MAXWELL’S PLACE**
Granny Suzy is sitting in the big living room, knitting to occupy herself since Maxwell stopped her from going to the bar already.

He was sweating and breathing hard

He was already climbing the stairs before she could wrap up.
Warren met Maxwell wearing his white shirt when he got in, and he was looking all happy.
He obviously hasn’t seen the news.
“Mell!” He walked briskly to him.
“Any problem? You’re not breathing” Maxwell replied.
“Well… Miss Jemima…
“What happened to my girlfriend!” Maxwell cut him off, and he showed him the video and article on his phone.
Maxwell’s eyes widened as expected, and he snatched the phone from him immediately.
“What the fk is this!” He shouted.
“I dunno what it is, but she lost close to ten million followers already, and people are already burning her posters in streets, she’s…
“This can’t be, it’s not Gem…” Maxwell muttered, still staring at the video.

Maxwell rushed out of the room immediately, running down the stairs while Warren ran after him.
They got down and Jemima rushed in immediately, crying madly loud
“Max! I can explain everything I swear” she cried, and Maxwell swallowed hard, looking breathless.
“I’ll believe whatever you say” he muttered, and she sniffed.
“Darrell was my boyfriend in highschool, we dated for about a month, but I was so secretive back then, so I didn’t tell Sloane about it.
Unknown to me, he was dating Sloane too, and Sloane never told me too” she cried.
“What!” Warren gasped.
“He succeeded in impregnating the two of us and travelled out of the country, and that was when we found out we’ve been getting fooled by him.
I attempted to ab.ort Francesca a lotta times cos my hatred for Darrel, but my dad stopped me everytime till I gave birth, and it’s true.
