BROWN SKIN GIRL: Chapter 1 to The End

?Brown skin girl ?

?Chapter eighteen

Her heart was pounding in chest as she ran up the stairs. She tried her best to be as quiet as possible incase there was danger ahead of her. What had happened?
She got to the top of the stairs and looked to her right and to her left… Left wing!
She turned towards the left slowly. She reached into her jacket and brought out a gun, staying as sensitive as possible.

She reached the first door and swung it open. Empty.
She looked at the quiet corridor and she sighted a piece of clothing hanging on a door. She hurriedly went towards the door. She pulled out the piece and recognized it as Trisha’s jacket.
Becky tried to open the door, it was locked. She frowned and banged on the door.

“Trisha?” She whispered.
When no answer came, she stepped back, targeting the door’s lock with her pistol. She looked around her and silently prayed she won’t attract any attention by the gun shot.
She shot at the lock once and kicked the door open. She rushed in to the room and scanned the room.

Empty. No one was in it. Yes! It was the principal’s office. She realized.
Where was Trisha?
“Trisha?” She called, Walking into the room. No reply.
Her eyes landed on the door on the other side of the room. She walked slowly towards the door
“Trisha.” She called and heard a muffled voice from the inside. Her eyes widened and she pressed her ear on the door.
“Trisha, move away!” She told Trisha.
Trisha was overjoyed. So she wasn’t going to freeze to death after all.
She helped her self up like a robot and shifted to the end of the room, rubbing her shoulders and chattering her teeth as she did so.
Her aura was blue and so was her color.
“Ok Becky.” She shouted weakly.
It came out as a muffle to Becky’s ears.

Becky hit the door with her elbow and when it proved stubborn to open, she performed the same stuff she did with the other door, the sound of the gunshot echoing in the office.
Trisha’s hands flew up to the sides of her face like to protect herself from the falling door. She was so glad to see Becky, but a smile couldn’t form on her frozen face.

Becky’s eyes widened as she felt the chill from the room. She quickly helped Trisha out, cursing wildly.
“Who did this?” She asked.
“M.. M.. Mrs H.. Hanns.” Trisha stuttered coldly.
“Your principal?” She asked disbelievingly. Trisha nodded hugging her shoulders.
Becky groaned and took off her jacket. She put it on Trisha for extra warmth.

“The DI6.” Trisha blurted out.
Becky looked at her face and furrowed her brows
“The DI6?… You mean, they are involved?” She asked and Trisha nodded again
Becky’s eye widened.
“Where’s Ryan?!” She asked. “Their helicopter is here already! They are capable of drowning him!” She said in slight panic. “They can’t get away.!” She said in thought.
The DI6 were criminals, causing havoc everywhere they find themselves in. And now…
Becky stood abruptly.
“Trisha… I need to go after them now.!” She said.
Trisha weakly stood up., the cold still having impact on her flesh. Becky pulled her back down to her seat.
“You need to recover!” She said with a hand on Trisha’s shoulder. She gave Trisha the pistol.

Trisha shook her head.
“No way… I.. I..I’m not sh..sh… Shooting any… Anybody!” She argued.
Becky bent to knee level.
“Trisha, when you get ok and able to walk, I need you to go to the rooftop! If I don’t get to them on time, They are bound to fly through this space… You are not just shooting people, I need you to make sure they don’t get away.” She explained.
“How am I going t.. To do that.” Trisha asked breathing out cold air.
“Shoot at the vehicle!” She said impatiently.
“But what if Ryan is in it.” Trisha asked clearly.
Becky shoved the gun at her hand and she received it. She gave her the earpiece she had picked
“Put it on! We’ll talk.” She said and ran off.
Panic rose in the pit of Trisha’s stomach as she stuffed her ear with the Bluetooth.
Sitting there and waiting for the cold it wear off didnt seem like the best idea. She got up and tried doing some excersise that generated heat
It worked. Soon, she was good to go.

She hurriedly tied Becky’s jacket on her waist and held the gun, weirdly looking at it.
“How does this thing even work?” She asked herself.
She shrugged. Where was Ryan? Did they have him?
No matter what their plan was, she vowed that Ryan would make it… Alive.
She stomped out of the office in determination.
The rooftop. Damn, she was scared of heights! Botley high had four falls and that was high enough to frighten her. She shook herself of the line of thought. She was going to save Ryan and not to look below from the height.

Becky ran up to her car, and swung her laptop open. She did some operations on it and saw the helicopter on the eastwing… Lifting.
Her eyes widened and she looked towards the direction. Some feet’s away, she could see the fan of the helicopter swirling against the trees.
She groaned. She wouldn’t be able to get to them on time. She snapped her laptop closed and tossed it into her car. She brought out an Ak47.
Those guys weren’t getting away on her watch, even if it meant crashing the helicopter.
She held the AK47 like professionals do and turned towards the school.
She furrowed her brows in disappointment.

Trisha got to the rooftop and walked round it, surveying the environment. No matter what she did, she tried her best not to look down.
Her bluetooth beeped and she heard Becky say…
“How do I get to the roof?”
Trisha stopped herself from laughing in a situation as that but she gave Becky the necessary direction.
Becky nodded her head and looked again towards the helicopter… It was already off the ground. She had to be quick. Trisha would need her up there.
She ran back into the school, carefully following Trisha’s direction.
As she turned towards the third floor to go up the stairs, she stopped… Standing face the face with Mrs Hanns.

Ryan could hear clearly, everything that was going on,.. But his body was still down and in due to whatever was shot at him. Even his eyes couldn’t fly open. It was as though he was sleeping but his ears and brain were active.

Was he in a helicopter? Who were all these people around him? Was someone carrying him? How did he get in there?
He remembered Trisha. He remembered the kiss. He remembered she begged him to go back and be safe. He remembered the prick. He remembered feeling dizzy. He remembered nothing else.
And what he was able to calculate at that point was that, he was in danger. That was why Trisha was crying. She didn’t want him dead.
He felt a nerve hit and a nauseous feeling rose from his chest.
Damn! He could recognize that. They were no longer on the ground. Where were they taking him to?

Becky didn’t bother hiding the gun from Mrs Hanns because she had already seen it.
Mrs Hanns stood where she was, staring at Becky, who stared right back at her.
“Who are you?” Mrs Hanns asked.
Wow. What a principal… Sees a kid with a gun and could only ask ‘who are you’.
“The real question is… Who are you?” Becky returned.
Mrs Hanns snickered.
“The MI7, eh?” She laughed.
“The DI6.. Huh?” Becky said cockily. “Listen to me.. No time to negotiate… Where is your target?” She asked seriously.
“You mean the kid? I’m sure he has already drowned by now. You really thought a girl could do your job? Dumb!” Mrs Hanns said.
Becky frowned.
“… And where do you think you’re going to in such a rush? Up there? You know I can’t let you do that.” Mrs Hanns said bringing out a dagger from the side of her shoe.
Becky scrunched up her nose.
“Let me? Who says i need your permission.” She said dropping her gun aside. Mrs Hanns was no match for her.
“I could break your bones with my eyes closed!” Becky said. “But I won’t! I think the best thing to do is to freeze you think death.”
Mrs Hanns widened an angle and smiled.

“You found her.” She said. “You too are a threat.! Threats don’t stay alive.” She said and rushed towards Becky, swinging her dagger at Becky’s neck.
Becky bent and went towards Mrs Hanns’ back, hitting her back with her elbow.
Mrs hanns groaned and leaped forward.
She turned again to Becky, looking angrier.
“Yaaaaaa…” She screamed, rushing towards her with her dagger lifted an angle above her head, ready to strike.
Becky grabbed her hand and hit it on her knee, forcing the dagger to fall off. Mrs Hanns punched her on the stomach, causing her to groan.

Becky threw Mrs Hanns’ hand over her shoulder and lifted her off the ground, throwing her to the ground. She landed with her back with a thud.
“Urgh!” Mrs Hanns groaned painfully.
Becky was not ok yet. She grabbed Mrs Hanna’s by her hair and dragged her through the corridor, ignoring her painful screams.
She kicked a door open and dragged her into the room. The room was similar to Mrs Hanns office and it hand an inner room.

Becky smirked as her eye landed on the thermostat by the door of the small room. She mercilessly dragged Mrs Hanns into it and slammed the door shut, locking it afterwards.
She reached for the thermostat and reduced it to 27°C.
“Freeze to death, you witch! You won’t get another chance to mess with my daughter.” She said.

Mrs Hanns kept screaming and banging at the door. Becky paid deaf ears as she closed the door of the office. She locked it and pulled out the key.
She had wasted too much precious time on the witch. She realized. She ran towards her gun and picked it up, continuing the journey to the rooftop.

Trisha paced in fear as she sighted a helicopter, a distance away from Botley, coming towards the school.
She pressed the piece to her ear.

“Becky! Becky!… I can see it, the copter, its coming this way.” She said in panic.
“I’m here!” Becky announced bursting out of the back door.
Trisha breathed out in relief and her eyes widened as she set her eyes on Becky’s gun..
Becky looked towards the incoming vehicle and collected her target.

“Aim, Trisha! At the pilot’s seat.” She ordered.
Trisha looked towards the vehicle too and saw the impossibility of aiming that distance away.
Wait… If that helicopter goes down, so will all the bad guys in it and so will Ryan.
She furrowed her brows at Becky.
“Becky! Ryan Is in there.” She reminded.
“Those guys are not getting away on my watch.” Becky said totally unconcerned.

“Becky? What if you miss? What if Ryan gets hit? If that craft goes down, Ryan won’t survive.” She tried to reason with her.
Becky didn’t seem to be listening.
She perfected her aim and made to pull the trigger as the helicopter got closer.
Trisha couldn’t let that happen! Ryan mustn’t come to danger on her watch! Even if it meant the bad guys escaping. She didn’t care about the bad guys. She cared about Ryan. Maybe that was why she agreed to help Becky… Because of him! She wasn’t going to lose in this.

She leaped towards Becky, dragging her down with her as the bullet she shot escaped the target.
“Damn! Trisha! What the fuck?” Becky yelled, stand in on her feet and glaring at Trisha.
The helicopter was closer now.
Trisha got up quickly. “I can’t let you do that.!” She said.
“They are gonna get away.!” Becky yelled angrily as the helicopter came closer.

Trisha looked at the helicopter that was few meters away from the school. It looked like the landing shear was going to brush their heads if it wasn’t on a different lane.

Her blood began to boil with excitement as a bulb lit in her head. The helicopter passed by them.
Trisha snapped her head to Becky and shook her head.
“Not if I can help it.” She said and began to run to the edge of the roof to catch up with the helicopter.

Becky ran after her as soon as she realized what she was up to.
Trisha got to the edge and jumped off the roof. The incident of the day in the boy’s locker room played in her head. She reached forth with her hands and caught the landing shear.

“Noooo!” Becky screamed with wide eyes as Trisha flew away with the helicopter.
She shook her head vigorously. This was way beyond her. She brought out her phone
“MI7… Agent Becky… Calling for Backup!”
