Granny Teresa’s home
“Where have you been Claribel” Teresa groaned immediately Claribel entered
Claribel sighed without a reply
“Please granny..” her mind winced as she tried walking away
She bumped into Jessica who was just coming out from the toilet, there was no bandage on her head anymore though but her face was still really pale
“Hi” Jessica said weakly, flashing a broad smile that explained her sincere gratitude and appreciation.
“Heyy” Claribel muttered bluntly and tried proceeding into her room but Jessie pulled her arm back.. gently
“I was told you paid my hospital bills even when I was at the point of death and needed a surgery urgently.
Thanks for saving my life, thanks for making me alive again to see my loved ones and above all, thanks for putting a smile on my mum’s face..
I love you so much Sister” Jessica said truthfully
Claribel heaved a deep breath and forced a smile
“It’s nothing” she said simply wishing she wouldn’t say anything else
“Can I hug you” Jessica said again and Claribel groaned
She was really not in the mood and could feel her mind getting tired of the conversation
” It’s nothing okay, excuse me please” She said and walked away
Jessica watched her leave in disappointment
She blinked repeatedly
“Is she this cold.. Harold once told me she’s really friendly and jovial” she thought loudly..
Teresa heard her
“She’s going through some emotional pains and doesn’t want to tell anyone.. she really wants to be on her own for now, I’m sorry..” Teresa said and Jessica almost wondered if she heard her
Of course she did!!
Jessica nodded slowly with a smug smile
“Ohh.. thanks” she stuttered

Later That Evening..
“Com’on, its gonna go off” Harold said and Jessica laughed cutely
They were both in the room, he’s reading a novel while she’s playing with the candle light
Although, there’s power supply but Harold prefers reading with the candle light.. he’s used to it
Claribel was in her room, definitely sulking while Paisley swallowed and Teresa were making dinner in the kitchen
“I want it to go off” she winked cutely and his heart raced
He had really missed her!
“Please okay..” He pouted and she mocked him with her expression
“Seeing you reading while I’m doing nothing bores me” she feigned a frown and he laughed
“That’s why you derive pleasure in disturbing” he asked and she nodded with a childish pout
She took in her lower pink lip and brought it out seconds later.. w£t
Harold immediately removed his gaze off her
“Stop it..” he mumbled, she’s driving him ¢razy with every of her actions
“What” she furrowed her brows and repeated the same thing
The candle light suddenly went off.. and they diverted their gaze to it in surprise
“Why did it go off” they wondered
The room was dark but not totally dark though.
“Let me switch on the bulb then” Jessica said, trying to trace the switch but she tripped on something and fell back on the bed, directly in front of him
Despite the darkness they could still see eachother’s face, faintly though
Their eyes bored into each other’s without a blink or a break in the stare..
Jessica felt her heart beating faster than normal
Truly she’s just fifteen but she’s read in novels about love and how it feels.
And she’s feeling the same now!!
The sparks!
The heart beat!!
The butterflies!!

This isn’t what she’s thinking right..?!
Harold’s senses flew out of the window, he got on top of her without breaking the stare, his eyes turned wistful and affectionate as he leaned in..
