CHAPTER 15
Liam sI.apped his forehead the moment he heard what Mitchell said.
He couldn’t contemplate on what reason she was bringing that topic again.
” My wife’s diary?. What the f*ck do you need the diary for!” He yelled with bI.oodshot eyes.
Mitchell sniffed in air as if her last strength would be gotten from it.
She looked at liam and saw that with the current look in his face, he would tear her apart if she didn’t give out a reasonable explanation.
She didn’t also want to act mischievous infront of him or that would increase her chance of not coming out of his office alive.
She took in another wiff of breath and smirked.
” Of course. I wanted to make sure none of May’s possession were with you.” She said and his jaw dropped.
” And with what issue does my wife possession affect you?” He asked and she was speechless again.
Her brain kept computing for the next stupid-genuine excuse to give him.
” Last time, you promised to get rid of her stuff.” She Said and Liam pocketed his hands.
” That doesn’t answer my question, Young lady.” He said sternly and Mitchell folded her hands.
” Your question?. I can’t remember what you said again. And Anyways, I’m never gonna be concerned about your wife ever again.” She smiled and leaned down to pick up the files she haf scattered.
Liam gave a tough sigh and decided to ignore her for just this once. Her replies were stupid and making her sound mischievous.
He cvrsed himself inwardly for forgetting to lock up his office.
He went to sit at his swivel chair and He turned on his computer. He was shocked to see at what state his computer got in.
” Who messed up my system?” He asked and Mitchell’s eyes bloated.
She stood up, still giving the eyes of a milky white egg.
” Hum..i..I..”
” Mitchell.” He spoke out vulnerably before standing to his feet.
He stopped infront of her like a tall cucumber and she was like a nursery plant, staring at her master.
” So…My wife’s possession also ended up in my computer. Huhh?” He yelled and her eyes suddenly turned teary.
He waited for her to speak but she kept rubbing her eyes, shedding crocodile tears.
” Explain yourself, Theif!” He yelled at her. Mitchell grabbed his neck-tie, fuming up.
” Why…why would you blame me for trying to steal something from you, Liam. We’ve been working together for years now and you never experienced anything fishy. Why now!” She wept.
” Cuz i have the right to be suspicious!. Why would you be searching through my system?!.” He asked, trying to pull her small fist off his necktie.
She had one strong fierce fist that he wondered if she was made of stone.
” Look here Mr perfect!. I’m not your wife that you can easily go up to and open your stinky mouth hole to insult. i don’t care if you’re my boss, i would just beat you up this instant!” She yelled and Liam’s mouth dropped in amusement.
The next minute, his Cold laughter filled the room and Mitchell left hold of his tie, staring at him perplexed.
” You would?. Beat me up?. In what planet does that happen” He asked mimicking her and he leaned back at the wall, still laughing hard.
Mitchell grinned. She remembered she was once a street girl before receiving a job from liam.
She wasn’t afraid of returning back to her old self and she didn’t care if he sacked her afterwards.
” Oh. I sound very funny, Huh?. It won’t be funny soon, Mr liam. Just watch your back cuz there’s something big coming your way.” She grinned and Liam cleared his throat.
” I love Big things. I can’t wait to see what you have in store for me.” He said and Mitchell hopped out of his office.
She palmed her head. Phew!
” That was close!” She said resting on the wall. She was able to distract the big fool. Her phone rang inside her back pocket.
She palmed her bvtt and ran to a corner, picking up the call instantly.
” Hello?” She said. She already knew it was Ray.
” Where you able to get it?” Ray asked from the next line. Mitchell bit her lips hard.
” I wasn’t. I almost fell in trouble today but i was able to distract him” She said, staring at her fingers.
” Not impressed at all.” He said and she rolled her eyes.
” Where do we meet after i close up from office?” She asked.
” Nah.. Meet me in the close hotel nearby. I’ll text you the address.” He said.
” Sure. Ill be waiting.” She bit her lips sxily and cut the call grinning with a smile.

Liam leaned himself to the wall as he watched her walk away like a boss queen.
” I wonder who she’s talking to and what they want to gain from me. I’ll find out.” He smirked and stepped away.

EMPEROR’S OFFICE.
Emperor was watching May. She was busy arranging his document into a folder.
He had been long-lost staring at her immense body curves and it had left him gulping down hardly.
He couldn’t focus on anything else and the more he thought about her, the more he was loosing his cool.
May stapled up the files and just then, she felt Emperor’s arm surround her hourglass waist.
Her body got cold and stiffed at first as she wondered who was behind her.
Of course she knew Emperor was the only one with her and definitely the victim to have done it but she was too shocked to believe he was the one.
She believed he was a nice guy who respected her as a married lady but today….
She slowly leaned up from the desk and her back brushed on him because of their extreme closeness.
” May sweetie…” He said, kssing the back of her neck as his hands pressed her soft a$s gently.
” Aww..Mr…” She moaned clutching on to the files like she would tear it apart.
May’s inner sense began to turn turmoil. She wondered what had gotten into his head for him to start reacting this way towards her.
Tho, she loved what he was doing becuase she had yearned for him for so long. But this was crazy and very awkward.
” Um. Mr Emperor.” She sucked in her breath, biting her lower lip. She had never felt this way before in her entire life. It felt so good.
” I never realised your body looks this soft and quite tempting.” He smirked, carresing her thighs gently before grabbing her round a$s again.
Something kicked into May’s head and she remembered she was married.
She knew Liam would never agree to make her feel this good and her brain kept telling her not to resist him, her so gorgeous Emperor.
” Tell me you love me…Tell me you can’t do without me.” He said and her heart ached the more.
She grabbed the table, rubbing her ass on him gently while he grabbed hold of her tighs, groaning.
” I love you so much Emperor. i can’t do without you.” She said loosely, shutting her brain entirely from thinking reasonably.
Emperor smiled with success and yet, he frowned.
He brought up his jug of water and poured it on her head and May shut her eyes open in awareness.
” Stupid!. You couldn’t even keep yourself and a trust, for your husband. I’m so disappointed in you.” He said May turned around, looking at him in awe.
” You’d better set your sense to act effectively so it can function well before you make the wrong choice.” He snorted and poured water on her face again.
May woke up and met one of the workers, sprinkling water on her face.
She jumped to her feet quickly, clearing up her wet face.
” I’m really sorry, Ms May. The board meeting is going on and you’re here, sleeping like a frog!.” One of the attendance said and she checked her wristwatch.
She was late and she was the secretary!.
” Oh my Goodness!” She yelped in shock. She packed her folder and ran out of the office immediately.
She arrived at the boardroom and pushed the large door leading to the extravagant office and all stares went towards her direction.
She met Emperor already addressing every worker and as soon as he sighted her walking in, he stopped talking and called in a frowning face.
May gulped in fearfully. This was the first time she had seen him this way. She was in deep sht, no doubt.
The workers began to murmur around her.
” Can you believe her. She’s coming close to the end of the meeting”
” She doesn’t deserve to be the secretary”
” Her face is covered with sleep drools. Ugh!”
They all kept talking and talking and May quietly moved past them like a breeze.
She approached the table where Emperor was sitting and her fear grew feathers. She dropped the folder on his table and lowered her gaze.
” I’m very sorry, Mr Emperor. I didn’t mean to sleep off.” She said and Emperor gaze turned even darker.
” Your apologies are not accepted, Ms May.” He said and May felt the whole place get tensed up.
Emperor stood up and dismissed the workers before turning to face her.
He began to move away with his hands behind his back and May quietly followed him.
” Workers who missed the board meeting are always pvnished. But i have something more for you.” He said.
May creased her brow and her lip pouted up like a baby.
” I’ll do anything, Sir.” She said, lowering her head and Emperor smiled faintly.
” Let’s wait till tomorrow. Its a suprise thing. I hope you can handle it.” He said and May heart cooed.
She was so curious that she wasn’t entirely ready to see her pvnishment. But she hoped it was a pvnishment she could handle.
