Alive Hospitals..

Coincidence could be crazy and surprising at times but sometimes coincidences brings about good luck and favor..

Cathy was also rushed in to the same hospital Jessica was

Cathy’s eyes flew open to see an unfamiliar ceiling, everywhere smelt like drugs and injections and her eyes widened..

“Only one place smells this way..” She muttered and it dawned on her that she’s in an hospital

“Argh” she groaned

She sighed and managed to sit up but the pains from her back and arm made her wince loudly

A drip was also connected to her hand

“I hat£ hospitals…!” She snapped at the image sitting right in front of her

Her eyes widened in realisation when she beheld the familiar eyes boring into hers

Her only family left..

A sister and a friend..

One of the reasons why she’s still alive..

A mother..

A caring soul to lean on..

“Annabelle!!” She squealed excitingly, Calling her name in full and lady Ann rushed to her immediately, hugging her tight

“Catherine” Ann smiled as they kept hugging each other

They disengaged from the hug a few minutes later

“Best sister..” Cathy smiled

“The only one who reminds me that my full name is Annabelle” Lady Ann rolled her eyes playfully and they both laughed

“I should scold you yunno” Ann suddenly said frankly

“I know, a lot really happened” Cathy sighed

“You look really beautiful in this face” Ann gushed

“But wait.. how did you recognize me” Cathy said

“Your scent and Mark on your left shoulder.. you were impersonated though but all thanks to my smartness and that the interview got cancelled” Ann said

“By the way, who did this to you.. huh?!” She added and Catherine heaved a deep sigh, giving no reply

“What..?” Lady Ann said curiously and she slowly opened her mouth to speak

“Annabelle.. I and Tristan met again” she said and Lady Ann’s eyes widened

“Wait.. what?!”

Dylan’s mansion..

“Hey, massage those toes gently” Deanna snapped at the maid who nodded immediately with a bow in respect while another maid braided her hair

They were in the thin balcony where she ate from her pasta and meatballs

She arrived some minutes ago after Dylan told her of his father’s visit

Andrea went to school already but Dylan decided to take the day off

Dylan appeared with Claribel and Deanna smiled shortly

“I’m doing a good job” she mumbled under her breath

Claribel bowed slightly in greetings and she flashed her a warm smile

“Hey.. my maids are special beings too” Dylan scolded playfully as he watched them do their business

He sat on the chair and Claribel did the same

“Excuse us” Deanna said to the maids and they bowed before leaving

“What’s with that mark on your face?” Deanna pointed to Dylan’s right side and he sighed swiftly taking a look at Claribel who looked away immediately

“You sI.apped him.. again?” She said and Claribel bit her lower lip hardly

“Geez..”

“I was really annoyed” she muttered

Deanna scoffed

“You both have an explanation to make in details.. your chemistry is suspicious” she said

“Deanna.. I told you what the chairman said already.. what do we do” Dylan immediately changed the topic and Deanna heaved a deep breath

“What if Ashley isn’t really pregnant?” She said and Dylan nodded very slowly in realisation

“That’s true..”

“You still have the chance to provide another grand child” Deanna said knowingly, shoving a spoonful of pasta into her mouth

Dylan and Claribel scrunched up their face, looking at her in surprise

“What.. what are you talking about” Dylan blinked repeatedly

“We have an option.. but it depends if she will be willing to do it” Deanna said

Claribel kept staring confusedly

“Deanna go straight to the point” Dylan said and Deanna immediately turned to Claribel, taking her palm in hers as she rubbed it fondly

“Claribel.. I understand your feelings and I really don’t want you to feel we’re using you for our own interest.. but, you’re really the only one who can do this and we never can tell what’s gonna happen at the end” Deanna said slowly

Claribel was really confused

“I.. I don’t understand” she stuttered

“You are the one his family recognises as his fiancee, only you can do this then..” She paused, studying her expression for a while

“Carry the Langford’s grand child in your womb.. I mean be his surrogate” She finally dropped the bombshell and Dylan gasped

Claribel eyes widened in complete shock, she immediately removed her hands from hers

“His surrogate..??!!!”

Dylan’s Mansion..

“His surrogate..??!!!” Claribel blinked repeatedly and scoffed

“Are you ¢razy?!” She added before she could realise

Deanna heaved a deep sigh

“This is bad” she muttered slowly to her self, dropping her fork

“Claribel, I know…” Deanna was saying

“Shut the fk up please!!” Claribel screamed blocking her ears

“What do you take me for..? A tool you could use anyhow in accomplishing your missions?… Huh” She continued, breathlessly

Deanna bit her lower lip hardly

“It’s worth your anger but you just have to do this” she thought

“Claribel…” Dylan called slowly and she swiftly glanced at him.. glaring daggers

“Call my name once more and I’ll kck your balls!” She said without fear

She stood up

“I remember coming here to work as a babysitter.. You turned me from a Nanny to a fiancee for rent and now you’re telling me to be his surrogate mother!!

I’m human too and I have my feelings!” She yelled, breathing heavily with glassy eyes

She said.. now calmly

“You know what..? I’m leaving, to hell with you and your job” she left immediately

Dylan tried rushing after her but Deanna pulled him back

“You’ll only worsen the situation, let her be.. she’s hurt” she said

Dylan breathed

“She’s resigning Anna!” He snapped

“I know”
