she said and that shattered Brandon, feeling guilty that he actually lied to her.
“She’ll be in the hospital pending when she’ll wake up” he said
” I understand, let’s go see her” she replied, pulling him into the ward
She sat on the space left on her bed and held Kara’s wrinkled hand
“Wake up soon I love you grandma, I love you very much” she said, massaging her hand
An intern came in with materials to treat Nirvana’s swollen face with
Brandon suddenly got a call and when he saw it’s Reagan, he went out to pick
“Hey partner” he said
“I’m sending a voice message to your WhatsApp right now, listen Immediately” she said and hung up
” She changed a lot these days, always hanging up first” Brandon said and went to his WhatsApp, the voice message beeped as it appeared
He plugged in his earpiy before listening, closing his eyes
What he’s hearing made his eyes flutter open quickly
He started shifting back till his back is on the wall
“Mum” he muttered shockingly after listening to it
The phone fell from his hands and he rushed to the hospital rooftop
He covered his ears with his hands and screamed loudly
“I’ve been fooled!, I was fooled!, I was scammed!, Scammed!, Cosby and Zelda killed my mother!, They did!, Those two ba$tards!, Aaarrrrgg!!” He shouted, breathing heavily
He held the rails and his whole body is shaking with fury, his eyes are red with and his neck veins are obvious, they popped out rebelliously
“Cosby…. Zelda……fk!” He yelled again
“Never knew you had such a cruel experience” Mateo said behind him
He looked back and saw him holding his phone that fell from him earlier
He walked up to him and snatched the phone from him
“I listened to the voice note, sorry if it means prying” Mateo said
” Buzz off” Brandon said and started walking away
“Your father…. deserves to be grinded and fed to the wild animals…no he’s a wild animal himself so he deserves to be buried alive” Mateo said and Brandon stopped to look at him
He left without uttering a word
Mateo watched him till he’s out of sight and sighed
“Maybe he’s not a bad person” he said to himself

Brandon got home with Nirvana and never uttered a word, Nirvana had noticed that and decided to give him space so he won’t have to behave cranky to her again
He got his tab and started working on it
Nirvana showered and put on his clothes before coming to check on him again, she saw that he’s still working, not even sparing her a glance
She stealthily entered the training ground and breathed hard
“Is he going through something hard again?, Maybe he doesn’t want to tell me and maybe I shouldn’t try to find out” she thought
She entered fully and started with fighting the pun¢hing bag
Right now her hatred for Grayson is just same as her hatred for Zelda so she imagined them as the punching bag and punched hardly, making sure every pun¢h left an impact
The other time when he was trying to defend herself from Grayson, if she has been fully trained, she knows she’ll be good enough to bring him down
“I pun¢hed his face and kicked his face too….I should have ki¢ked his leg afterwards then target his chin and give him a double ki¢k, when he falls, I’d have marched his he.ad…. Oh Nirvana, why didn’t I apply all these earlier” she said to herself
” Cos you were disoriented, it was your first time” robot replied behind her and she swiftly looked back
” You followed me” she smiled
“Of course, you put me on and thanked me before going for a shower, you forgot to press the red button so I’m still on, and please don’t press the red button now, I still want to play with you” robot said
” I’m not here to play robot, I’m here to train, and I’m sad too” she replied
” Cos Greek god won’t talk to you?” Robot said
” Yes,I don’t know what he’s passing through” she replied
“Calm down, he’ll tell you when he dims fits” robot replied
” I’ll wait, I need to train now” Nirvana said
“Can I be your trainer?” Robot asked
“You can train me?” Nirvana said surprisingly
“Wait I’m not a useless Nirvana, I’m better than some humans” robot replied
” Oh really?, Ok accepted, how do I do a spin back kick?” She asked
” It depends on how swift you can leap into the air and how fast you can spin in the air” robot replied
” I’m ready to learn” Nirvana replied and robot smiled
“You met the right teacher, first take a step back, then turn around,leap into the air and spin yourself, then kick with your leg before coming back to the ground, use the leg you feel like it’s comfortable” robot said and Nirvana tried it but kept failing, she’ll succeed in leaping but to spin in the air is the problem
“Maybe you weigh too much” robot said.
“But Brandy said I’m lightweighted despite the fact that I eat too much” she replied
” Eat less, go on a diet” robot replied
“Go on a diet?, I’ll die” she replied.
“You won’t, just try” robot replied
” Ok…then I wanna be able to jump, $hoot ar.rows, swordsfight, run a long distance” Nirvana said
” We have a lot to do, let’s get started” robot replied .
