MAYA’S POV
This can’t be. My head was now spinning.
How is this possible. I couldn’t believe my ears. What has that bch to do with Dante.
The door opened to reveal Lee in a causal wear. His face was beaming with smile and it disgusted me.
How would he be smiling when my Dante is in the claws of a scking vmpire bch.
I took my bag immediately and made for the door.
“Hey, you don’t look well, anything the problem? “, Lee asked from behind.
I didn’t bother to answer as both my soul and body was troubled.
I walked into the elevator and as my fingers was about to reach for the floor button a hand held my wrist.
Gosh, it was Lee. Can’t somebody be left alone on her own, I thought.
“What’s going on Maya? “,
“Am OK. Just get your hands off my wrist”, I said as I dragged my wrist.
“Am not letting you go in such condition. You seemed…. “,
He was cut short by his ringing phone. He brought it out and picked it.
He let my wrist down and I made use of that opportunity to press the floor button.
He turned sharply towards me still on call but the elevator was almost closed.
“Send the drugs. I will inject him myself”
That was the last thing I heard before the elevators door closed completely.
Inject who, I thought. Focus Maya, mind your business, my inner voice said.
I was lost in thought. Did Celine capture Dante because of the early incident? Or did the meet by chance?
BEEP BEEP, the elevator sound jerked me back to reality.
I halted a cab and prayed inwardly to find Dante at home.
Here was I standing at the entrance of my apartment scared to the root. I have never been this scared for once in my life.
Dante was my all. My prince charming with armor. I don’t think am gonna live well without him.
Now I think I was wrong on how I behaved towards Celine. Randy warned but I couldn’t hear…
What have you done Maya, my inner voice questioned as a tear escaped my eyes.
“Maya this is nothing. Remember fighting “, I said to myself before turning the door knob.

DANTE’S POV
Jeez my legs hurts. I have been walking all through all in the name to find a manageable job.
Maya went to work today and am happy for my girlfriend.
Maya wasn’t any type of girl. She’s specially made.
Her smile alone keeps me going. It keeps me focus to my mission which was to make her life a happy one.
Whenever am down or about to move out of the path, her smile draws me back.
She’s my one in all.
Lost in my thoughts I didn’t hear the shouts of people but luck was on my side as I saw a car moving in a very high speed towards me.
Without much thinking, I jumped of the road as the car came to a halt few foots away from where I was.
To my surprise, the driver was a woman and she was crying with her head on the steering.
I went over to the car and saw she was in a bad shape. She can’t drive in such condition.
I knocked on the door as she whined down the glass and to make matter worst it was the Famous Celine who was on the car.
Her eyes was swollen. I think Mayas spirit is on my side today as I always wanted to see this celebrity life.
“You don’t look well enough to drive. Can I drive you? “,
Her eyes were on me like she never saw a man before.
She nodded and moved to the passengers seat. It was surprising to me.
I thought she was like the bstard idiot Randy but she wasn’t. She allowed a commoner to drive her home.
She offered me a drink when we got to her house. I couldn’t fill my eyes enough as the house was magnificent.
I accepted the drink and drank up. She excused herself and I settled for the television since she said she can’t let me go yet.
After few minutes my body system changed. I was drunk. How unlike me not to check the alcohol percentage before drinking.
I struggled with myself but it was all in vain as my body was no longer mine.
Celine walked into the living room with only a lingerie red b.ra and p.ant.
God, what have I gotten myself into.
She sat beside me as her warm breath sent a sxual signal to my system.
“Fk me Dante”, she whispered.
