Mavis turned to a guy who picked several tins of milk.. he looked like a Korean
“You’re free to marry her, she’s single” he said and the guy furrowed his brows
Cindy’s eyes widened
“Mavis!!!!” She pushed him roughly and he crashed on the shelf containing tins of milk and beverages, everything fell down in the process

“Come in” James said without looking up to the person knocking
The door opened immediately and it’s creaking sound followed
“Good morning sir” The Secretary bowed in respect, holding some files
“Morning..” James mumbled, looking up
“The McCain’s companies signed the project will already” She said
James scoffed with furrowed brows
“Those lowlives signed it before me?!” He yelled
The Secretary flinched
“I’m sorry boss, You weren’t on seat during the meeting and your son refused to represent you which made them sign it without an option” she said quickly
James hit the table hard and some files on it poured away carelessly
The lady staggered in implausible fear
“You’re fired!!” He yelled
“Boss.. sir the…”
“Leave before I call the security” he yelled again and she slowly left at the verge of tears
“Hey” he suddenly said, making her stop one her tracks, she turned
“Sir..”
“Pack the files” he ordered and she immediately obeyed and left when she was done
“Bast@rds” he cussed and continued what he was doing
His gaze was fully diverted to the computer he was working on..
His phone suddenly rang and he groaned
“Who the h’ll calls during working hours” he said loudly and picked up the phone
“Wilson?” He said surprisingly, checking the caller’s ID
He swiped to the left and Chief Wilson’s voice could be heard
“James..”
“It’s surprising to see your call at this hour” James said
“It’s about our betrothed children”
“Huh..?”
“It’s been confirmed..” Chief Wilson paused for a while
“That..?” James face lightened up, hoping its what he’s thinking
“Brinkley is pregnant” James eyes widened in surprise
“Pregnant..?!”

“Where are you coming from” Tristan asked frankly as Ashley removed her heels, falling heavily on the couch
“Is that your business” she rolled her eyes and he scoffed
“Of course, I deserve to know about every movements of yours!’ He raised his voice
Ashley grimaced
“Do you now yell at me” she said and he heaved a deep breath, moving closer to her with a sigh
“I’m sorry.. I was just pissed” he said and she scoffed
“It could be dangerous for you to go out anyhow yunno, you’re carrying a Langford’s grand child that gives us the only chance of inheriting the properties, you should be really careful, Dylan can’t be trusted especially now that he knows about your pregnancy” Tristan said
“Pregnancy indeed” Ashley thought inwardly
“I know baby, just that I needed to go out” Ashley said
“Besides, I’m not an easy lady and you know it” She added and he smiled, pulling her closer to himself, making her rest her head on his shoulder
“I love you”
“We must have the properties by force” Ashley said, ignoring his statement and he nodded
“It’s a must” he said and she smiled dvilishly
“Wait till I’m done with y’all” she thought with a devilish smirk

“Brat!, learn to show some respect” Deanna snapped at her son who disrespected the maid and he made funny faces.. annoyingly
“Mum, she’s just a maid” he pouted and Deanna covered his mouth quickly with her palms with a hard glare
“Ya!, keep shut” she said frankly
He struggled with her, trying to remove her palms from his mouth and he later succeeded, running to the smaller couch
“I’m sorry Ivy” Deanna pleaded and the maid nodded quickly letting out a smile before leaving
“I’ll lock you up if you dare insult anyone again” Deanna scolded
Princeton giggled
“Criminals are the only ones that gets locked up” he said confidently.
