Chapter 44

“I thought you said it isn’t working” Claribel furrowed her brows in surprise as she turned on the faucet and the water poured normally

Andrea scratched the back of her neck

“That was just a prank..” she smiled, hoping she won’t get mad

Claribel’s eyes widened

“What the…!” Her lower lip trembled

Andrea pouted with pleading looks

“I only wanted us to take a shower together” she picked on her white nails

Claribel’s fists folded slowly

“Darn it..! We almost kssed!!” She thought senselessly.. she gasped after a few seconds realizing what she’s thinking

She bit her lower lip

“I must be ¢razy” she said aloud

Andrea scrunched up her face.. she heard that

“Huh..”

“Nothing”

“A shower please..”

Claribel shook her head sideways, walking into the room

“Ion feel like.. i’ll help you select your clothes” she said opening her pink wardrobe

Andrea sighed disappointedly

Claribel paused for a while

“Why do I feel connected to her and her mother… And to think that some strange memories caused me a throbbing headache” she wondered

“I really wanna know what all this is about” she said and continued her business

Next Day

Scott Hills High..

“Hey” Jessie flashed a smile at her friend and seatmate as they made their way into through the hallway

It was time for extra curricular activities and most of the students engaged themselves in one thing or the other..

“Jessica” Dior smiled back as they hugged shortly

“Where have you been?” Jessie wondered and Dior sighed

“I didn’t submit my assignment.. Mrs Smith got mad and punished me, I had to clean the library and computer lab even after kneeling in her office for hours” She explained

“Huh…That’s bad, sorry about that” Jessie said with a pathetic look as they made their way into the female locker room to get changed

“You finally joined the basketball team..?” Jessica asked and Dior nodded

“Yeah.. and you?” She asked

“I joined the dancing and cheerleaders team” Jessica winked and Dior scrunched up her face

“Do they allow us to join two teams..?”

“I dunno.. I just wanted to be a member of the both teams” she winked

“You dance too?” Dior asked and Jessica nodded

“Yeah..

Very well”

They both headed to their lockers and Dior caught Simpson glaring hat£fully at Jessica

Their lockers were near each other while Jessie’s was about thirteen lockers away

They all changed and everyone couldn’t help admiring and complimenting Jessica.

She wore a white singlet and black shorts that hugged her curves tightly, giving her a sxy look

“Woww..”Dior mouthed

She was cladded in a baggy sports top and a three-quarter length short with sneakers

“It’s bad right” Jessica sighed, staring at her self in the large mirror

“Com’on babe.. you look beautiful and sxy” Dior screamed and everyone turned their attention to them

?She’s hot!!!

?she looks more curvy than in school uniform

?Geez.. I wished I had a shape like this

?Dior is cute.. isn’t she?

?OMG! I’m jealous

?the cloth was really made for her

“Curvy Jessie.. please marry my brother” a girl faked a cry and everyone laughed

“Geez.. I’m shy” Jessica took in her lower lips, pulling Dior out of the room as they headed towards the large open field

They bumped into Audrey and Nikita in the process, Simpson wasn’t with them this time

“Look who we have here..” Audrey grunted in disgust

“A shapeless donkey” Nikita replied and they both giggled annoyingly, knowing fully well that they meant the opposite of their statement

They secretly admired her back side as she walked away

“She’ll become the center of attraction now!” Audrey said in fury

“That bch” Nikita folded her right fists

“Simpson joined the dancing team already” she changed the topic

“Oh really.. She finally decided” Audrey replied

“Of course, she’s quite good in dancing”

Harold eyes widened on sighting Jessie as she walked in with Dior

“She’s hot…”

“Hey” Jessica waved standing in front of him, he blinked repeatedly

“I thought you said you are joining no team” he said with a smile

She laughed shortly

“I finally decided, I love dancing yunno” she winked and he felt his heart race

“By the way, you look hot” he complimented and she made funny faces

“What..?!” He almost laughed

“Nothing, you’re in the football team right?” She asked

“Yeah, we’ll start a rehearsal match now, we have a competition with Dray international school, next week” Harold said

“Ohh, see you later then” she said and walked away

He held his chest

“I swear, I’m falling deeper everyday for her.. and to think that I’m just 15!!” He sighed

Two days later..

Airport

Milliseconds rolled into seconds..

Seconds rolled into minutes..

Minutes into hours..

Hours into a day..

And a day into two..

And finally it was Wednesday..

The large airport was filled with planes, cars and people who were just arriving into the state, as well as people who came to receive their loved ones and reporters who were interviewing celebrities and popular people that had just arrived

A particular plane had just landed in the last few minutes and the people in it descended, proceeding towards a big blue space bus that was parked somewhere in the parking lot

Two young children… Who were obviously twins, descended also and then a white leg on black classy heels came out first, revealing the elegance of it’s owner..

The other followed and finally the lady came out fully

She was cladded in a red and backless long gown, it hugged her curves tightly with splitting on her right leg to her mid thigh

A large red fascinator on her head matched her gown, her make up was light and beautiful, her lips was wearing transparent gloss and her eyes were dark, making her look dangerous

She looked around the city, and the cool breeze nuzzled her..

She smiled

“I really miss this country” she thought with a smirk

She headed towards the bus and entered immediately, then the car door closed on it’s own

A young lady sighted the bus from a corner.. she landed not quite long ago and had been watching them descend from the plane

She was wearing a green long sleeved turtle neck blouse on black long trousers and white sneakers with a scarf that covered part of her face and sunglasses… She’s Cathy..

“New York city drama begins” she smirked entering her black car as she drove off immediately the bus did..

She tapped a button on the bud on her right ear and the call receiver responded immediately

“She arrived just now..” She said, focusing on the road

“Oh really..” the person replied, sounding scared

“Need to stalk?”

“Ion think so.. to avoid suspicions”

“True.. I’m heading to the hospital now, needs to get the arm treated, I’ll spend the night in an hotel and come over tomorrow”

“Stay safe Cathy..” Ann said lowly

“I’ll send you a picture of my new look.. I’m now Natalie not Cathy” she said

“Noted. ” lady Ann replied and the call disconnected immediately

Cathy held the steering wheels tightly

“Madame Mariana….”
