CHAPTER 28
LIAM’S HOME
Ms Lily had arrived back at Liam’s mansion at the dusk of the day.
She was surprised to see the Livingroom messed up with traces of ginger sweet packs and walnut.
She knew May couldn’t have created this sort of mess. She supposed it was Liam.
She got to the kitchen and Found a different person and that made her more upset.
It was Mitchell, the girl she remembered, that came here sometime ago.
She was at the dinner table eating through a plate of cream cakes.
” What is going on here!” Ms lily yelled.
” What does it look like I’m doing. Eating of course.” Mitchell said without glancing at who was talking to her.
Ms lily got very upset that she picked the bowl of cream and stumped it on her face.
” Oh my God!. Do you want to turn me blind!” Mitchell screamed, standing on her feet.
” I don’t care if you’ve turned blind already. Take a vacuum cleaner and go clear up the sitting room!.” She told May in a harsh, troubled voice.
Mitchell cleaned up her face with a tissue and turned to glare at her.
” Do I look like an housemaid?!” She asked and Ms lily laughed.
” Oh. You think I’m an housemaid too, huh?.” Ms lily asked and dragged Mitchell’s ear and she started to wince.
” I have a family. I have kids that are grown more up to your age, so if you don’t respect me here….I’ll show you my real type of person.” She said and let go of Mitchell.
She rubbed her red ear painfully.
” I am still not going to touch that mess. I’ll only do the work if you agree to pay me!” Mitchell said, folding her hands.
” Pay you?.”
” Cus it’s not my job. And please, give me some space here.” Mitchell said and walked out of the room.
She went straight to the guest room and jumped on the bed, rumbling with complaint as she busied on her phone.
As soon as Liam is back, she told herself that she’s leaving here immediately.
Soon, Ms lily walked in with the Vacuum cleaner. Mitchell sat up and was confused how this old woman lifted that big thing up the grandstairs.
She watched her open the sac of the vacuum and threw all the dirt on her bed.
” Ahh!” Mitchell flew out in disgust.
” I have given you your space. Have it.” Ms lily hissed and stumped out of the room angrily.
Mitchell packed up her duvet in a roll and threw it in the laundry basket before dusting her hand.
” I can’t be a fool at this very young age.” She said and slept on the bed to continue on her phone.

MAY’S ROOM.
May came out of the bathroom, wet from hair to toe. She took out two of her favourite night dress and hugged it to her chest
She couldn’t comprehend the kind of joy she felt ever since Liam promised to change.
She was joyous and she wanted to be more of a wife than a scary cat.
She found herself wanting to look perfect tonight for no reason so she chose the red nightwear.
After she wore in the dress, She stood in the mirror and got amused by how her curves perfectly formed on each sector of her dress.
She took up her hands and held her long hair in a fistful and saw it was still pretty wet.
She walked over to the hair dryer and was working on it when the door opened. Just then, Liam walked in.
” Liam. You are here” She said, smiling at him as he approached her.
” So. You were expecting me, huh?” He asked and she tried not to blush.
She walked up to him and showed him her hair dryer.
” I don’t know why the hair dryer is malfunctioning. Can you help me please?” She lied, blinking cutely so he would say yes.
She only wanted him to dry her hair since she felt it was things husband did for their wives and she wanted to experience it as well.
Liam collected the hair dryer with a creased brow and he tried working on it. He was surprised how it worked instantly.
” Oh. You fixed it. Help me dry my hair then!” She said and ran towards the mirror.
Liam stood there in amusement trying to grasp the scene she just created.
He throated a chuckle and walked towards her, drying her hair swiftly.
He would peek his gaze at her from the mirror and she found herself tightening her shoulders, blushing super red on her cheek.
” You wanted me to dry your hair, huh?. You could have just told me.” He said.
” I’m sorry” She said. She was so much used to apologising a lot.
She knew Liam wasn’t as Dumb as her so he was able to grasp her cunning move.
After drying her hair, she stood up and he immediately lifted her up to sit on the table.
He came closer and brought out something from his pocket.
” I wanted to give you this.” He said and wore her ring into her little fingr.
May was happy, seeing her ring back with her. It made her feel like a woman again.
Liam rolled his hands around her and looked up at her eyes.
” I want us to start afresh, May. All the things I once did for you, let’s do it again. Starting from the honeymoon.” He said and May was shocked.
” Why?”
” Cause I haven’t gotten fulfilled as a husband. I also want to experience what I forgot after I got amnesia.” He said and she cupped his cheeks.
” Sometimes, you make me wanna cry. I love the real you so much, Liam. I love you.” She said and waited for him to say it back but he only smiled.
” How do I look tonight?” She diverted the topic and Liam smirked, with a raised brow.
” I can’t doubt any girl is sexier than you. Why did you choose to dress up in this.” He asked and she carresed his bare shoulder.
” You know, it’s been two years now and_” He stopped her lips from going further.
” You don’t want to wait till honeymoon?” He teased and she shaked her heads
He smiled and slowly carresed her thighs gently and then he kssed her.
” I love you too.” He said and May smiled.
He picked her up and began to head towards the bedside.
The door opened and mitchell walked in.
” Oh. Sorry. Um…wrong room.” She said and closed back the door.
Liam looked at May again and he leaned down to kss her.
