Chapter 35
“Please Ryan don’t do anything stupid, am begging of you, please don’t hurt Cora, am sure Leah will get mad if you do anything to Cora,,,I know Cora is evil, and what she did to Leah is beyond human, but don’t take out your anger on her, she is going through alot right now, and that why she is taking it out on everyone”.
Ryan sighs and runs his hands through his hair.
“But why does Leah have to be involved in whatever she is going through Clark, the poor girl has done nothing wrong her, she just wants a peaceful life, since she can’t remember who she is, but still Cora is making everything difficult for her”. Ryan said.
“Am sorry Ryan”. Clark muttered.
“Why are you sorry Clark, did you do anything wrong”.
“Am apologizing on Cora’s behalf, because I know Cora, she won’t ever apologize to Leah”.
Ryan sighs and runs his hands through his hair again.
“Why did you have to fall in love with such a girl Clark”. Ryan said in frustrated voice.
“I wish I can stop loving her Ryan, but this stupid heart of mine, keep loving her no matter what she does, am sorry Ryan, am so sorry for what Cora did to Leah, am really so sorry, please don’t hurt Cora, please”. Clark said in a sad tone.
Ryan sighs, he looks back at Leah, and made a step to leave, and Clark quickly held his hand.
“Please Ryan don’t, I beg you”.
“Am not going to Cora”.
“Then where are you going”.
“I want to call Aunt Emily Clark, she needs to know Leah is in the hospital”.
Clark nods and slowly let go of Ryan, and Ryan leaves the ward.
Clark looks at Leah, and he felt so sorry for her.
“Why did you have to be so heartless Cora, when will you stop being Evil”. Clark muttered looking sad.
“I wish I can stop loving you Cora”. He said cleaning the tears in his eyes.

Cora came out from the dormentory the following day, with Audrey, and Clark approach her.
“How could you be so wicked Cora, did you even slept well last night after what you did to Leah”.
“And why shouldn’t I sleep Clark”. She asked and flings her head to the back.
“Don’t you even feel guilty for what you did last night, thanks to you, Leah is still in the hospital unconscious”.
“I don’t give a damn about her Clark, she deserves everything that is happening to her, since she stole Ryan from me”.
“Ryan was never yours in the first place Cora, so don’t try to put your anger on Leah, and tell me Cora, who is ever going to love a heartless creature like you!!!”. Clark yells.
And Cora slaps him across the face.
“Cora”. Audrey calls in Surprise looking at Clark.
“You aren’t in the right position to tell me am heartless Clark, am heartless but you fall for me right, and I know no matter what I do, you are still going to keep loving me, so quit with the pretends Clark,,,but just so you know, even if you are the only guy on Earth, am never going to love you, I rather die than to be with you”. Cora said and walks away.
Clark looks at her, and quickly cleans the tears in his eyes.
“Clark, are you alright”. Audrey asked holding his hand.
Clark looks at her and jerks her hand off, and she almost fell due to the way, he jerked her hand off, and Audrey looks at him in Surprise.
“Why Clark”. She asked.
“Why….., you knew about what Cora did to Leah right”.
And Audrey shakes her head.
“Don’t lie to me Audrey,,even if Cora acts so cranky and stuffy, she tells you everything, you knew about it right”.
“Clark I swear to you, she only told me after she did it, she didn’t tell me before hand, she didn’t Clark”. Audrey said as tears falls down her eyes, because Clark was mad at her, and this will be the first he is angry with her.
“But still you didn’t tell me or Ryan about it, I understand Cora is your best friend, but Leah was also your friend too, and she was way nicer to you than Cora has ever been, and you did that to her!!!”. Clark yells.
“I wasn’t the one who did that to her Clark, it was Cora, not me!!!”. Audrey yells already sobbing in tears.
“But the fact that you knew about it and kept quiet, makes you an accomplice too Audrey, I thought you were different from Cora, despite being her best friend, but today, you made me believe you both are birds of the same feathers, don’t talk to me anymore Audrey”. Clark said and turns to leave.
But Audrey quickly held his hand.
“Clark am sorry”. She muttered in tears.
“You know who to say sorry to right”. Clark said and jerks her hand off and walks away.
And Audrey continues looking at him sobbing in tears.
Keith sees her crying from a distance, even if he didn’t hear what they were talking about, but he could see from her expression, that she was really hurt by whatever Clark must have told her.
“I feel so sorry for you Audrey, I know how it feels, because I love you, but you can’t even notice it, I wish I can hug you right now Audrey, but I can’t”. Keith muttered to himself, looking at the hand band in his wrist, he looks back at Audrey who was still crying and sighs.

Emily who was out of town for some business quickly came back home after Ryan told her about what Cora did to Leah.
She quickly enters the hospital, and sees Ryan holding Leah’s hands.
“How is she doing Ryan”.
“No sighs of her waking up yet”. Ryan said in a low tone, wearing a sad face.
Emily sighs and said.
“How Cora be this wicked, she almost buried a human being alive”.
“That what I keep thinking Aunt Emily, but what has Leah done to deserve this, she hasn’t done anything to Cora, so why is Cora treating her this way, what has she done”. Ryan asked as tears falls down his eyes.
Emily sighs and patted him.
“Am sorry Ryan, am so sorry”. Emily apologize.
Ryan didn’t say a word, he was just looking at Leah, all he wanted right now was to see her smiling face again, not this face that looks as if is dead.
It has been a day now, but she was still unconscious, and he hasn’t even left her side even for a second.
His reason was that what if she wakes, and needs medical attention, he won’t wanna Miss that Chance.
He knew he has to apologise to Cassie for not showing up at her brother’s dealth anniversary, but yet he couldn’t go to her, since he was more worried about Leah right now.

“Why do you want to see me”. Cora asked her mom immediately she came out from the dormentory.
Emily looks at Cora, and landed a slap on her face.
Cora held her cheeks and yells at her.
“What did heck was that for mom!!!”
“How can you be this heartless Cora, you almost buried a human being alive!!!”.
And Cora looks at her with anger.
“Do you even have a conscience, you almost Killed someone and you don’t feel Guilty about it, what kind of a human being are you Cora, did you get posses by a demon”.
Cora sighs and said.
“Are you done”.
“I want you to apologise to Leah once she wakes up”.
“Over my dead body mom”.
“So you won’t do it”.
“You heard me right”.
“Fine, am going to have your credit card void, let see if you can go shopping anymore, is high time I set you straight”.
Cora scoffs, and flings her hair to the back.
“Do whatever you want mom, am not going to apologise to that girl,,and if I have the opporturnity to do what I did to her again, am going to do it”. Cora said.
And Emily $laps her again.
And Cora held her cheek and looks at her fumming in anger.
“I Know I wasn’t the best mom, because I wasn’t there to raise you properly, but do you think you would have had all this luxury, if I didn’t work so hard, there are tons of children who didn’t grow up without a mom, but still they grew up to be well mannered and kind-hearted,,,and do you know why I can’t come here you, and why I keep distancing myself from you, is because you have become a demon, you do evil things without regretting it, no mother will want to have a child like you!!!”. Emily yells.
And Cora remains quiet.
“I didn’t know how you became this way Cora, but I do hope you change, before you loose the people that loves you dearly, and you keep saying you want Ryan you Love him,, tell me how is he going to love you, when you keep on doing evil, don’t make me regret giving birth to you Cora, I love you so much Cora, but don’t force me to hate you”. Emily said.
“Whatever mom, do you want, I don’t care”. Cora said and walks back inside the dormentory.
Emily looks at her and sighs.
