Chapter 72

She walked back to her car and grabbed her suitcase, slamming the door hard in annoyance

She immediately proceeded to the Exquisitely built glass building

There were three securities at the main entrance which made her completely pissed.. to worsen it all, they stopped her demanding for her ID card

She managed hard to control herself and searched for her card, handing it over to them instantly

“Cindy Tara Wilson

28 years

Skilled writer

Experienced intern from Paris

Double citizenship status” one of them muttered annoyingly as he took a thorough look at the Card

“Would you let me in now?” She sounded so blunt as they returned her card

“Go in”

The automatic glass door opened on it’s own immediately she got to its front

The exterior part of the building could be described as Classic and exquisite but the description of the interior part is unexplainable

It screamed wealth and love for the blue colour..

One could begin from the expensive black tiles, blue designed walls.. Everything darn thing was admirable

The first floor was filled with workers who were walking to and fro with big books and papers in their hands

While some were fully engrossed with their writing and typing on the computer system

“Thanks” she forced a smug smile at the receptionist who directed her to the Director’s office after series of questions and identity confirmation

She kept swimming in the pool of admiration as she watched everything in awe

“Even Paris isn’t as beautiful as this” her mind screamed

She knocked repeatedly on the door

“Come in” a cute manly voice sounded and she heaved a deep sigh before twisting the door knob

She entered the office, turning to close it behind her

The director scrunched up his brows with a creepy smile

“I’m Cindy Tara Wilson, from Shreveport writes in Paris, I was given a transfer here due to my Chan…” The remaining words got stuck inside her throat as she beheld the sight in front of her

Isn’t he the one she just called her future husband.. just now

The perfect cutie!!

Wait!!

He’s he the director?!!

Her eyes widened in surprise as she kept staring like a dummy

He smiled broadly

“Nice meeting you”

“You!!!!!!!!!” She fainted immediately

7 hours later…

Greenview Schools..

“The other kids have gone home, its really unusual for your dad not to have arrived” Teacher Finn sighed

Andrea sipped from her soda without muttering a reply.. there were only few kids left in the school and Dylan hasn’t arrived yet

It’s indeed unusual

“You not saying anything?”the teacher stared at Andrea, surprised by her silence

Alex only nodded without a word

Finn furrowed her brows in surprise.. on a normal note, Alexandrea is a talkative but her recent silence and gentility is bothersome

She was about to talk again when Dylan’s car drove in

Finn heaved a deep sigh in relief but her expression changed when an unfamiliar man highlighted from the car

Andrea checked the car again to be sure she’s not mistaken and of course, she wasn’t

Its Dylan’s!!

The man advanced closer to them and bowed in greetings

“I’m Gerald Ford, Dylan’s Secretary, he gave an order to help pick his daughter due to how busy he is” the man said, showing off a fake identity card

Andrea suspected something weird but the name rings a bell

Gerald Ford is really her dad’s Secretary, she had heard that countless times but had never seen him though

And her dad’s car..?!

Maybe he’s truly the one

There was enough evidence right..?!

“Oh okay” Finn said believing immediately

She turned to Andrea

“You know him right..?” She whispered

Andrea nodded slowly

“I think so..” she mumbled and the man smiled secretly

“Bye..” Finn waved as Andrea stood up, following him as they proceeded to the car

“Why do I feel like something isn’t right” Andrea thought, entering the car and he immediately drove off

“Where’s my dad?” She asked feeling somehow

“Chill.. okay” he said in a tune unlike the voice he used earlier to the teacher.

Her heart beat increased in seconds

Her instincts is always right..
